Presently, Shaws operates 15 stores in the main provincial towns of Ireland and employs almost 1000 people. We remain a family-run business, with many Shaw family members work in various positions throughout the company. Velvet curtains

Would have been a quicker delivery only storm stop that but it was worth the wait, curtains are of excellent quality and value for money and better again when you get them at sale price..

Shaw Delivery

Re: delivery address update immediately following my online purchase.
After many emails, automated replies, trust pilot one star evaluation and two Shaw responses, my goods , as advised (twice) this am, (16th Jan) are heading to the wrong address.

Visited this new store again yesterday…

Visited this new Athlone store again yesterday and have to say that I was not impressed. I had been expecting it to be far more like the Portlaoise shop and was disappointed that the lighting and fixtures were a bit bland. Few nice pieces of ladies clothing and not too busy when I was in there. Overall, not what I had expected, but the staff were very friendly.

Shaws need to address their dispatch…

Shaws need to address their dispatch issues or stop offering online service. This store shows very little respect to their customers by accepting orders and taking the funds in advance when they cannot dispatch orders in a timely manner especially at this time of year when delivery companies are stretched to their limit….3 to 5 days or in some instances even more is totally unreasonable

Poor Online Delivery Service

Love this department store generations of my family have shopped here but you’re getting 1/5 star ⭐️ review for the online delivery service. It’s terrible I could’ve walked into town to pick up the items I ordered online, I’m very busy with Christmas preparations but I would expect a faster delivery especially to a customer living a mile away from the store with local post - not DPD.

Items ordered becoming unavailable a week after ordering.

Hi, I placed an order online on 26th November. On 27th, I was informed that 2of the 5 santa duvet sets that I had ordered were not available and remaining items were ready to be packed and sent to me. Fair enough. 5 days later again, I'm informed that the remaining 3 duvet sets are not now available! Today, a week after placing my order, I'm told (again!) that 'it looks like' the remaining items in my order is ready to be packed and sent to me!
I have shopped in your stores for years and this is my first time shopping online with Shaws. It will also be my last.

Long Queues, Poor Staff Management, Poor Customer Service

Its 1pm on Saturday and Shaws put 2 untrained girls on the till. Long queue. My mother has a poor hip and had to stand an wait. all they needed was another person to help. If something was wrong then one of the girls would leave the till. no one to call. When we finally get to the till we request the manager who returns with another girl in hand. So Paul already knew there is a problem with getting customers served efficiently. Customers time is just as important. Wannbe Manager Paul you can do with some serious customer service training, so you can train your staff. Shaws you want to up your game for Christmas.
