Expired Return Codes and Useless Customer Service!

On August 28, I purchased a product from Ninja and to this day I have not been able to return it! Every single return code they sent me was expired.
This has been the WORST customer service experience of my life. The staff were absolutely unhelpful and showed zero cooperation. If you think there is even the slightest chance you may want to return your product, DO NOT ever buy from Ninja!

Robot works/cleans well enough overall

Robot works/cleans well enough overall, but dies quickly and takes a while (couple hours) to recharge to finish the remainder of the floor.

Additionally the app doesn’t save changes to your room layout, and doesn’t let you set a schedule to clean specific rooms more often (I.e. the kitchen, near the cat litter). You can only schedule it to clean your entire house (which doesn’t help if you have to constantly pick up kids and pet toys that it’ll get stuck on).

Terrible service and constant deception!

I purchased a vacuum during a promotion where a robot vacuum was supposed to be included as a free gift. The gift never arrived. For over a month I have been contacting customer support, but instead of solving the issue, they have given me nothing but excuses and misleading information.

The first time I called, they apologized and promised to ship a replacement robot vacuum within 3–5 days. A week passed — no updates at all.

The second time, they claimed the robot was “out of stock” and offered me $100 (20% of my purchase) instead of the product, even though the robot costs about $300 and their own website shows it as “in stock.” I refused, but they went ahead and issued the $100 refund without my consent, then hung up on me.

The third time, after speaking with a manager, they placed a new order and again promised quick delivery. But the very next day, someone logged into my account, canceled the order, changed my password, and my phone number was blocked from calling customer service.

I had to call from a different number just to reach support again, but even then the order was never actually shipped.

Instead of resolving the issue, Shark has repeatedly lied to me, canceled orders from my account without permission, changed my password, and even blocked my phone number from reaching them. This is absolutely unacceptable.

It seems Shark is happy to hand out free products in exchange for positive reviews or even pay for them, but when it comes to honoring real promotions for real customers, they simply cheat and ignore you.

⚠️ Think a thousand times before ordering from Shark. If you run into any issues, you may face the same dishonest and abusive treatment I experienced.

Appalling customer service

From what I thought was a reputable company I have experienced some of the worst customer service I have come across. Ordered the product and twice I was advised deliveries were arranged but both failed to turn up and the company claimed they were delivered. I raised a complaint and requested a refund but was told that wasn’t possible as the failed deliveries needed to be investigated. I was told I would have to wait a further 6-9 business days. I then received an email saying a second replacement order had been raised despite me not even agreeing to this. I advised I was expecting compensation for such poor service to which I received a reply to say the replacement was cancelled and a refund requested which could take up to 5 days to show up. Diabolical and I’ll never use this scam company again. Be warned!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Purchased the Shark PowerDetect™ 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with NeverTouch™ Pro Base , on 4/25. WHAT AN $850 MISTAKE, had issues from day one. would not vac or mop my 10 x 10 room without running out of power. Got a new battery. Kinda worked for a while now; the mop pad will NOT GET WET, will NOT EMPTY WATER, will NOT FILL WITH WATER, and then for 2 days it says its drying the pad. today is 9/22; 5 months later. Called says they can only help me if I video every thing. HOW DO YOU DO THAT WITH A LANDLINE OR A FLIP PHONE? (I'M 71 NOT 21)

Paid but No Product and delayed Refund

I have now recieved my refund. It took way too long and I had several contacts to the company before it happened.

I been in contact with their customer support several times.
The company agreed to refund the amount I paid to my account/credit card, but despite their promise, no refund has been made—even though I reached out again twice - on September 11 and on September 16, 2025.

They have taken my payment, failed to deliver the product, and have not returned my money.

This feels like fraud.

I called Ninja customer service…

I called Ninja customer service yesterday feeling so frustrated and heartbroken because I ruined my Ninja DCT401 12-in-1 Double Oven..my dream oven. I was even in tears during the call.

That’s why I want to sincerely thank your customer service associate, Yulhansel. He is truly one of a kind. His patience, understanding, and comforting words helped ease the heavy, depressing situation I was going through. He didn’t just assist me with the steps I needed to take but he also gave me the reassurance and compassion I really needed in that moment.

Because of his effort, I felt heard, cared and supported. He absolutely deserves a 10 out of 10 review for his outstanding service.

Thank you again for having such a remarkable person on your team. He turned one of my most frustrating experiences into something I can now look back on with gratitude.

Pathetic service and customer care. They gave false information about ninja crisp air fryer and also said that they will refund 10% post i place the order as due to some technical glitch the code wasn’t getting sent to the user account.
Now they dont even respond to emails.

I can't rate this company low enough

I have several Shark/Ninja products including an air fryer, a kettle, and a vacuum cleaner.

I have major issues with both the vacuum cleaner and the kettle. I first attempted to contact Ninja about the kettle and have been completely fobbed off by them. They want me to take part in a phone call despite me reiterating that I don't need to do that. They are demanding that I take part in troubleshooting exercises which have already been completed. They are completely and utterly ignoring any further requests for help or a replacement if my faulty product.

I'll have to file andhargeback on both the kettle and the vacuum cleaner as they are just so against the idea of providing customer service.

disappointing experience with SharkNinja’s customer support

I’m writing this after a painfully disappointing experience with SharkNinja’s customer support regarding my SP100 Series Foodi Air Fryer Oven. The appliance started acting up—its control button stopped working—so I reached out to the “Consumer Experience” team hoping for a quick fix.

What followed was a marathon of frustration:

Generic Apology, No Solution – The first email from Rebecca politely apologized and told me to call a toll‑free number, insisting the issue couldn’t be solved by email. That alone felt dismissive, but I was willing to give them a chance.

Hour‑Long Phone Call, Zero Resolution – I spent over an hour on the phone with a representative, walking through every possible troubleshooting step. Nothing worked. At the end of the call, I was handed two unsatisfying options: pay for a repair myself or accept a 30 % discount on a brand‑new oven. Neither option addressed the fact that the product I already own is defective.

Empty Promises – After the call, I received a follow‑up from John, who again apologized and said they “wish there was more we could do.” He hinted that maybe someday they’d earn back my trust, but offered no concrete remedy. It feels like a polite brush‑off rather than genuine accountability.

Overall, the whole process left me feeling ignored, undervalued, and completely burned out on a brand I once loved. I invested time, patience, and money, only to be handed a half‑hearted discount that doesn’t compensate for the hassle or the broken appliance.

Bottom line: If you’re looking for reliable customer service and a company that stands behind its products, think twice before buying a SharkNinja appliance. My trust in the brand is shattered, and I won’t be purchasing anything else from them. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Poor quality

I bought the Ninja Foodi MAX 15-in-1 SmartLid Multi Cooker with high expectations, but it has not lasted. After less than a year of occasional family use, the inner pot rim deteriorated badly and the air frying basket’s coating started chipping. This raised concerns about safety and quality. When I contacted Ninja, they refused to take responsibility, saying my retailer was not ‘authorised’, despite the product being genuine. For such an expensive cooker, this is disappointing. Be cautious if you expect durability and proper after-sales support.

Avoid untrustworthy company

Recently traded in and replaced an Airfryer. Was advised trade in would be £30.
Just received payment after nearly a month and only £15 paid.
Machine was returned intact and working order as per T&C.
Avoid this company customer service is woeful. No one interested in taking responsibility and being accountable just pass the buck.
If this promotion was designed to bring back repeat custom and it has had a completely opposite effect I will never be purchasing the products from this company again.

Do not buy

Do not buy! Vacuum did not work, after a long phone call and trouble shooting was told to email video proof, did that and had to wait weeks for a reply, to be told 'sorry, high volume of calls and emails, and had a communication backlog.' (apparently a lot of people seem to be having trouble with their products) and asked for more video proof now of everything I did during the trouble shooting, as well as to prove there are no blockages on a brand new unused product. Never buying from this company again, simply because it's too hard to get a faulty product replaced or refunded, with their delayed responses.

Payment Taken, No Refund – Very Disappointed

I had a very disappointing experience with this SharkNinja I tried to make a purchase through their website by Swish and the payment was taken from my bank account, but the order was never registered. I contacted customer service, and although I was told the refund would be processed within 5–10 working days, it has now been longer and I still haven’t received my money back.

The lack of proper communication and the delay in refunding my payment has been extremely frustrating. I expected much better reliability and customer support.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Ordering process and support

I ordered a Ninja air-fryer oven and was promised next day delivery. Nothing arrived and I had to contact them everyday until I got someone to deliver a second Ninja air-fryer as the original order had not arrived after 6 days. I then received 2 items and was informed that I need to take the second one to the post office to return. I have refused to do this and suggested that they collect it.
Staff need further training as some of them contradicted previous staff.

Shark Ninja australia has the worst customer service

April 25 - enquired about spare part for foodi power nutri duo.
May 25 - order online, part sold out, registered for when back in stock
May 29 - in stock, order and pay
June 3 - system had triggered an incorrect "in stock email"
June item placed on back order
July - told item not available until August
August - enquire about part - not available now until October.
6 months waiting for a part. I ask for replacement of whole item. Told no. Terrible service. In fact the worst ever seen in australia.
dont buy their products if you expect an after service. I will never buy their products again

Poor Customer Service

Rang up re faulty pan in early June. They said would send out a replacement. First one went missing in the post from evri so contacted them again then they sent one which was worse than the first one. Contacted them again and they said they'd send one out.
About a month later I had an email that said order had been cancelled. How can you cancel an order for a replacement lol.

I've had to rung a further 2 times and they said they'd be in touch with 48 hours. Total waste of time with customer services. So now stuck with 2 worthless frying pans
