Nick did a beautiful job of re-tinning my copper sauté pan. His instructions and pricing were clear and the pan was delivered quickly once complete. It's a pleasure to use, and so nice to know it's being appreciated by at least its third owner!

Excellent restorative work carried out on family copper and brass pots, preserving pans and a planter that are all over 100 years old.

Nick from Sherwood Tinning has looked after my pans for many years now. I have a collection of 28 pans, most of them have been to Nick for refurbishment and personal initials stamped on. Four have just been returned to me, the only thing is that they look to good to be used. When I sent them a couple of weeks ago they looked a sorry sight but look at them now.

My copper pan returned to me today and was nearly unrecognisable it was so beautifully retinned and polished. I am looking forward to using it once again. The communication from Nick has been superb from my initial enquiry to his final email telling me my pan was nearly on its way. His very clear instructions on packing my pan to send it to Sherwood were very helpful, as were the website's instructions on how to measure my pan to get a quick estimate of cost. When my second copper pan needs a new life, I won't hesitate to contact Sherwood Tinning Ltd.

I had an old small butter warming pan re-tinned. All the blemishes were removed, the new lining looks to be of exceptional quality and the pan look better than new! Superb job. Also, helpful & courteous service.

Sherwood Tinning has performed magic on a much used, loved pan. The service was impeccable especially as, instead of being picked up as planned , it had to be put in the post!
