Very good service

Really happy with how helpful they were, received a week after ordering direct to the garage and the instructions for returning my broken part were very clear. Only thing I would say is that they started chasing up the return a day after I received it when it says you have 2 weeks.

Sales person was well informed and very helpful in guiding me to the correct part for my vehicle. The price was very competitive compared to other suppliers and despatch and collection was very quick.

My steering rack went on my 20grand Audi q5 and the Audi specialists said this crew in England is very good at refurbishing steering racks… I contacted them and give them my fault codes and they were 100percent sure with the codes I had given them that it was my steering rack.. they sent a box out to the house within 2 days and I put my rack inside the box. Cost me £700 which I thought was pretty decent as a new rack from Audi is like 3 grand..
I waited 3 weeks until I had it back as these guys are very busy but I didn’t mind the wait as when I got my steering rack fitted in my q5 it was like a brand new car… steering so sensitive now.. I totally recommend these guys as they are professionals on what they do..

Last January I purchased a Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 Steering Box after hearing WPS recommended quite a few times.

The first box I received had the incorrect pitman arm fitted, and badly leaked immediately as soon as installed. I contacted WPS and they were, to their credit, very helpful and offered to send replacement box out with the correct pitman.

The second box arrived, still with the incorrect pitman arm and, while it didn't leak, this one jammed and locked in position when turning left meaning I'd have to wrench the steering wheel to free it again.
Once again, I contacted WPS and they were helpful. Once again offering to send out a replacement box, triple checking the correct pitman arm.

I received a third box, this time with the correct pitman arm! But now this one has a huge loose spot when turning left, as if the steering box internals completely disconnect and then take up again. The adjustment screw barely moves in either direction before binding up, and it has now started to leak as well.

I don't off-road my car at all, it gets bog standard use. I've given up getting a working box now as I have fitted 3 of them in the space of a month each awful quality costing me time and money each time.

I have strangely noticed that on their Ebay store they sell a "Gold Standard" version of the steering box (which doesn't appear in the webstore) that I bought for almost twice the price, so I do wonder if that's the one that actually works...

After receiving 3 steering boxes from Wester Power Steering each of shocking quality I cannot in anyway recommend them. I have given up, but I was recently asked my experience by someone else looking for a refurbished steering box so I thought I should share my experience in case it helps anyone else.

Took over a week to arrive, also been ringing daily multiple times to arrange collection as they stay if not returned within 2 weeks there will be a charge of £50. But yet cant get hold of then to arrange collection.

Really good service, helpful on the phone, prompt delivery and collection was easy to arrange. 5 stars, nice to deal with a company offering quality and service.
