Wendy was very helpful in getting the faulty doors replaced, free of charge.

I needed a little bbq shed so decided to use one website as a one stop shop to keep things simple. Big mistake!
I chose the shed plus a timber base but was unsure how to support everything as the ground is a bit uneven so gave them a ring. I explained the size of the shed and the base and they told me the best solution was the Quick Jack floor levelling system. So on their advice I ordered all three.
Unfortunately after assembling the base I tried to use the floor levelling kit but it didn’t fit. The brackets were the wrong size for the timbers. I called them and was told I would have to buy the correct brackets and they would send them. I explained I had already paid for the kit and they had supplied the wrong brackets so they should just supply the correct ones. They were adamant I had to pay extra so I decided to send the kit back. They then said I would have to pay the postage which would be £36! I quoted the Consumer Rights Act which states if something is faulty or not fit for purpose the postage should be paid by the seller. They wouldn’t budge, claiming that as I ordered the item it was my fault it wasn’t compatible with the timber base, even though it was the one they recommended. They accepted no responsibility at all and have customers over a barrel. £36 to return is also a con. After I paid to return it there was a mix up which meant it wasn’t collected. I then had to pay again to post it which this time cost me £11, so £36 that they charged is daylight robbery.
The quality of the shed is also very average. It has been up for a couple of months and the nails in the panels are already rusting.
Please do not touch this company. Do yourself a favour and go to your local garden centre. It might be a few more quid but for the peace of mind it’s definitely worth it.

Unfortunately I had a really unhelpful experience with this Company. My order was lost somehow and I waited in all day but the delivery never arrived. Despite my having an email confirmation and being told when I rang to check on the day of the order that everything was confirmed.
To add insult to injury when I contacted them I was told that there had been a problem with their payment system, the order hadn't gone through, they were aware of this but they hadn't bothered to tell me.
It did arrive eventually, a week late, but I had wasted a lot of time waiting in plus the time I had kept clear over a weekend for shed building
I asked for some compensation and was offered the derisory amount of £5. Really poor service = I won't be using them again. You can't trust them

Where do I start! Vital missing information led to two deliveries of a 450kg pallet of shed that I had to send away as there was nowhere for it to be stored. I’d bought and paid upfront for a delivery with installation to coincide. I would NOT have done this had I known otherwise. I made myself perfectly clear in the first place. The same delivery driver came twice and was so kind and understanding saying that this often happens! He took the delivery back immediately on both occasions. Another chap came to collect a few days later!!! Similarly helpful but utterly exasperated.

PHONE WAS NEVER ANSWERED and after 5 consecutive days trying I went to Stratford. James could see that I was exasperated and to be fair he offered an immediate refund. He said the chap who’d sold me the shed had only been there for 2 weeks. Nice as he was, I suggested that he needed further and effective training. James assured me as I left and he followed me out of the office that he was immediately going to process the refund. Several chaser emails led to Wendy saying that James has no refunding authority! I have just received my refund, 26 days after the order was cancelled!!!! Sheds look nice but in my experience the process was an utter shambles and very stressful not only for me but the poor chap on deliveries and the other one sent to collect something that I didn’t have. There was a substantial charge to site and assemble the shed but I had no choice but it took Rachel a week to reply to emails she’d sent asking for all sorts of information so I had no idea if the area in my garden was to their approval. Her response email was polite but far too much time lag. Given the financial layout, I’d advise people to think very carefully before proceeding.

By stark contrast I then happily found a local chap who built a superb very high quality shed. He offers a bespoke service so you get precisely what you want rather than having to slot into the one size fits all availability at Sheds.co.uk. He also supplied and fitted shelves that I particularly wanted. He didn’t take a penny until he’d built, delivered and erected the shed to my approval. I wish I’d found him first. I cannot express how high the quality of his work is and how stress free his service is.

For me Sheds.co.uk will NOT be a company I’d ever use or recommend. I’d give no stars if that was an option.

I rang up with a query, and found Ben both knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I ordered on a Friday morning, and the shed was here the following Monday morning. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

We ordered an Apex shed and once the pallet was delivered and unpacked, noticed that some of the parts had issues (one side panel was chipped from the nails used to secure them on the pallet, the door was split on one of the sides).
The issue was reported to James (Sales Manager) and together with Wendy Shepherd (Head of Operations) they resolved the issue by organising with the manufacturer to send us replacement parts.

I ordered a shed but had to cancel it as my housing association was imposing impossible conditions on its erection.
Everyone I spoke to at sheds.co were very cooperative and Ben was extremely helpful in processing my refund without delay. Well, within 15 days but still…
