Ticketmaster touting their own tickets. I hate the idea of Seatwave.

Thank you for your review and I’m sorry that you feel this way about your order. As we’re a ticket resale website we provide a secure platform for people to sell on their tickets, so the price is set by the seller depending on the current market rate and how much they want to receive per ticket.

On occasion Ticketmaster may refer customers to Seatwave when tickets at the original face value have sold out. When you click on the link it then shows that you are being redirected to the Seatwave website and also explains that Tickets may vary from the face value – we also always show the face value during the checkout process.

Good service, overpriced tickets

The service works perfectly and everything worked as it should for me, the only thing I could say is that the tickets are about overpriced but apart from that it was a good experience using the site.

The prices of tickets are set by their seller and this can vary depending on supply and demand for the event – meaning prices can be higher or lower than the face value printed on the ticket.

Will use again

Great price for the tickets, cheaper than Ticketm@ster!! Loosing 1 star because of the ridiculous cost of postage for the original tickets... (Only option) Will definitely use again and will recommend to others.

Payment on tickets sold

I was selling tickets to a concert. For this you take a commission fee. I have no issues with this. But what I don't think is right is that you'll take up to 2 weeks after the event has occurred to pay me the money for the tickets sold. This is a month where you on top of the commission fee also will sit on my money and get interest. For the concert I sold tickets there's been almost 200 tickets listed on your page, for which you take a commission fee for tickets sold for between 100-150 euro each and on top of this you'll hold the money for a month getting interest. I believe a lot of people are selling their tickets either because something unexpected has come up and they can no longer attend the concert themselves or something unexpected has come up where they are in need of the money spent on the tickets. I find this to be a disgraceful treatment of your customers

To answer on your response, no I don't understand. What does it have to do with the seller if the buyer attends the concert or not. They've made a purshase from the seller and that should be the end of the transaction. At which point you can take your commission fee, but no, I do not see why you should sit on the money for a month to see if the buyer attended the concert or not. You're argument holds no merit

Hi this is tuesday 18th April

Hi this is tuesday 18th April, I have sold two tickets to a rugby match which is next weekend saturday 22nd April. I bought the tickets through ticket master and have not received them yet. I got an email from you last saturday morning saying that I had until sun at 12 to post a dispatch code/shipping number. I was told to contact you if I did not have the tickets yet. I have been trying all day both saturday and yesterday monday to call your customer service number but it just keeps saying to many calls at moment call back later. This is truly an awful support number. I will send the tickets overnight registered as soon as i have them but how do I know that Seat saver haven't already tried to source the tickets for the person who bought them. Really disappointed and stressed over this...

When all of our agents are busy taking calls, we can either put you in a queue until the next agent is available, or we’ll play a brief message asking you to call back later. Most of the time, you’ll just be put in a queue, but occasionally – if the volume of calls would mean unacceptably long queue times – we’ll ask you to call back later instead.

We know this isn’t always ideal, but we feel it’s important to let you know that we can’t take your call at the moment, rather than keep you hanging on for extended periods of time.

tickets where a little overpriced

tickets where a little overpriced, i had paid extra for the tickets than what the buyer was asking as i was charged extra handling fees etc..and im sure she was aswell, i had been in contact with seller before i bought them, we thought this would be a safe way to do a transaction, so we both had charges, even so, seatwave still nevered removed the seller name from the email tickets, so if an issue had arose at a venue it would of been a different customer to the ticket name? would i of been covered? who knows?

Bitter pill to swallow

This is my second year attending the premier league darts in the 3 arena in Dublin.Both nights were amazing and I have no complaints on the experience.My only issue would be the astronomical mark up on ticket prices.I have no problem paying my way but to pay almost €100 a ticket and then to receive the ticket with a price of €30 marked in it is a bitter pill to swallow.I just don't understand why in the first place I'm on a Ticketmaster site that clearly have no tickets for sale even though they put you through the whole process of picking your seats ,and then to be told that there are no seats .Then I'm redirected to Seatwave to purchase my Ticketmaster ticket.Id just love to know what I'm paying for on the almost €60 mark up on my €30 Ticketmaster ticket.Its all just a bit frustrating,don't get me wrong they were great nights but there was a bitter feeling both times i purchased tickets.
