Great fast service

Were easy to deal with over the phone and gave me a fast quote for what i needed moved. Also they put our stuff in storage for a week and moved it out a week later with no problem.

BEWARE OF AUTO-PAY

Beware of letting them charge your credit card automatically. They overcharged me on storage and have yet to return a call or an email to credit my account.

Be aware - they say they charge based on volume of what is being moved - bait and switch - it is also based on day of the week. BEWARE.

They said they would be at my new residence at 8am with my stuff - they didn't show until 12:30pm.

The movers themselves were great. Too bad they have to work for a company that doesn't deserve the,

Amazingly professional and careful, These guys are are the real deal!

This was the best experience I have had with any moving company ever. They were extremely professional protected and wrapped every piece of furniture, broke down the furniture appropriately for wrapping, were super nice and took care in delivering and placing the furniture into our new home. I would recommend them 100 times out of 100.

Shleppers Moving and Storage

They worked with me all the way, went above and beyond in customer service, on time, efficient, and reasonably priced. All of the three movers spoke English, which was helpful to me. There was no damage, no breakage, and it was the best move possible.

Polite, prompt and great attitude from the sales guy to the movers.

These guys showed up on time, worked hard, offered to set everything up the way I wanted it. On top of it, they were positive and got me in and out quicker than they anticipated. Of course, with every great crew, you might have some duds. But this company gets my vote for next time I move.

Late arrival with no telephone call to inform me.

Your movers, Mitch and Peter, were the most efficient workmen and the most pleasant we could have met. However, they arrived 3 hours late due to truck problems. The office should have called at 8AM when they knew there was a problem. Instead, I made four calls to your office before I could be contacted with a manager, to the chagrin of the dispatcher. As a result this move cost me another $100 for a rescheduling of another service as well as another day's parking garage fee. I really have to think twice before I schedule the final move in a few months. Jeannette DeAngelis

Excellent review

Our movers were hard working courteous and conscientious - they put in a very long day in 100 degree weather - never slowed down - never complained - just pleasantly finished the job. Would highly recommend them

Awesome

Shleppers was extremely professional, addressed every concern and made the stressful process of moving as pleasant as possible. All of the movers were courteous and respectful of all of our stuff. They moved two trucks worth of stuff on a 95 degree day for me and my 8 month pregnant wife without any issues.

Dispatch Problems

Had an afternoon move scheduled from a storage facility to an apartment. They gave a great price compared to other moving companies, so I decided to give them a try after a recommendation from a friend. My movers were scheduled to arrive at the storage facility between 2-4PM. I called dispatch at 1PM to make sure the driver would call me 30 mins prior to arrival so I could make my way over to the storage unit (so the movers wouldn't have to wait for me to get there). The dispatcher told me that the drivers were parked around the corner from the storage facility so they should be ready to go at 2PM. I asked him if he was sure, because I would be there at 2PM, and he said yes, definitely, I am looking at the truck now that is parked around the corner. I was there at 2PM, and by 2:15, still no word from the drivers. I called dispatch back, and after 5 minutes of being on hold, I was told that they were still on a lunch break and they would be there in 25 minutes (around 2:45PM). I was annoyed at this point, because I was just sitting in my car at the storage facility waiting, when I could have been at my apartment doing things. Then at 2:45PM, I get a call from the driver saying that he's about 20 minutes away!!! WHAT?! I know this is not the driver's fault because he didn't know that dispatch told me to be there at 2PM, but I was very frustrated because I now waited an hour because of the dispatcher's mistake. Once the movers got there, everything went smoothly and quickly, but the whole experience of waiting prior to that put a bad taste in my mouth.

Slow moving

We spent close to $8,000 (not including tips) for our overall move with Shleppers. The first three stages of the move was the same crew and they were amazing. The last crew we had run by Cellillo (sp) was vastly different. They showed up exhausted to our 1-3 timeslot at 3:15. Since we were paying by the hour they were incredibly slow moving and I caught them standing around chatting in various rooms on multiple occasions. I had to ask them to stop chatting and play keep working we have a lot to do. The foreman Cellillo refused to take the wardrobe boxes and TV boxes at first even though we were initially told that was the plan. He told me they don't reuse the wardrobes and that's "a lot of work for him". I had to call our supervisor on a Sunday to confirm they take the boxes. He kept referring to his tip and that his guys needed more money for things. He was unhelpful, gave a lot of backtalk and overall acted very entitled. Boxes and furniture ended up in the wrong rooms. He made us so uncomfortable we just wanted them to leave. My husband and I spent the remainder of the night moving boxes from the third floor down through the house because they didn't even get to the boxes we had up here. We wanted them to unpack but they were so slow we couldn't do it. The other crewwmbers were nice but BC their foreman was a poor example we did not get the same quality experience we had during our first few days of packing, moving out, unpacking into the garage. This was a far cry from the driven hard working team we had before.
