Our solicitors Lucy and Alice were excellent

We had an issue with our local authority not implementing the provision within our daughter's EHCP. Lucy and Alice explained the best action to take to hold the LA to account and kept us well updated on their progress. We were able to apply for legal aid which was such a benefit to us. With much persistence from Lucy and Alice, they were able to get the issue resolved for us and we are very satisfied with the outcome

I would like to acknowledge the advise, guidance and spectacular work Ren has done for me, as my solicitor.

My matter is extremely complex and difficult with the other side not communicating or co-operating. Add in an element of international law to further complicate matters and this should be enough to rattle most lawyers but not Ren. She remained clear, focused and optimistic even when I felt deflated.

She’s been warm, kind, considerate and above all friendly. Family matters are easier when your lawyer raises your spirits and assures you there are ways forward despite obvious obstacles.

Wasted my time giving so much information to be told this would be looked at and dealt with. Only to receive an email this morning to say they are at capacity in that team at the moment?! What a waste of time.

An effective process made the experience easy. Although the process was protracted communication was key as I was constantly updated.

I needed help with my daughter's EHCP, which was not being funded correctly by our LA. Lucy advised us to begin Tribunal proceedings, and her expert advice plus her amends to our daughter's EHCP made such a huge difference, both to the support she will now get, and to the level of funding she is entitled to. The LA have conceded to full funding without us needing to go to a Tribunal hearing. I'm confident that would not have happened if we hadn't had Lucy working with us. I will definitely be using Simpson Millar again for advice on my other child's EHCP.
