Overbill and cannot resolve

We only contacted them because we needed to change the alarm code and didn't know how. We then decided it would be a good idea to have a proper service and maintenance. Since then we have had constant problems (not a single one if the previous 5 years) and each time they wanted to charge us more but didn't sort the issue and 3 weeks after a full service one of the sensorts was "dirty" causing the alarm to go off and a £240 charge but they said that isn't covered under a service. Billed for 3 hours onsite when engineer was onsite for 1/3 of that and had to argue with CCTV proof. Problems never resolved. We cancelled the contract early and will now be paying a second cmpany to cover that same period but hopefully do the job

AWFUL experience with these COWBOYS…

AWFUL experience with these COWBOYS !!!, "engineer" turned up 5 & 1/2 hours LATE !! ,
for a service call ,
I was then charged £200 PER HOUR !!! 🤬
for "engineer" to 'MISDIAGNOSE' the fault of 3 faulty camera's *THEY had previously installed.... and got quoted another £1080 to fit 3 replacement cables !!! £1080 for 3 cables !!!
It wasn't even the cables !!!
I had another firm complete the entire job at £165, not the £1440 they wanted !!!
I got the run around to complain also ! , took 4 weeks to get an unsatisfactory response, they told me they had a huge backlog of complaints to deal with . Never again 😡.

Only a phone call away.

Today I was having problems in getting my camera replaced but a phone call to Rena and before I knew she had arranged a Plymouth firm to deal with my problem let’s keep the service up Securico CCTV.Happy Customer now.

unprofessional Sam Caan / Rena

Have used this company for many years with good satisfaction until recently where we commissioned another job to go ahead. I said to Sam Caan upfront if the job is not completed I expect my deposit to be refunded in full in which he agreed. Since this point the work has been started and not completely properly. Audio cameras were supposed to be installed and they didn’t work properly I was informed it would work on the day and it didn’t so a call was arranged with them and my business partner - they never called. Wayne my business partner called 5-6 people within the company - no answer! Since this point and the work still hasn’t been completed Rena has contacted threatening legal action and debt collection for the remaining 50% of a job that hasn’t even been completed. They also installed additional wiring which wasn’t approved and they tried to bill us for this. They have since returned and removed wiring and not completed the job we initiated them to do. Sam Caan on email today has told Rena to sort it and gone on to say ‘it’s not worth the headache’ very unprofessional bad business. I expect a director to call me and refund my monies in full for 20+ more bad reviews from the rest of my team will follow in due course as we are very dissatisfied.

Great service

I have just had an issue with my cameras. I dont have a support package with Securico but they did install it. They helped me out and within the hour it was working. Highly recommend them and if and when we need more cameras we will be back. Service is everything thank you!

Poor quality , don't recommend

Poor quality , 10 hours after CCTV was installed 2 cameras had problems ( 11th of December '24) after another one day another camera had blurry image getting in contact with the person who sold them said we will try to resolve in January 2025 , how is that possible after I paid the price which they asked without bargain to be treated with so much indifference.

Consistently terrible support - AVOID

Consistently terrible support even with paid support plan. 4 out of 8 cameras are offline, half the system!!!

2 consecutive service visits have failed.
- 1st was on 12/12, 2-4pm. This was a no-show without anyone even telling us the appointment would not take place because the engineer had taken a "personal day".
- 2nd was today, 14/12, 9-11am. I've just received a text message from the engineer saying he's had a "family emergency" and would Tuesday work?

This is terrible service from Securico.

Impossible to call support on a weekend, the only lines open are sales lines. Suprise suprise...

If I needed to renew my CCTV, I would NOT use Securico again.

Would I recommend them - NO!

If you want CCTV with an extended service warranty that you can rely on when your system fails, I suggest you look elsewhere.

A VERY PATIENT UNDERSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL LUKE

My experience with Luke was like no other Luke had the awful experience of walking me through getting my security system back on after upgrading my broadband.
Luke was VERY VERY VERY VERY PATIENT with me as it took me nearly an hour to get through this easy process which was not realized at the time for me.

Luke had to put up with the audio of my profanity [ not towards him personally] that I expressed throughout the whole ordeal. All i express that he was very patient continuously and maintained a VERY professional manner.

Great cameras and lovely people

Great cameras and lovely people. Would be 5 however the installation of the programme on our computer wasn’t very well explained which resulted in calling IT services. Their IT services were very helpful and we were able to resolve the issues that might’ve not been if installation was more educational.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If you're in search of a professional and reputable CCTV company, I highly recommend Securico!

I first reached out to them about two months ago and had an initial consultation with Michael. He was incredibly professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the available options and how the CCTV systems work, without rushing through anything. It was refreshing to see that he wasn’t just focused on making a sale, but instead was dedicated to ensuring my specific needs were met in the most effective way possible.

Michael provided comprehensive and detailed answers to my questions. I had a few specific requests, such as making sure no wires were visible on the exterior or interior walls of the property. I was impressed by how carefully he noted this and made sure to assign an engineer with the right expertise to handle it.

James, the engineer who came for the installation, was fantastic. He arrived on time, fully aware of my request regarding the hidden wiring. He walked me through the placement of the cameras around the property and assured me that he would do everything possible to keep the wiring out of sight.

By the end of the day, the CCTV system was installed successfully with no visible wires, and the final result was neat and professional.

A few days later, I needed assistance with some adjustments. Neo, the support engineer, went above and beyond to address all of my questions. He made sure I was fully satisfied before wrapping up our conversations, explaining everything clearly.

Overall, my experience with Securico has been fantastic, and I’ll definitely be using their services again in the future!
