Excellent surroundings, food and service, would thoroughly recommend and hope to be back. Special mention to Nicola and Ella, as well as kitchen and bar staff.

E3 Premium 2.0 (Pastel Colour)
Wow, finally a canister vacuum that’s starting to evolve for the better.
While their E3 model has been around for nearly 10 years, I’d say the new pastel coloured versions have improved a fair bit.
In terms of being a bit more accessible for people of ranging abilities.
With the new E3 2.0 premium model, as standard direct from SEBO UK, you get a lot of tools included.
The hard floor Parquet tool, which has excellent pick up on all different types of hard floors, from vinyl to tiles and real wood floors.
This comes with the ET1 powered brush head, which is great for different synthetic carpets, though I prefer to use the gentler (green) brush.
It is missing automatic height adjustment, and a head light. While these are not a deal breaker, it would just make this the perfect canister vac.
Also included is the E series upholstery/carpet hand tool, the long crevice tool and the dusting brush. While the dusting brush does have a clip to go on the metal extending tube, it’s fairly stable and doesn’t bother me too much.
The turbo / air powered stair tool does also come as standard, personally, I think it’s a bit of gimmick. As the upholstery tool does a decent job on stairs with minimal effort. Their (assuming) thick carbon or nylon brushes just do the job at getting hair stuck in carpets and upholstery. It’s like those magic hair combs for carpets that you might see advertised on social media.
I guess the turbo tool can be helpful for those with limited hand mobility although.
More on accessibility, they’ve added a switch for powered tools on the wand. This is a great addition for anyone that struggles with foot/eye coordination. Which I particularly struggle with, and the foot power switch on the ET1 power head is a bit stubborn for me. So this solves that for many other people too.
With this newer E3 too, the cord automatically tensions when pulling out or rewinding. Which is completely one touch with the foot button. It’s most likely on a ratchet tensioner.
My only other negative, is that the E3 cord is a bit short, even for a typical two story British mid terrace house. The D4, while more heading towards commercial, has a better cord length. I can clean my whole house with the D4 from a single socket. With the E3, only one floor at a time. But it’s not the biggest dealbreaker.
What’s more, is that these newer E3 2.0s come with a 3 minute “boost” function. This ups the motors suction power from 800w to 1200w temporarily for any stubborn dust that won’t budge. Though again, this is more gimmicky to me because I’ve never had an issue using an 800w SEBO. They’ve always outperformed any corded vacuum cleaner I’ve owned.
Never been so dust and dirt free.
I reckon this will last many many years to come, and I would look forwards to potentially seeing the canister ET1 powered brush head with automatic height adjustment and a headlight. That would really be the prefect domestic canister vacuum for me.

Beware Sebo vacuums ...
I purchased a Sebo cannister vacuum for a substantial amount of money, not realizing until it arrived that it didn't include a motorized head with a rug agitator. It was nothing more than a shop vac with less suction than most shop vacs. Please be aware that Sebo may not be clear on the features of its vacuums. I would go so far as to say the website was misleading ...

The staff new exactly what spare part I was after to repair my old upright cleaner. A purchase was made and goods arrived two days after this, packaged excellently. No long wait on the phone call picked up almost instantly. An excellent company with well trained staff.

Stay away from this brand
Stay away from this brand if you want excellent customer service when things go wrong. They falsely advertise their vacuums are for all carpet types when they are clearly not. Made to send in videos as proof and tried endless suggestions over 14 days to no avail. Charged me for returning when it clearly wasn't my fault. When I questioned this they didn't even bother replying to me. My credit card provider agreed with me and refunded the cost. Went back to trusted brand Miele who bent over backwards to help me plus offered to repair my old vacuum, sending out a box and collecting free of charge. I will never consider Sebo again after the excuses they gave me, my favourite being I wouldn't be able to purchase a vacuum that is suitable for my carpet. So be warned when you're choosing a carpet that you must check with the manufacturer if you can actually vacuum it according to Sebo.
With regards to your reply. Im sure other customers will note that you haven't actually answered in your reply that your vacuum is not suitable for all carpets and is in fact falsely advertised on your website. I do not feel you are treating customers fairly by charging them a return fee when your appliance is not working as advertised. In addition you did not answer my last email or issued a refund as you stated below. Beware everyone this company is very dishonest and keep your money and the returned product.

Brilliant service from the Sebo UK team when I needed a repair, it was turned around quickly and seamlessly! Thank you all! Whenever I speak to the team, they are always knowledgeable and help resolve the query or issue brilliantly. Thank you to Robena, Emanuel, Babs and Debs! Helps that the vacuums themselves are brilliant, having used a very famous bagless machine for years, I would now never go back! Solidly built, reliable and brilliant at cleaning!

Sebo make powerful highly reliable semi-industrial vacuum with the highest filtration
Sebo make powerful highly reliable vacuums which will last for twenty years or more if looked after. I lke the modular design of Sebos. The build quality is very strong. But it is reassuring that if I ever damage a component I can order the replacement and replace it myself. Parts are easy to obtain directly and from their numerous suppliers.
What I would advise is that customers buy the service boxes. And change the motor filters regularly. Also I dispose of the dustbags when they are about two/thirds full.
I have Brinton 80 wool/20 nylon carpets. The Sebo brush bar lifts up (retracts) on carpet and uses gentle brushing but mainly lots of suction to clean. Most vacuums including all Dysons have a rapidly rotating stiff nylon brush bar which causes fuzzing on a wool carpet.
The brush bar on the X7 then lowers to make full contact with a hard floor, where it cannot cause any damage.
Another little tip. If you have anyone or an animal with long hair you will get tangles in the brush bar. Press the release tab at the bottom on the head on the side. A cap can be pulled out off the other side and you can slide out the brush bar and cut the hairs off with a small pair of scissors. But don't cut the red nylon brushes.

Fantastic Customer Setvice
Bought a SEBO upright as was advised that they almost never break down (when our Shark failed)
It’s been good so far but encountered a problem so contacted SEBO who’s Customer Service team acted immediately asking for detailed and advised that it would be collected and assessed at their premises.
In short, they organised its pick up and advised that a belt had slipped and that it was now repaired before arranging to send it back to us.
Absolutely 1st class service - no stress for us as all organised by SEBO and the cost was covered under its generous warranty.
We really landed on our feet by purchasing directly from SEBO and would / will buy again when the time comes.

Most Efficient vacuum cleaner…
I have used Sebo upright vacuum cleaners for many years and always found them super efficient. If there is a problem it can easily be fixed with a phone call to Sebo who are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient in sorting it out though most problems can be remedied at home. A family run business run to old fashioned standards. Can't rate them highly enough.

Awesome Customer service
I usually avoid writing reviews about anything, but feel I should do in this instance. My Sebo vacuum under warranty went kaput. Notified Sebo and within a week picked up, repaired and delivered back(as new…). Fabulous service! We've always been a Mie** house, I think we're going to change that.

Great Customer service
I offered to help a lady with dementia out by hoovering her house. However, when l started to use the hoover, the hose came out, there was nothing fixing it to the machine. I called SEBO customer services and spoke to a lovely lady called Babs who told me what l needed and ordered the part.
When the part arrived 2 days later, I had no idea how to fix it on, so again, rang Customer services and luckily enough spoke to Babs again, who was extremely helpful and patient and talked me through how to fix it.
Well done SEBO for your excellent Customer service (especially as I could talk to a real person )and Thank you so much to Babs .

I purchased a Sebo Airbelt 3 for our new home after having a Beam system for 18 yrs in previous house. Paid over $1k and hate it. It is not for anyone over about 5'10". I'm 6'3" hose is too short. Vacuum will not roll on berber carpet. Cord is always in the way compared to Beam system. I'll spend extra for any new house to install system with sufficient hose length and I'm not fighting the vacuum because it will not roll on short compact carpet.

I was dealt with a problem where all the filters and lines were cleaned but my red light still come on and it cut out after 30 seconds. I spoke to Gail at Sebo customer service. I took our ancient and much abused Sebo vacuum cleaner to hopefully get it repaired, however unfortunately it was uneconomical to repair. Due to the excellent service the machine had given over many years, we didn’t hesitate in purchasing another one. Dealing with Sebo in High Wycombe was an absolute delight, it was great to get some good old fashion quality service from Gail in Sebo’s Customer Service & Support Team. Many thanks.

My advice is to stay away!
I have had a sebo K1 since august, it never wowed me as the suction wasn’t great and the roller head gets really badly clogged with hair.
I emailed asking for advise and after them listening to the Hoover running over the phone was told that it sounded like it was staining.
I was also told I should have bought a ‘premium’ model if I wanted a deeper clean. Even though the description on the K1 was that it is great on both hard floors and carpet. I was advised by customer services (who contracted everything I said, was patronising and I felt like they were not listening to me) that I should have bought a different machine.
The hoover then stopped working all together and told me I needed to send it back to them to fix. If it was a manufacturing fault it would be fixed and returned to me and if it was my fault then I’d need to pay for the repair.
I haven’t damaged the hoover in the slightest so I feel they should replace it, all I’m being offered is for me to return the hoover to them which will take up to 10 days to repair (so I’ll be without a hoover and I have an asthmatic son) but this may or may not cost me. I feel like they are just going to say I have accidentally damaged it so they have me well and truly over a barrel.
I’m not taking advice as to how I move forward with this because I’ve never experienced customer service quite as bad as this.
I was recommended to Sebo and feel really sad that they have let me down!
It’s now looking like I need to go spend about £300 plus on a hoover this weekend and it most definitely will not be Sebo!
My advice is stay away so you do t end up stuck with a faulty machine like I have!
