I ordered this product and after reading the reviews I cancelled the order in less then 24 hours and now they want me to return this to USA at my cost...also paid by PayPal and they are not also helpful.
Avoid this company as they are just after your money.

The dye itself worked for a week or so. However, although I did not sign up for a subscription it automatically put me on a subscription and when I caught it a couple months later they would not reimburse me. I asked to speak to a manager and all they could say is that they weren't allowed to transfer. I never received additional product even though I was on their subscription list. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

Ordering it was suspect. Added charges which doubled the shipping cost. Half was refunded. Grateful for that, then another charge appeared for $39.99 which my bank caught! Fraud! Scam! On top of it all, the dye didn't work! My hair appeared dull or stripped of its color. DON'T BUY THIS!

WATERY COULD NOT USE WASTE OF MONEY...plus can not find payment...

I wasn’t happy with product and wanted to return it but customer service ask million questions with millions email, product recall bad!!! Customer service really bad!!! Stay away from novahair! Waste of 30 pound never buy again

This company of hair dye hiding ingredients of PPD usage. I used this hair dye with the assumption that it is all natural. After 2 months of use, I lost major amount of hair and become almost bald close to the hairline.

I had been transitioning my greys for over 2 years and was invited to a 60th birthday party. After seeing a few adverts, I thought I'd try this 'new' semi hair dye which stated it washes out 6-8 weeks.....Perfect! When I eventually received it (took forever), I was excited to try this new semi dye. I did like the overall colour, it didn't cover much of my greys, but it did give me a more even colour all over. My biggest shock? I realised months later IT IS PERMANENT. It specifically states, temporary cover - and after several emails (and no replies), I was back to square one, having to transition my greys again!! 2 1/2 years down the drain. 0 stars for customer service, -5 stars for after sales service, -5 stars for false advertising, 2 stars for a nice colour.

They took my money in June 2025 for one order, then have continued to charge me and have refused a refund, they have never suppied the goods and called it a membership fee. Bad people and untrustworthy. do not order

I bought from Nova Official site as warned there are many counterfeit out there. I used blonde as my hair is white with grey. No coverage at all on the grey hair and the white hair turned very yellow with a green tinge. I contacted the company who came back to me within hours. I was asked for photos which I supplied and I have just had, 28 Dec, confirmation of a refund. All this happened over the Christmas holidays.
I was annoyed that the product came from China and the instructions were in very small print which also stated that the dye was permanent yet the Nova company sell it as semi permanent shampoo dye.
Overall I would not recommend as results are in the lap of the hair gods. I cannot fault the company for communication and resolution, but I have a vile colour on my hair which I suspect means an expensive trip to a hair salon.

I placed an order but never received it. When I contacted Nova Hair, I was told it had been delivered on Saturday, 13/12/2025. Please note: when you order from Nova Hair, you will not receive a tracking number, and the only email you get is about delivery delays—so you have no idea when your package will actually arrive. Later, I learned from Nova Hair that SpeedX, their contracted courier, had left the package outside a high-rise building, where anyone passing by could easily take it. Nova said they couldn’t help and didn’t even offer to report the incident to their courier. I spent my hard-earned money and got nothing in return. I will never purchase from Nova Hair again if they continue using such an unreliable courier that shows no care for customers, and Nova Hair’s response was extremely disappointing.

ZERO STARS !! A COMPLETE DISASTER AND A DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!

I am absolutely furious. NOVA Men’s Hair Dye is hands-down the worst product I have ever used in my life. It boldly claims to be chemical-free, ammonia-free, gentle, safe ,what a complete joke. The moment this garbage touched my scalp, it started burning. Not tingling but burning!

And the instructions literally say to “apply to hands and lather”. Are you serious? Doing exactly what the packaging says has left my hands stained pitch black. I’ve washed them with soap, shampoo, scrubs,even acetone-and the stains are still there!

I’ve been using men’s hair dyes for decades, and I have never experienced anything like this. Never had skin staining, never had scalp irritation—let alone this level of aggravation and burning. For a product marketed as gentle and chemical-free, this is beyond unacceptable.

This isn’t just a bad product,it feels unsafe. How on earth this is still being sold is beyond me. It is misleading, irresponsible, and in my opinion, borders on being a scam. I am extremely disappointed, genuinely shocked, and honestly concerned for anyone else who buys this.

I rarely write bad reviews, but people need to know the truth.
Do NOT buy this product. Avoid it at all costs!!

If you value your skin, your scalp, or your basic well-being, go nowhere near NOVA Men’s Hair Dye. Companies that release dangerous products like this should be held accountable and pulled off shelves immediately.

Very disappointed by this "hair dye shampoo" it left my hair dry and straw like and I couldnt see any difference in shade, it did not hide my greys, even after leaving it on for the recommended time! I bought it on get one free offer, and bought myself the dark brown, as I wanted a natural look, and my daughter the purple, she too said it left her hair dry and straw like and ended up applying a ton of conditioner to her hair the next time she washed her hair to help feed it (which I have also had to do, plus a hair serum) needless to say I will not be buying this product again!!

Got a dark brown and a black brown! Thankfully I got the black brown one cos the lighter one was ginger! I've dyed my hair twice and have long hair, down my back and it feels empty already! It dyes really well and lasts up to 3 normal wases after but it's not any cheaper than getting normal dye and I still need to wear gloves as it dyed my clear gel nails dark brown lol😛 stays on your skin if your not careful! But that's due for you🥰

I applied it to my mustache and side burns and went to wash dishes so when I went to take it off it was about 15 maybe 20 minutes, I know 10 minutes. I had some difficulty washing off the product and when I looked at myself in the mirror this morning I said, YOU *ITCH

Scam... they sent me another bottle of shampoo I didn't order and was charged in my account without my permission.

I was excited to use the product as it seemed better then box dye, application was easy'to use, thou it didnt always dispense dye more shampoo its a little disappointing. The dark brown dye covered the grey hair but left a orange tinge wasnt very nice look and not what i thought i was getting. Wont be purchasing again.

Although results were ok, I had to wait up to 25 minutes for the dark brown to take effect. The very worst part about this product is mixing the colour. Despite shaking the product clear gel continually pumped out. I tried leaving the bottle upside down for a few minutes, shakes slowly for 10 minutes still only clear gel. It occasionally gave some brown smeared gel. First bottle I had was okay but the 3 since had only a smearing of dye in it. It saved no time as I spent over 20 minutes trying to get the dye in the bottle to mix and 25 minutes for the colour to develop. So using a home dye is quicker with better results and works out cheaper. Will not be buying again!

We ordered 2 bottles of Nova hair dyes and were very excited to use it again since my husband loved it the first time we purchased. Unfortunately, these 2 bottles didn’t work at all. We reached out to the company requesting either a refund or a replacement, as it seemed the batch we received might have been defective. However their response was that they don’t offer that option. We are very disappointed with both the product and the customer service. We do not recommend this product.
