Awful customer service.
Waited 10 days for what should have been next day and still failed to turn up so cancelled the order and purchased from else where. The next day the item was out for delivery with DPD!
Customer service told me to reject parcel which I did, now 9 days later they still haven't issued refund!!
Disgraceful!!
If I don't hear anything within the next 48 hours I will be escalating with MasterCard!

Great product - poor service. Next day delivery advertised. After chasing product arrival, was told to expect a wait of 7 days, no apology or email

Don't expect any warranty out of Shark in the UK even though they claim they will give a 5 year warranty.
IF (and it's a BIG if) you actually get someone who speaks English properly and can string a sentence together (and that refers to people who are both based in the UK and based offshore) in their outsourced call centres, they will claim things are not covered due to "Wear and Tear" which actually means "We can determine ourselves when we honour our marvellous sounding warranty.”

In my experience this was an accessory holder that snapped with normal use, and then a brush roller that wore out within the 5 years warranty and couldn’t be replaced under warranty. Our only choice was to pay. Shark wouldn’t replace either under warranty, and couldn’t replace the brush roller as
a) It was never sold as a spare part (similar parts are available for less than £20 from shark)
b) Came as part of a whole sub-assembly that costs £55 that there was no stock of.
Because they don’t hold stock of “spares” for more than a few years, (or because that part had already worn out for loads of other customers) they then (after several hours of email and phone calls to India, Columbia and the UK, and an email to their US based UK managing director FINALLY put someone forward who a) works for the company and b) takes responsibility.
Their solution – Pay the price of the brush roller assembly (yes £55) and get a whole new vacuum cleaner. Anything from the range.

Now some people may think that’s a deal, but me, I’m reluctant to buy any more products that are built to a budget, and to a quality that doesn’t last a reasonable period. Also where a manufacturers last resort of customer service is to offer a heavily discounted new product because of a poor spare part policy and stockholding that doesn’t result in any customer loyalty.

I don’t want to contribute to landfill and generating more plastic waste, and I don’t want to support manufacturers who sell products that have poor customer service, poor after sales warranty and poor spare parts policies. So Shark, you must do better. It was a journey I won’t be taking again.

PS This is a confirmed purchase via a link sent to me my Shark. While Trustpilot may wish to takedown or neutralise my review, (as they have done before with another manufacturer) this is an honest and truthful review.

Delivery was quick, I find the hoover heavy and awkward to manoeuvre and the height of the handle is too long, the lead is 2 metres to short from what I’m used to and I have to empty the cylinder after every use. Love the lights and the lift away for the stairs.

I am so very pleased that I made the choice to pick a shark cleaner I had already done the carpets and when my new shark cleaner came I could not resist putting my shark to the test and I was so surprised just how much was in the dust compartment it was a quarter full I will definitely tell people how good shark cleaners are

Great performance on carpets and hard floors. The only downside is that it is quite heavy to manoeuvre.

Delivery was well within the window given.

Very happy so far. good quality, picks up bits on the carpet. At ease. The lights on the upright are really good

A week after ordering still no hoover, haven’t had any confirmation of when it will be delivered.

Only had the shark a few days so a little reluctant to say how it performs but it was a quick and simple transaction arriving the very next day

Amazing suction can’t fault it , easy to assemble and move around

Love it, it’s powerful and much quieter than my old vax, and I am very pleased with the car accessories too.

I order the carpet clean from the Shark website. It was so easy to order, pay for and was delivered within 72hrs. Great produce. I have 6 cats and 2 dogs and the cleaner does what it said in the tin, Easy to put together and all recyclable package.

Saw this on offer on the shark website for 199 quid read some reviews and decided (even though it's not the most aesthetically pleasing vacuum , looks only a mother could love) to buy it. It's very impressive, couldn't believe the amount of extra dust it pulled out of the carpets , the powered liftaway is mint for stairs,early days yet but it seems well built. Mine came with an air powered pet brush and a car detailing kit , very handy.

Quick update after a few uses , the anti hair wrap technology most definitely does not work, unfortunately there doesn't seem a way to post up pictures of just how much it doesn't work!

Absolutely brilliant I wouldn't use any other brand of vacuum
