I'm at the beginning of applying for CHC and know it can be a minefield. I contacted this company yesterday and received a call back today. Danielle is a real expert, answered all my questions and I'm now clear about the next steps I need to take and know that I can contact Danielle with any further queries. And this was all for free!

Danielle was exceptional throughout our CHC process. My family wholeheartedly recommend her services.

Despite a very tight timeframe (we only asked for her assistance little over a week before our DST meeting!) she had thoroughly familiarised herself with my medical background (certainly not a trivial task!) before meeting us the day before my DST meeting to review this and address our concerns about the assessment before advocating for us within the DST meeting itself.

We fortunately found the nurse assessor very supportive throughout the assessor, and in agreement throughout with the domain levels that Danielle and my family had proposed. We were fortunate that this resulted in a positive outcome for CHC funding, and, at least from our research, a fairly ‘painless’ assessment. So, whilst we cannot say that Danielle’s advocacy affected our outcome, we can certainly say that her support and knowledge of the CHC assessment process was invaluable; at a time of extreme stress due to complicated and failing care arrangements, her presence and knowledge made the assessment processes immeasurably less stressful.

In addition to her support during the assessment, we also now have an extremely thorough report which may (although we hope not!) be very useful for future reviews of CHC funding.

I would also like to add that, even after her role in my case ended, she has provided assistance which we are extremely grateful for.

Danielle from Simply Continuing Healthcare, offered me a free consultation to discuss my mothers situation and offer invaluable advice about next steps and what else I may need to consider. I live in the US and am supporting my dad as LPA. I was struggling to obtain the necessary information to help me understand the Continuing Healthcare Checklist (CHC). Danielle came highly recommended as someone who could help.

Danni has been an invaluable help with our appeal against the original CHC decision. As others have said below, she is extremely hard working and professional but takes on things at a personal level, where nothing is too much trouble and she is always ready to answer any questions and guide you through the process. Once she took on the case it was a great deal lighter on our shoulders !
