Sadly..
Sadly... I found the website clunky, adding things to the basket without me realising, and being difficult when I wanted to delete them.
When I ordered something and paid online I got a message saying the payment had been refused, although it turned out it had not been. That worried me, and I got no personal reply to my queries about it.
In them I mentioned I had hoped to order gloves too asking whether it was too late. This was ignored, and I ended up making a 30 mile round trip to buy some elsewhere..
When the ordered goods arrived the plastic tube for a queen bee marker kit was already broken, and as I was flying out next day there was nothing I could do about it. Sigh.

Apologies, we are experiencing various issues with our website at the moment that our IT department are working to fix.
We received multiple emails dated the 25th October, after our office hours, to which we replied on the 26th October.
Looking at the emails, on your 2nd email you state 'Please disregard the second part of my message'. Our customer service department responded to the first part of your email regarding payment issues, and has assumed the second part of your query was regarding the request for gloves.
Once orders have been completed on the website, we are unable to amend the order, so we wouldn't have been able to add the gloves to the original order.
A replacement queen marker cage with plunger will be dispatched tomorrow to replace the damaged one.

Quick Despatch, Good Price, Expensive Delivery
Item ordered arrived quickly and was as described. My only complaint was the surcharge for delivery to my address in Argyll (neither Highlands nor Islands) - it arrived by Royal Mail and they have a national pricing strategy so it shouldn’t have cost any more to send it to me.

I bought a batch of plastic honeycomb boxes and found the price with postage very reasonable.
Some beekeeping companies charge exorbitant prices for postage, so I am grateful for realistic pricing.

my first order …
I placed my first order with Simon the beekeeper not a small order but just to test who there going to use as courier and if they take full responsibility for their choice and any implications that may occurs ,like I say this is a test order because my list future list was touching £600 and my experience is dreadful obviously must be making thousands not interested in having bee business , my order never arrived was returned to Simon and still waiting for a full refund of £123, never got an answer why the delivery couldn’t be delivered stayed indoors two days back to back and cancelled deliver at the last second it’s not as if they didn’t have my phone number ,and as far as dropping it off at local drop off that was considered which is less than 50 meters from me ,but cancelled that also .

Once the order has left us we no longer have any control over where the courier chooses to leave the parcel, whether that be in a safe place, neighbour or at a local collection point.
