Worst airline to travel with

Worst airline to travel with. I booked a trip to Istanbul and they cancelled my return flight. Either Singapore airlines or edreams travel assigned a date which doesn’t suit me I have been struggling for a month with these two useless companies and can’t get a reply.
Singapore airlines do not answer phones.
This other mob edreams refer you to make changes on their website which doesn’t work.
I should sue both for the mental anguish they have cause me since the end of last year with regard to this.

Great flight and outstanding service

This was a long flight from Milan to Thailand via Singapore. The service overall was of a highest standard that I have seen as a yearly flyer to Europe from other mostly European airlines. Cabin crew highly professional and worked tirelessly throughout with genuine attentiveness on both flights.

Worst Ground Staff Service

Check in on flight from JFK to Singapore, The check in staff on JFK seems like a trainee and so careless. while checking in the staff work very slow while giggling with other colleague, the boarding pass and luggage tag was printed on the other counter ( this could be the start of the nightmare since it increase chance of human error). (especially ground staff named RAHIM using foul language and having bad attitude towards customer)

When Arriving at the destination, Lost a checked luggage and the staff could not locate/trace where is the luggage.

All customer service online & offline only use template reply like automatic reply which frustrating.

Singapore Airlines knowingly leaves you unable to log in unless you have Krisflyer account.

The SA website needs a Krisflyer membership number to let you log onto your account but in some way confuses their records of your membership and password to stop you from doing so.
A long online chat explaining the problem resulted in no help being given and no response for access to any complaints procedure. I am locked out of my account and despite offers of help if I send them a copy of my passport, no action or help is forthcoming. All I am trying to do is log on to my SA account with a normal password and email.

Useful buying airline tickets direct from airline if on long-haul

On arrival at Townsville , Queensland airport we found that our flights to Sydney had been cancelled and replaced with flights later in the day.
These changes meant that we would miss our Singapore Airlines flight back to London. However a phone call to their office in Sydney was sufficient to get us on a flight to London 24 hours later for a relatively low fee (as specified in the ticket t and c.)
On checking in at Sydney my wife and I were given seats together despite the late booking. We were informed that for the Singapore/London leg of the flight we should present ourselves early at the boarding gate . This we did and SIA staff persuaded a solo flyer to swap seats so we could continue our journey seated together.
We have been flying with Singapore Airlines for twenty years and have always enjoyed their excellent service.
We purchased our tickets directly from Singapore Airlines hence our ability to change flights without involving a travel agent. Trying to re-book our flights through an agent in the UK at 1am was avoided.

Worst Airlines Ever

Worst Airlines Ever, they forced me to take a flight that it is not convenience and I tried to change it they said I have to contact the agency I booked through, plenty of back and forth between airlines and agency without any success. STAY AWAY IT'S A RIP OFF.

Good flight but assistance lacking completely

Good, friendly service on board let down by abysmal and non-caring attitude with assistance on departure from aircraft at Heathrow…which was late arriving and subsequently so poor that we gave up and had to walk that huge distance to Terminal 2 customs, luggage collection and pick-up. Saw someone from Singapore Airlines at passport control but to no avail.

AMONG THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATIONS

This review is about Singapore Airlines customer service, not specifically about the flying experience itself.

I've been waiting more than 6 months for the CS Dept. to credit frequent flyer ("Krisflyer") miles that were wrongly credited to partner airline, then removed by that other carrier. I've sent extensive documentary proof to SIA several times. The other carrier (United) directly wrote to SIA CS to explain the error. STILL, I get nothing but excuses and requests to wait. Inexcusable - they're just waiting for me to give up.

In the meantime, I use some of my Krisflyer miles to purchase a flight, only to find hours later that the mileage requirement has been reduced by 25%. No mercy here, either. By knowingly accepting mileage redemptions without any notice to customers of an impending major reduction is not strictly "improper," of course - but it's unfair and leaves the airline's best customers feeling cheated. At the very least they should have waived their exorbitant fee for canceling/redepositing the fight and allowing me to re-buy at the lower mileage redemption rate.

So much for "loyalty."

UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR RETROACTIVE MILEAGE CLAIM

We have several times requested to assign the missing flights and proved on your request with our booking paper.
It is very disappointing how customer is treated at KrysFlyer.
With such bad service, Singapore Airline is losing customer.

KrisShop…SA online store

I bought a pair of earrings from KrisShop; however, when the package arrived I received x2 of the items although I ordered one. Needless to say, I got charged for both and although I have sent them several emails requesting that they let me know who/how to send back the extra item (and for them to give me back my money for the xtra unauthorised item sent to me) no one has yet replied. The beauty of paying with credit is that if there is a dispute about payment, I am in a position to negate any unauthorised charge from my credit card so ultimately not my loss but theirs. Having said that, it is highly unprofessional of a company to have let their customer standards drop so much!

Terrible customer service

On my first flight a passenger sat in my seat and refused to get out of the seat. Then on the second connecting flight as soon as I sat down a passenger demanded I change seats. These passengers then kept changing seats. I had previously had amazing experiences with Singapore Airlines so I thought I’d provide feedback as it was once a great airline. The response and lack of an apology was so bad I will never fly Singapore Airlines again. The key to ignoring issues and feedback at Singapore is to not record anything in the cabin crew report. That way you can pretend to deny there is an issue with dropping standards. I am currently planning a number of international flights and based on how poor the response has been from Singapore I am deciding between Qatar, Air New Zealand, and Turkish Airlines as these airlines respect customers.

Horrible Customer Service and Experience

First and foremost horrible customer service. I have been trying to reach them over 3 months to receive compensation for delayed baggage, without any response or luck. Additionally, they have sold their "Scoot" (their low cost airline) flight on Singapore Airline prices which was disastrous! +4 hour delays, no charger or entertainment, minimal food 1 hour served over an 8 hour direct flight (Singapore, Melbourne). I used to have high regard for the airlines, but no more.

No compensation since 6 months

We flew last year in September from Frankfurt to Bali and back with Singapore Airlines. On the way back we had a pretty long stopover in Singapore. The luggage was automatically loaded by Singapore Airlines from one plane to the other. Then when we arrived in Frankfurt, we saw through our Apple Air tag in our luggage that one of our backpackers didn't make it to Frankfurt. This was over 6 months ago now. Of course, the backpack never arrived in Germany, we have not received any compensation so far. In the end, we have now seen that the backpack was probably donated or sold, because it is no longer at the airport but at a charity organization in Singapore. I called several times in Singapore directly, wrote more than 10 mails to different mail addresses, asked at the airport in Frankfurt - no answer or money at all. The flight itself was really great, but the service now after the accident is really miserable.

Outstanding support from the lost…

Outstanding support from the lost property office (honesty, integrity and reliability), and from the excellent flight cabin crews on all of our flights to New Zealand from the UK and back again. It is a shame that there seems to be a problem with online communication ( via Krisshop and Singapore Airline website) which prevents the Singapore Airline staff teams achieving their aim of excellence. I suggest the tech staff take a look at their colleague’s excellent customer service. When travelling, customers require a seamless and immediate response to enquiries.
