I purchased Steelcase's flagship chair the Gesture for $2000, and after 6 months the threads on the fabric started coming loose. They informed me that this is "normal wear and tear" and they can't do... See more

The chair is comfortable and supportive, easy enough to assemble as well. I’d recommend it for a home office or as an alternative to a gaming chair. However the freight company used in West Aus sucks,... See more

Basically satisfied

Basically satisfied, except that it feels a bit hot when sitting compared to HM Aeron. This chair is not suitable for subtropical areas.

Great chair but don't pay for assembly

Great chair but don't pay for assembly

Got the chair delivered, they wanted to charge us $50 to assemble it. Honestly, it's a rip-off. It's putting two bits together. Do not pay for assembly.
Otherwise, very comfy chair, very adaptable, highly recommend.

Steelcase Leap

The Steelcase Leap chair is a game-changer when it comes to office seating. Its ergonomic design and adjustable features provide excellent support and comfort for long hours of sitting. The chair's build quality is top-notch. With its intuitive adjustments and customisable settings, the Leap chair adapts to your body, promoting proper posture and reducing strain on your back. It is a worthwhile investment for your overall well-being and productivity for the office and when working from home. I have colleagues mention good things when they sit in my chair when I am not at work.

Startrack issues

The chair I bought from you is perfect but my issue is with Startrack for a rural delivery. Their service is consistently appalling and they will not deliver to a rural address. Rather, they message to say no-one was home and it has been taken to a (not my local) post office.

I would love for you to consider using an alternative courier so that when you commit to delivering to my door it will actually happen.

Great product, perfunctory and impersonal service

The product almost sells itself - the chairs are expensive, but they're also very good chairs (best I've ever sat in, and feels good after a month for my not-so-good back).
Showroom hours locally are only 9-5 M-F, which is crazy for a large company that heavily gates the buying experience.
The experience may be very different for corporate or large order customers, but for individual customers you basically get an email on ordering saying 'we'll contact you to arrange delivery' and then another communication saying 'we're delivering in 2 days'. There's no 'arranging delivery', no personal contact at all - which maybe should be the minimum for a chair close to $2,000 in price.
Great chair, smooth overall experience, but a 100% impersonal experience, which is very odd for such a personal product.

No tracking number

No tracking number. I had to follow up with customer service for updates. Box and rubbish left when chair got delivered. Chair was squeeking with some bolts loose. Plastic was left between base and chair so had to be pulled apart again to remove.
