Yay for Nebula

Yay for Nebula! I ordered my Mars 3 projector almost 6 months ago. I originally wanted a large tv, but decided we had enough tv’s. After nearly 6 months of use, the projector is everything that was promised and more. It was shipped on time, it arrived well packaged, and it hasn’t given me a problem since I’ve had it. Love it!

Disappointing customer service experience and insufficient product

Since I was not happy at all with the Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser at all as it only had about half of the promised and advertised runtime via battery, I had been offered a replacement. However, since the replacement had the exact same issues, I figured the item was simply not fir for purpose and I asked to be refunded. But guess what - customer service suddenly changed approach and decided that i now fall into warranty period (procedures took long time since they even failed to deliver one replacement to the correct address...), and now I was expected to accept only a partial refund. Any discussions with them failed, they denied me a full refund, and at the end I had to claim my money back via bank chargeback... Shocking experience, and the product was was as advertised.

I supported Seenebula early through…

I supported Seenebula early through what was presented as a Kickstarter-style pledge for a discount. I paid $100 with the understanding that this secured the discounted pricing. What was not made clear was that there were additional steps required beyond the pledge itself.
Seenebula acknowledged they received my deposit and even recognized that there was confusion in how the offer was communicated. However, they refused to honor the discount and initially would not process a refund either. I had to proactively reach out multiple times just to get my money back.
For a company that emphasizes community and early supporters, this was disappointing. As an early contributor acting in good faith, I expected clearer communication and more flexibility when the mistake was acknowledged. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience.
Transparency around promotions and customer-friendly resolution matter — and this fell short.

Unprofessional and unacceptable


The service I have received from Nebula has been infuriatingly appalling.

With my initial problem I spent over 2 weeks calling on a daily basis.

Nebula Mars II Pro, won’t charge and has been used as an outdoor camera less than 5 times. I can still use it if plugged in but that is not what I spent so much money on a projector for.

Then when I spoke to someone called Sally who looked over my notes, she agreed that i had received a really bad experience and said she would look at replacing the Nebula or replacing the part.

I then receive a standard email saying it’s out of warranty and there is nothing they are prepared to do. Which environmentally is an appalling response!

I have since escalated this,, TNG400253008, following the companies escalation process and spent a further 2 weeks chasing a response on which I am told someone will get back to me within 24 hours. 2 weeks daily calls, being assured every time that the customer representative will personally ensure it gets escalated and still no response.

My background is regulation and from where I am sitting either your systems and controls need a serious overhaul or you actually don’t care about your customers.

To be promised a fix and then receive this email is unprofessional and wholly unacceptable !

X1 Magic

Love the Nebula X1! Easy set up and beautiful picture. The wireless speakers make getting to outdoor movie night magic a snap!!

My only regret is not waiting another month for the X1 Pro launch!

The public portable theater

The picture and the sound are phenomenal!! Love sports, outdoor gatherings, large crowds, and holidays? This very light weight projector and speakers are perfect for you and to entertain guest!! Easy to set-up it plays whatever you want it's defiantly 10/10

Still waiting on a refund weeks later

Spent a significant amount of money on a projector and screen, the projector did not work well in the garden, so I returned. I am still waiting on a refund weeks later. Package was returned successfully to the warehouse via Royal Mail tracked service, which due to its l size cost about £50 and I had to self fund. Customer service now keeps asking for time to contact the warehouse to confirm receipt despite Royal Mail confirming arrival. Pretty sure email responses are automated. You have a refund policy, why are you not sticking to it when your customers are following the guidance correctly?!

Premium build quality, performance and support!

The build quality looks and feels great and performs splendidly. Easy to setup although there was some settings tweaking needed to optimize for my specific use case. Luckily, techsupport at seenebula was as premium as the physical product. Very responsive with knowledgeable tips and setting changes.

Anker does it again

Anker does it again! So far I love the projector. Ease of use, portability make it a go anywhere TV. The power brick does get a bit hot, but I just keep it cool with a small fan. Had some small issues with software.... customer support is very responsive!

Terrible costumer service

Brought a Cosmos projector 4 months ago, had problems so contacted costumer support, ive had so many emails constantly explaining the same problems even sending screenshots of my settings, sometimes it fails to connect to my soundbar via ARC, sometimes fails to connect to my WIFI, auto focus when startup even though that function is switched off, issues where software, so they sent a new projector out which i knew wouldn't resolve my problems, and it didnt, i was then told i had to take my old one to a post office to return it, like why am i having to go out of my way to sort there problems out ?, ive spent so much of my time and effort trying to resolve their issues i started to become angry and frustrated, thats when they started being rude and blatantly lying to me,
In 20 years of purchasing tech online ive never had such poor costumer service,
Cant recommend them nor write good things about this service

The device is working but dented

The device is working, but it’s dented and looks bad. It doesn’t feel like I’ve bought a new device that I’d be happy to own.

Purchased for £1500 purchased the 4k…

Purchased for £1500 purchased the 4k projector
Lasted 18 months and went off , was told that I was out of guarantee and offered 20 % discount on new purchase soooo angry as it was so expensive .Dont Buy it doesn’t last . I was told maybe dust or cooling mechanism but it’s out of guarantee nothing they can do but if I pay they will repair ..

Amazing quality product and service

Amazing quality product and can’t praise it enough. Stunning picture quality and through my home cinema setup just makes the whole experience majorly better. Going from a 50” 4K led tv to a screen capable of 120” is a major difference, the projector is capable of bigger screen sizes as well😱 highly recommend. Delivery could be offered faster but still got here within a week, given a bank holiday in between, so I’m very happy with the service received.
