Great programs for pre-med students. I hope they will offer a 300 level parasitology class as well, like the class offered at New England University Online or university of Florida.

I really Enjoyed the genetics course I took. It was fast and the professor responded quickly. The only thing that I wish was different is that the grading system was different. For example offering A+, A, and A- type of grades.

It was one of the most powerful educational experiences I have had. I have seven doctorate degree and have four board certifications, and three diplomates. It’s very rare that I’ve ever taught any information that I do not know. I was taught by Ezra some insight that I had never have heard or learned before. And any time you could take an old jog and teach them new tricks I’m impressed. Ezra is one of the best instructors I have ever sat and had the honor of listening to him. And it was truly an honor to be a student with Ezra. I would recommend this course to everyone. Ezra is the smartest pharmaceutical doctor I have ever talk to. And I doubt anyone will ever achieve the ability to teach him at the level he does because of his incredible knowledge. He truly is the master pharmacist and educator in his field.

Numerous instances have left me deeply regretting my decision to enroll in this institution. First, contacting the help desk took hours, leaving me frustrated and helpless. Second, administrative responses to emails were painfully slow, taking days for follow-ups. Lastly, the head of the SCU online program deceitfully misled us about reimbursement—a betrayal of trust that left me disillusioned. These experiences underscore my grievances with the administration.
Moreover, the lackluster efforts of the professors exacerbated my dissatisfaction. Instead of offering original insights, they merely regurgitated textbook material, leaving exam and homework expectations misaligned. For instance, while statistics homework necessitated the use of Excel and a scientific calculator, Exam 1 instructions forbade their use, causing confusion and unnecessary stress. Following the exam, the professor only fleetingly acknowledged his error regarding the exam instructions, briefly mentioning that scientific calculators were permitted. However, defensively, he asserted that the exam could be completed without a calculator.
Furthermore, the evident struggles of my online peers mirrored my own discontent. As weeks passed, discussion board participation dwindled from approximately ten students to a mere two to four—a clear indicator of widespread dissatisfaction. It's evident that SCU prioritizes profit, making it imperative to steer clear of this money-grabbing program.
TLDR: Money-grabbing low quality program. Avoid the school. Unless you don’t care about learning, your grades, or your money.

This is my second accelerated course. First time was intense but was able to pull through. This is for the Anatomy class
I Pay tuition before the start day to avoid late fees and such. Wasn’t able to log in onto canvas on day 1. Call support (total 2) and wasn’t helpful and had to wait for call. Day 3…was able to log in but support did not call. Anatomy teacher was understanding but as a result…things went south. I have taken anatomy before as regular class and it’s hard. As accelerated course, it’s impossible to gather so much material if you are working full time or have family/kids. Being tested on 4 chapters in a week is understandable but 8 is impossible. Especially if you are going into medical field and that anatomy is crucial. They offer support but how is that going to help. If you are taking lab, spelling counts End up withdrawing because of the canvas issue and lack of support
You might as well take anatomy as regular semester unless you are student or don’t have full time job
I did like the fact that it can be completed in 5 weeks. I DO NOT like the fact that the tests holds so much weight on the grades and if you are going to keep it that way then extra credit should be allowed. Even USC SanDiego does this for the students as they also place a heavy grade weight on tests. It is nearly impossible to get an A in your program (I never did) and I had a straight 4.0 in all sciences before taking your classes and graduated summa cumm laude from my BS program it was the tests that prevented me from achieving this, I was always at an 89. something right on the edge but if I had been able to do some extra credit ... which would have actually helped me learn something.. test do nothing to teach you they just evaluate what you already know. I think you have some good instructors and the 5 week accelerated classes helps us who are in need of picking up some prerequisites quickly but you are also screwing us by placing such heavy grade weight on the test and if your going to do that let it be untimed and open book or and if not allow extra credit.

Having the opportunity to take my anatomy and physiology labs online was extremely helpful with my school schedule. It has helped to advance me further in my education while I am doing in person courses at another university.

When I was in between transferring schools, SCUHS helped me make sure I got necessary courses completed for my major. Just make sure your school accepts their credits first. I took a gamble on this and got lucky that my school took them, if not your money is wasted and that school will make you retake the courses.

Great class! It was my toughest subject but the professor was knowledgeable and had a thorough teaching method.

Dr. Levy is an incredible instructor and with this pharmacolgy class being the first one offered by SCUHS, was very well put together for professionals. I really am pleased that Dr. Levy listened to the students in regard to the pharmaceuticals that we will be seeing/dealing with in our practices.

The learning environment was not well supported. During my last course the instructor was not responsive with numerous attempts of me reaching out by all forms of communication available. For a 5 week course and things that move quickly it’s unacceptable to not have responsiveness or no support. I had to reach out to director to get feedback and support. Assignments were graded slowly and exams as well. It was hard to gauge where improvements and focus was needed. The average exam grades were consistently below 40% with major curves given at end with extra credit work last minute. It is not a learning environment. Very over priced for no education received.

Amazing professors, informative lectures, and more than fair assessments of knowledge. I learned a lot and had a great experience in the process!

Professors were not available for questions. It was very difficult to get in touch with anyone regarding course work, grading, etc. The cost of these courses was not reflected in the support and quality of education received. I would not recommend SCUHS and would not take their courses again.
