Quality cycle delivery service.
The service from SendBike staff was excellent, with prompt and helpful responses to enquiries regarding packaging and arrangements for pickup & delivery etc.
Boxes supplied for the bike were adequate, bubble wrap & parcel tape high quality.
The wrapping materials were delivered overnight (to Northern Ireland). Pickup (by DHL) was an hour later than predicted. Delivery to England was ‘by the end of the day’ - but only just - at 20.15hrs; the van apparently getting a flat tyre early in the day! So, order Weds; packing materials delivered Thurs; bike collected from NI Fri; delivered to England Mon evening. I doubt others companies would manage any faster.
There are less expensive delivery services available, but you get what you pay for. I would be very happy to use again and to recommend.

Bike Box
Ordered a large bicycle box, tape and bubble wrap. Everything arrived next day which was ideal as time was of the essence. Only negative, all be it a small one, was that the bubble wrap had been tapped together with brown packing tape which is not the easiest to remove from something so fragile as bubble wrap. Otherwise, very happy and would use again and recommended.

15 MONTHS ON AND STILL NOTHING
Invoice No. D11913.. dec 2022.. and PIPPA, you know perfectly well who this is.. YOU COST me more for delivering the bike than it was actually worth NEW. Read my previous trustpilot re this. YOU HAVE FAILED TO DO ANYTHING… and you have failed to refund me anything either despite many promises…
ha ha absolutely INEPT company, used these to send my bike to Portugal Jan 23 , (read previous reviews) AFTER MANY PROMISES of sorting the issue, there ineptitiude cost me more in charges from DHL and customs , THAN THE BIKE WAS ACTUALLY WORTH....( I could have bought a new bike there cheaper and kept this one at home..) WHICH SHOULD NEVE HAVE BEEN PAID AS I WAS ONLY SENDING THE BIKE OVER TO USE FOR A FEW MONTHS TO RECOVER FROM AN OPERATION.. They promised over and over to resolve it and get my money back . NO nothing, they dont even keepp in touch .. NOW its APRIL 24 .. 15 months later and still NOTHING .. I asked them to refund me the FEE £125 I paid them as they cost me over £300 more in charges that should NEVER have been made. they are NOT even decent enough to do this so thanks to their total INEPTITUDE it cost me over £425 to send a bike worth only £300 over.. CRAP SERVICE CRAP COMAPANY.. DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE..
Worst experience ever
I wanted to send my e-bike with a battery from SF to Europe, but finally BA took the bike without the battery - Pippa suggested that sendbike carry the battery. Almost three months later, battery is still in the US, Pippa suggests to refund me (ie wash their hands as they are not liable to anything anymore) and put all the blame on DHL (the battery is over 700 € and insured!). Worst service ever, worst customer chat experience I ever got (sentences from the chat: "this depot let us down so badly"; "I am going to write a TP review now, depot depot depot manager so so so so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"; "o no we don't sell batteries Peter, let me find a dam it courier!!!!!!!!!! Why is this world so hard to deal with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!").
Edit 30.04 following sendbike's answer. I asked several times how to pack the battery and never got an answer. This is a really unfair comment from their side.
Edit 30.04 after contacting sendbike again. I asked whether they were still looking for a solution (which they claimed in my previous contact with them). Here is the answer "as discussed we stopped this service and refunded in full due to the horrible review still up" and "as discussed would of transported for you no issue but review is still up so we have refunded and canceled a long time ago". Using truspilot reviews as blackmail is an interesting way of seeing customer service.
