Quick shipping, great product

Return M-series lenses for credit

I purchased a new iPhone 16 Pro and the M-series lenses I had purchased several years ago didn't work with it. I discovered that I could return the lenses for credit. The process for initiating the return was pretty easy and I received the credit after 2 weeks. Communication with the Moment team was timely and I didn’t have to wait long for answers to my questions.

Customer service is as good as the product

A delay in shipping led to a situation where I no longer wanted the product I’d purchased. Once I alerted the Moment team, Becca tracked down the issue for me, explained what had gone wrong, and issued the refund I requested. I’ve always had good experiences with Moment’s products but this offered a chance to see that they also excel in customer service.

Moment is easily one of the best quality companies to work with in photo & video we have ever encountered. Excellent customer service – genuinely human + helpful

I had a great experience with Moment’s Gear Guides via email.

From the outset, the response I received was clear, honest and transparent. Instead of a scripted or a generic reply, I was offered a practical solution that genuinely worked in my favour. After a challenging week, that kind of straightforward, problem-solving approach really stood out.

What impressed me most was how human the interaction felt. It was prompt, thoughtful and personal, right down to the head shot in the signature. That level of care matters more than many companies realise in a world of BOTS + AI.

Thanks to their help, I was able to purchase locally here in Australia and save a considerable amount of money, which I truly appreciated.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give five stars for excellent customer service. Professional, kind and refreshingly real. Job well done!

Horrible expensive “gotcha”.

I returned a camera within the return window, like-new, and was hit with a 15% restocking fee (~$200+) because I didn’t include the original retail box/packaging. I genuinely did not see a clear warning about that fee during the return process, and I don’t normally think to go read a policy page just to return something. This felt like a “gotcha”, an horribly expensive gotcha, and left a really bad impression of Moment. I will never buy from them ever again.

We’re very sorry that the restocking fee came as a surprise. We do explicitly state on our website that “Third party products require a 15% Restocking Fee” and that “Items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging/accessories.” This return policy is linked directly on the first page of our return portal and in the footer of our website.

In this case, the camera was returned without its original packaging (only the camera, strap, and charging cable were sent loose in a mailing box with no padding and packing material). Because items returned without full packaging cannot be resold as new, the 15% fee applies. Our policy and restocking criteria align with other retailers like Best Buy, B&H, and Adorama.

We did offer to return the camera to you if you paid the refunded amount plus a shipping label, but we understand that this wasn’t a workable solution for you.

We’re genuinely sorry this left a negative impression!

Great customer service

I had questions about the fit of different iPhone cases and the moment mounts. This was later on a Saturday evening, and the Moment support team kept responding to my questions fairly promptly! That level of customer service doesn’t go unnoticed!

Frictionless Customer Support from Moment

Moment customer support is absolutely frictionless and well worth buying from Moment specifically for their ability to assist. Very quick response time, even during the holidays when I communicated it was low priority. Close to instant resolution on multiple occasions that required zero effort on the customer's end. I will 100% be buying from Moment in the future.

Product purchased do to company's reputation.…

I selected the product I purchased because the company's reputation for quality products. I was looking for wireless microphones that worked well with iPhones. I have the product and they work great.
I also ordered some lavaliere mics. They have been slow to arrive. Rode's support team have been excellent in providing up to date tracking information.
