I am absolutely delighted with the service received. Very simple, easy to book. I shipped my bikes from Italy to Portugal. Boxes provided on time, easy to pack. They were collected 17/06 as arranged and I received them 20/06 as promised. I have to say, I was nervous as this was my first time to use this service, but I cannot be happier. Communication, shipping, all perfect.

Totally Incompetent. Zero Communication.
SendBike were great until they had taken £260 from me. Since then their communication has been either incoherent machine-created nonsense or they have simply ignored me on their LiveChat and Email channels. My bike was collected 7 days ago - after they had sent me the wrong labels - and now appears to be stuck in customs in Barcelona. They have given me zero support throughout and have not answered my questions for the last week. There is no number to call and it is over a week since they last promised that they would be in touch so I am totally cut off from all communication and I have no idea if, or when, my bike will arrive.

They ghosted me! And don't seem capable of shipping e-bikes
They ghosted me! And they don't seem to have the capacity to ship e-bikes, despite selling me this service. I scheduled an overseas e-bike shipment with Sendbike.com one month in advance and paid in full (£550.00). I had originally planned on removing the battery and shipping it separately from the bike, and contacted Sendbike for that service. Their customer service agent explained that they could do ebike shipping with the battery, so I purchased that service, even though it was quite expensive, because it seemed much more convenient.
The pickup was scheduled for yesterday, and yesterday morning they informed me they wouldn't be able to pick it up, without providing an explanation. I had written to them the week previous to confirm the pickup but they didn't respond. Yesterday they promised an update on the order before 1pm, but didn't provide one, and then closed their customer service chat feature (no phone contact provided). This morning I sent chats to their chatbot for two hours before receiving a reply. They said they could only send the bike if I removed the battery and offered to arrange a second pickup. I reluctantly agreed to this. They then proceeded to say that they could not provide me with the information about how to package and prep the battery for shipping (which has to be done as hazardous goods) today. And then they ghosted me again!
My family and I are moving overseas today, it's the absolute last day we can arrange this. This is appalling.
Certainly the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I'm growing increasingly worried that this company is a complete scam. I truly have no idea how they achieved such a high trustpilot score. Many of the reviews here seem to be either procedurally generated or near copy-and-paste from one another.
An all-round excellent experience
An all-round excellent experience. The boxes I received for sending bicycle frames are of excellent quality and well packed, so they can be stored. Additionally, next-day delivery is essential for me, so I am very happy. This is my third order, and I will keep using this service.

From the very start, my contact with the support service was excellent. I was long undecided about whether to fly with the bicycle as registered luggage or to send it. Flying with it would have been cheaper, but travelling to the airport by public transport would have been awful. So, I decided to use the service to send it. It was extremely simple, I placed the order, and the box appeared the next day. My bicycle was already partially disassembled and in a protective travel bag, which fit right into the box. On the designated day, the courier arrived, collected my bicycle, and delivered it here to my accommodation. Since it was my first time sending a bicycle, I had many questions, which the customer service contact patiently and politely answered. Using this service was absolutely the right step for me. It saved me the hassle of transporting the packed bicycle and all my luggage, and I will definitely use them again.

I bought an XL box from this company…
I bought an XL box from this company that was delivered on time. Then I booked for the box to be collected on Friday 24th of May. I explained that I needed the collection on that day, or latest by lunchtime the following day.
I was contacted by my friend who was sending me the bike on the Friday around 5pm. He told me that DHL had come to collect, but the XL box would not fit in his van. The driver promised to return with a truck by 3pm and never showed up.
When I spoke to the ChatBox ‘Pippa Bell’ she apologised and said they would look into this. At her request I also sent an email and explained what had happened and stating the bike needed to be collected by lunchtime the next day as my friends were travelling for the next three weeks and then I would be away.
I was told DHL do not do collections on Saturday, which is not true, DHL offer a premium Saturday service.
Bikebox then offered to rebook a collection for the next working week and I again explained that my friends were going on holiday and the following week was not possible.
It has been 10 days now and there has been no further contact from Bikebox. Soon I will start a recovery process through the small claims tribunal.
Bikebox should have been on the phone straight away to DHL and insisted on a Saturday collection. If the fault was with DHL, they should have asked for the upgraded service for free. If Bikebox ordered the wrong delivery (did not book an XL box), Bikebox should have paid the additional fees.
Bikebox should certainly have come back to me with a solution and not just ignored my emails.
I really caution everyone about using this company!

Decent bike box to take bike by plane
I bought a bike box to take my bike to Spain by plane, the partially dismantled bike fitted well with some room to add some other things. I added the bubble wrap and tape to the order and was enough to protect the bike. The handles are strong enough to take the bike to airport but they eventually rip when they’ve been handled by airport staff but the box still intact. When I got to Spain the box was waiting in the special luggage belt still intact and my bike was too.
Stay well away
Stay well away!! I used this company on 2 occasions, and I don't know why I used them the second time after the first experience. Very incoherent and non-transparent management of pricing initially through "Pippa Bell" the online chat assistant. Clearly managed by different people, some more polite than others, but very unclear rushed communication and extremely unhelpful when confronted with problem-solving. Last time I spent three days waiting for the courier same happened this time and as it stands I'm currently leaving the country waiting for the box to be collected and have spent three days sitting looking out of the window as they continue to promise me that the courier was coming. They came back to me saying the courier came past and asked us if our doorbell was working!! Hahaha.... I don't know if SendBike or DHL is to blame, but the customer service and support with the issues that arose were absolutely scandalous!! Stay away from this company and I don't know how they can possibly survive if they manage their service consistently badly.
Super helpful people, bike arrived quicker than expected

Do not use this company
I had paid for a service to get a E-Bike transported form Glous to Berwick-On-Tweed England, because they would not ship to my home address in Scotland due to the battery in the bike being dangerous goods & can't be flown if it is in the bike.
I asked their online chat first if they could ship to an alternative post code & they said they could.
Their courier then rejected the consignment at the hub in the east midlands!
Now they are telling me they were lied to by their courier & the E-Bike is now in the couriers depot ready to be sent back to the collection adress!
The company took on the job knowing the address after having lengthy chats on there online chat.
Send bike are taking no responsibility for their part in this & are blaming DHL. it is down to send bikes incompetence that I will have to go to some that can do the job.
All this could have been avoided if they knew what they were doing.
As the title says do not use send bike.

An all round great experience
An all round great experience. The boxes I received for sending bike frames are great quality and they come nicely packed down so can be stowed away. Also the next day delivery is a must for me so really happy. This is my 3rd order and I will continue to use them whilst sending bikes/frames.
2 1/2 weeks and still waiting …
Still waiting for my bike box delivery that I ordered and paid for on the 14 April. Today is 2 May, no reply to my email chasing it last Tuesday , online chat said to send email. Then told me to speak to them tomorrow. Absolute joke of how long the delivery time is and their customer service .

Great customer service & super fast shipping!
Their customer support and delivery times are excellent! I did a house move and was needing some extra boxes and shipping materials in a hurry. I was able to get on the chat and connect with a real person (!!!) right away, who quickly answered all my questions and recommended the correct size boxes I would need. They arrived the next day, and the expedited shipping fee wasn't exorbitant at all (unlike Amazon). Overall, these guys were great! Very highly recommended!
