BEWARE OF THIS SCAM COMPANY!!
I ordered a washer and dryer set from this company because their website clearly listed both items as in stock and ready to ship. A few days later I received an email saying the washer was suddenly backordered, even though the website continued to show it as “in stock.” Trying to reach customer service was a nightmare — calls would either disconnect or I would sit on hold for extremely long periods. When I did get through, I was repeatedly given different stories and made-up ETAs. At one point I was told they would divert a washer from another shipment for me, but that never happened.

After about a month I received a notice from the courier that only part of the order had arrived — the dryer. The washer had not even been picked up yet. No one from the company ever contacted me about the delay or asked whether I agreed to a partial shipment; they simply sent half the order and left me waiting indefinitely. When I called a month later to inquire about the status they just casually said it's backordered. I asked to cancel the whole thing, they tried to charge me a $250 restocking fee for the dryer, even though I had ordered a set and never agreed to a partial delivery.

Getting a refund then turned into another ordeal. I was repeatedly told a supervisor would call me back, which never happened. One employee told me the order would be canceled and a full refund issued, but nothing happened for days. After continuing to call daily, I eventually received only a partial refund, forcing me to chase them again.

When I finally reached a supervisor (John), he blamed ME for "ordering an item that was out of stock" — despite the website clearly stating it was available when I placed the order. He even told me to “breathe and drink some water.” The most shocking part was that he said they would issue the full refund ONLY IF I WENT ON TRUSTPILOT IMMIDIATELY AND LEFT THEM A 5-STAR REVIEW WHILE ON THE PHONE!! I'm pretty sure that's BLACKMAIL and I'm still considering my legal options. Rest assured I already filed a complaint with the BBB and both Texas and NY DA. I want to see them out of business the sooner the better.

Eventually I did receive my full refund after threatening legal action, but the entire experience involved lies, poor communication, constantly changing stories, and unacceptable customer service. That’s not a retailer, that’s black market. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before ordering from this company!
Don’t believe the reviews here, I bet most of them were left as ransom.
There’s a reason this “company” doesn’t have a google page or a Facebook page where you can leave a review.

I got a great price on my appliance. Delivery was outstanding. I was kept updated on the status of the delivery and it arrived on time. The delivery men were efficient and professional and went above and beyond.

Took 4 tries for them to deliver. I called constantly & one didn’t know what the other was doing. They need to improve on their shipping. When my refrigerator arrived, the men who delivered were great. They unboxed for me & were great.

This was a wonderful experience with Shop Appliances. I had issues with canceling an order before it shipped. In the end a supervisor waived my restocking fees! Gave me piece of mind and look forward to shopping with Shop Appliances.

Bill was very helpful on the phone. I forgot to add haul away and he was able to pull up my order quickly and add that to my order. He was very pleasant and helpful on the phone.

Great communication .. even during a snow storm!! They are timely with returning emails and keeping us in loop on timing of shipping, delivery dates and responding to questions. It was a pleasure to have a company that actually cares for their customers!

Order a kitchen package to be delivered to Las Vegas but it was delayed due to snow storm. Since it would not arrive in time I needed to cancel and they provided me with a full refund.

Shop Appliances offered great customer service on a tricky order that i had to adjust a couple of times. Very happy with their fast response times and flexibility in making sure i got what i needed.
