Order not delivered, waiting 1+ months
I placed an order with Shop4Runners over a month ago, and I still haven’t received it. The tracking shows the parcel arrived in the UK around three weeks ago, but there have been no updates since.
When I contacted Shop4Runners for help, I was told to speak to the local postal service myself, even though the parcel was sent from Germany. I then spent nearly three hours on the phone with Parcelforce and customs, only to be told that the sender (Shop4Runners) must make the inquiry, not me.
Under EU consumer law (specifically the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), the seller remains responsible for the goods until they are physically received by the customer. The same principle applies under UK consumer law — the retailer, not the buyer, must sort out delivery problems.
Telling customers to chase international postal services themselves is unacceptable and shows poor customer care.
Shop4Runners said they will start an “investigation” that could take another 14 days, meaning I could be waiting six weeks or more for something I’ve already paid for — with no guarantee of resolution.
If this isn’t resolved promptly, I’ll have no choice but to request a chargeback through my bank, since the goods have not been delivered and the retailer has failed to take responsibility. A chargeback is entirely appropriate in this case, as it allows consumers to recover funds when the seller doesn’t fulfil their delivery obligations within a reasonable timeframe.
Extremely disappointed — I ordered in good faith, but Shop4Runners has shown a lack of accountability, poor communication, and no sense of duty toward their customers.

Make sure to check the return policy, especially if you're ordering from outside Germany.
I’m quite disappointed with the return process for this order. I had to pay nearly €16 for the return shipping simply because I don’t live in Germany, which I find quite unfair for an international customer.
Regarding the product: my usual shoe size is 43, but I ordered size 44 to be on the safe side. Unfortunately, the running shoe still felt far too small and tight, which made it unwearable and forced me to return it.
I expected a better fit and a more customer-friendly return policy, especially given the price of the product and the international nature of the store.

Great prices, though it takes a while sometimes for the parcel to be sent out - I've heard they have to source some sizes (not sure if this is true) - but the price savings are worth waiting a couple extra days or weeks, but keep that in mind!
