I ordered a sofa from Seats and Sofa Eindhoven on 13 September 2024 and was confidently told by the salesperson that it would arrive within 6 weeks. However, I had to wait a full 13 weeks for delivery.
Furthermore, attempts to inquire about the delivery status were met with vague responses and a lack of proactive communication from Seats and Sofa. I was never provided with a tracking number, leaving me constantly in the dark regarding the whereabouts of my order.
I would strongly advise potential customers to be wary of the delivery timelines provided by them as they appear to be significantly underestimated. I hope this feedback will encourage Seats and Sofa to improve their communication and delivery processes to better serve future customers.

On November 10th I went to the Seats and Sofas store in Eindhoven because I was looking for a sofa for my new home.
The staff there were very helpful and we liked one model of the sofa.
Among the different types of fabrics that we could choose they showed us a sample of the Ivory that they had in stock in the warehouse and we could have it faster than the usual 6 weeks.
On November 28th the sofa arrived and right away we could notice the different shades in the different pieces that it contains and in the different cushions.
We tried to change the position of the cushion to confirm that it wasn't just because of the light, which it wasn't.
The next day, we went back to the store to complain and they told us to fill out the complaint online and claim the warranty, which we did.
The answer on the following Tuesday was that this is expected of this fabric and there was nothing wrong, so they would refuse to help or the claim of warranty.
After that, I went to the store again on December 4th. The person responsible for dealing with this issue was not present in the store, so we had to go back again the next day.
The next day, the manager told me there was nothing they could do. I tried to request a refund and she told me they don't do returns.
I tried to argue that they only showed me a small sample, but she told me that it didn't matter.
I think I was scammed by this store and they sent me this sofa in different colors with no option to return.
I don't recommend anyone to buy from here because you have to be lucky not to have any problems, otherwise they won't help you in any way.

My friend recommended this place to me. Now I'm going to recommend it to everyone.
There are many sofas to choose from and they're very customizable.
Many of them are with the sleep function, which is not usual in the Netherlands. According to the staff it's all made in Europe. I think this should be more emphasized.
We were assisted by mr. Nadir. He was very professional and just the right amount of helpful. There was no rush. We could take as long as we needed, without someone standing next to us all the time. I'm glad he advised well.
I only want to point out that the tunnel to the other half of the shop doesn't look very welcoming, for a second there I felt as if I was entering a staff only area. Oh and also, if you put the address in google maps, you'll end up on the other side of the canal...

I purchased sofa and dining chairs from seats and sofas in Eindhoven on 18th May 2024. The sales person was talking very nice and given the information and given words on multiple things but failed to keep up their words.
Issue 1 :
They have calculated the price of the sofa wrongly during the purchase as they were giving multiple options and chose different price. I could not discuss in details as there were many people in the line for billing so I had to quickly move out. I did go to the shop next day asking for clarify of price calculation and correcting the price. They said the sales person knows everything and he will definitely talk to me but they have more crowd that day, they wanted me to come again. I went there twice to correct the price however store manager told that they will definitely call me to give all clarifications and correct the price as needed. Until now no one called me, when I called them absolutely no help.
Issue 2:
I bought chairs and sofa at same time. I wanted two purchase orders for these products for my personal reasons. However the sales person promised that we can have one purchase order, at the time of invoice they will give invoices with actual price . I agreed.
I picked up my chairs in the month of August 2024, they printed invoice for Euro 1000 instead of Euro 650 (which is actual price of the chairs). When i asked them to correct the invoice with actual price, they are saying they cant do it as system generates invoices automatically and they cant do anything about it.
Issue 3 :
I was given Sofa arrival date (latest) by week 44-2024. However when I called for arrival date, no one knows when the sofa will be arrived, once they receive the sofa then they will call me.
Till now the sofa is not arrived.
Issue 4 :
I was informed that service (incase of issues) will be given at onsite incase of any issues. However after purchase they started telling that incase they cant fix issues at onsite then I will have to bring the sofa to their location for service. That would be problem for me as my apartment is on 4th floor and I cant take the sofa back and forth (from window). Also they did not want to give after sales - service information in writing.
Please help to correct the price of the sofa and generate invoices for correct price. Else, request you to return my money immediately.
I will be contacting consumer forum again for complaint incase I dont get any help.

The fkn worse experience.
My boyfriend and I recently moved to a new apartment and visited the store in Eindhoven.
We went to buy the couch before visiting the apartment because we knew that it might take so long.
We went with our plattegrond and asked advise to the sales woman which claimed to be an expert in the topic.
To our surprise the apartment was mirrored, the measurements were fine although, when we came in the actual appartment and we had all our forniture we realized that the couch was way too big and four days after the ordering we called them to explain the situation and say that we woud like to have an L couch instead.
We visited the store today and they said no problem BUT, the price would be 3500€ as much as the hoekbank. We were like what the hell you are giving us a way smaller couch and still pretend to pay full price?.
There is a 30% payment if u cancel the order that is not mentioned but is in a very small letter at the end of the contract. THIS SHOULD BE MENTIONED BEFOREHAND!!!!!
We sadly will have to contact a lawyer because this is ridiculous.
Please don't buy here, save yourself a terrible hell of experience and a rude customer service.

Seats and Sofas is a worst company that you can ever imagine. They make so much advertisement and keep pushing with all discounts/promotions. The true colours of these people will known once you commit to buy or become a customer.
The customer service is pathetic, they have no respect for customer, no response to customer calls/emails. You need to follow up badly.
I bought new sofa last month and it was delivered with defect, I registered compliant and still not resolved. They are asking to pay more for fixing/transport. This company should be banned from Netherlands.

I went to the Eindhoven store to have a look at their selection. In the end I agreed to pay a deposit since this way I could get a discount but had to redeem it within 12 months. I bought a sofa elsewhere and no longer wished to buy from them. Then they sent me an email threatening LEGAL ACTION against me because I didn’t buy a sofa when the STORE MANAGER made it clear to me that all I was paying for was a DISCOUNT and had NO OBLIGATION TO BUY. Absolutely disgusting behaviour trying to scare and force people into making purchases. I gave them my own money and all they do is threaten me. They even sent me an invoice for over €2000 and I haven’t even chosen a sofa. AVOID THIS BRAND.

Dont buy in this shop unless you are 100% sure you won't return. The shop has a non-return policy, which was not explained to us during the purchase. When I bought my sofa in Eindhoven, I did not measure the elevator. When delivered, the sofa didn't fit, and we didn't have the option to take it upstairs with an external lift because of the building configuration. Once the delivery person saw this, he left part of the sofa in our hallway and considered it delivered. I called the shop, explained the situation, and asked if I could change for any other sofa in the shop or even pay the difference if needed, and the answer was no. The sofa was quite expensive, and I regretted buying it in this shop, WITH THE SAME VALUE YOU CAN BUY IN A SHOP WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICES.
That is why I do not recommend this shop to anyone: unforeseen events happen, and you dont need to pass over this stress.

Giving a 1-star because I can't give 0.
Price vs quality: outlet quality with a more "premium" price.
Service: Zero!
I really regret buying the couch there for two reasons:
1) me and my wife didn't know there were other options (specially online) with price smaller than Seats and Sofas
2) quality is subpart at most.
3) after sales service is bad, but like, really bad. If you want an advice: stay away! Rude people (thanks, Denise for your rude call!)
I had to pay twice the delivery because they gave my wrong details to the delivery company and they refused to compansate me.
They will definitely do anything to sell you a couch, but won't move a finger after you've paid!

The staff was helpful and the collection of sofas is great. However I do want to point out that the sofa I bought is not of normal proportions, and had only 2 parts, meaning 1 part was massive. The delivery people could not put it inside the elevator (which is very big) and had to carry it up 14 floors, I ended up paying so much for delivery, and then they struggled for 40 mins to get it through my door. This means this particular sofa the California is not suitable for normal apartments and elevators. Such disclaimer should have been out. It's not possible for us to understand what won't fit inside the elevator.
