Shark Uprights UK Reviews 

We have a rechargeable Shark cleaner, but we have had nothing but issues with it. We purchased a Shark corded vacuum cleaner as a replacement for the above and have found it a delight to use and own. Everything is better than the cordless model and it feels so much sturdy and it does a brilliant job of cleaning our home. The design is really well thought out and very easy to you. Much more suction at a really good price with a 5year guarantee. Really pleased with it

I bought a Duo Clean and it pretty much fell apart, the base cracked under normal use, then electrical contacts become exposed and I received an electric shock, so really poor build quality! No problem though, as I had a 5-year warranty! Or so I thought! After two weeks of back and forth with their customer support, they finally wanted the hoover back for inspection and said that it would cost me £15 to do so, and they said it was damaged and that isn't covered by the warranty, so probably wouldn't fix it! Please if you are considering a product from Shark read the reviews of people who have used them for a while and you will see they are not up to scratch, just buy the Dyson, I have reverted back to my 12 year old one that still works..

The Shark Upright I have was excellent, possibly the best Vaccum cleaner I have ever had...

However once it broke down Shark were unable to get a replacement part and offered a replacement clener, provided I could find a cleaner sized box to return my existing unit too them. After 3 days of searching my house, friends houses and local shops to no avail I contacted Shark and said this was not possible. The did escilate my complaint saying that they could sent out one first and then I could return it but one day later they said they couldn't.

This has rendered the warranty worthless and I am not likely to buy or recomend shark products to anyone as a result.

Cleaner Colledted By DPD on Monday, Arrived at Shark on Tuesday. Shark Promised that the replacement would be sent out as soon as the old one was booked into their warehouse, It hasn't I have been told three times that they would get the replacement approved. At this moment I am escilating this issue again.

Arrived quickly, easy to assemble. A little heavy to use but worth it to get a good clean. Easy to empty.

Absolutely brilliant hoover & excellent service

Its excellent the suction is brilliant my carpet looks clean and bright obviously my dyson didn’t not have the suction like this. Also wooden floors pick up everything. Hovered my sofa could not believe how much dust it picked up.

Would definitely recommend even though it’s quite heavy I’m in my 60s and manage.

Beats my Dyson cordless hands down. Great power on all surfaces, much quieter than my old vacuum cleaner a competitive price and speedy delivery too. Win win!

Previously had a shark cordless which I loved. This is a lot heavier but my carpets look great. The lift away is light and practical for stairs etc. I have long hair which was forever a problem with my cordless but this lift away is great. Deals with the hair & my carpets haven't looked this good in a long time. I'm impressed.

I absolutely love it! Wish I'd bought one years ago. Well worth the money. The amount of dust it gets up is amazing.

Absolutely excellent, a bit on the heavy side but will get used to it. The suction is brilliant we are in a new home only 6 months could not believe the dirt and dust it collected.

My new Shark vacuum cleaner was delivered the next day, really well packaged. Easy to assemble and very impressive performance. This is the first Shark I've purchased, prior to that I always had Sebo.....glad I made the change, with 2 very hairy cats the Sharks making housework so much easier. I highly recommend!

Brilliant cleaner, tools are easy to change, drum easy to empty, picks up all of the dog hair.

Order by 8pm for next day delivery... 3 days later it turns up and it's the wrong item.

A phone call later and promised they would be in contact next morning to confirm collection and replacement at the same time but hear nothing. Emailed and it takes another day to hear back... collection next day but can't replace and will take up to 4 days to send out another. Not sure how new orders can claim next day but a replacement for their error takes 4 days.

So I'm a week later and still not got what I ordered and probably another 4 days still to wait... assuming it's right this time.

Also, I ordered through Sharkuprights but the emails are from Sharkclean where the price is different so if you do want to gamble and order with them I'd check across both...

very pleased with the hoover, powerful pick up and easy to use up the stairs etc, and the hair wrap is brilliant as I do have a long haired dog, I've always brought a Dyson, but I found that the hair was always clogging the brushes, so I decided to try the shark product and folks its fantastic

It’s heavy but it’s heavy duty and really does the job would recommend
