The service of this company is atrocious. There is probably hundreds of places you can buy a sink in the UK, do yourself a favour and buy from one of them.
Not A Happy Experience.
Unfortunately, the two Carcaso Deluxe stools we bought appear to suffer from Covid 19 reduced hours of working. One of the stools had a laser film firmly stuck to the shiny base and took nearly 3 hours to remove and clean afterwards. The other stool, it was impossible to fit the 4 screws that attach the stem to the underside of the padded seat, they were too short. Also, the 4 countersunk holes in the base were out of alignment with the threaded holes in the stem. This meant the base was difficult to attach and still does not seem secure. Not a happy experience.
My worst customer service experience ever
Awful customer experience. First time I have purchased from this company, and never again! I bought an expensive £340 Smeg double sink (Smeg VSTR3434) which was delivered fairly promptly. I checked the item 7 days later (not checked immediately with delivery driver as delivery drivers just leave items on doorstep now and run away ASAP due to COVID), as I was busy working in Intensive Care for multiple shifts during the COVID pandemic. As soon as we remove from the sealed box, we clearly see multiple bends throughout the item and it’s clearly damaged. I tried on two occasions to call Sinks.co.uk, the first time someone hung up on me (I assume accidentally), and the second time I was 8th in the queue and it was taking forever and I had to go to work so couldn’t wait.
I eventually call again after another group of shifts when I was free, again waited ages but finally got through and was told that a refund wouldn’t be a problem but to just send photos in which I did immediately. I then heard nothing back for days so I called again and they apologised for the wait but that they were organising for the item to be picked up and returned before processing the refund, and they would call me back. Again I called back days later and this time I’m informed that they will not refund me because I reported the damage after their 7 day “grace period” hidden in the terms and conditions (which you have to click on and read huge amounts of text - who actually does that?!?). They explained that this was the contract they arranged with their suppliers, even though I see nothing stating 7 days in the T&Cs now when I look, only about checking on delivery.
I’ve never encountered such poor customer service, especially for expensive items. And especially during times like COVID where things are not as they usually are (I.e. difficulties contacting people, no workers on site, delivery drivers social distancing and leaving quickly, etc).
On top of all of this, when I was told it would be refunded (they didn’t have any more in stock to exchange), I bought the same sink from somewhere else (East Coast Kitchens - very good company) as we needed the sink urgently for countertop templating. I perhaps would have tried to make the initial sink work for that price but now I don’t even have that option thanks to the false information I was fed multiple times by Sinks.co.uk!
Really very poor experience, completely unapologetic and did not acknowledge the fact that I had to keep calling and chasing despite the fact they could have prevented all of this. I will never buy from here again. I would rather pay £100 more for this sink but from somewhere else that actually cares about their customers. The fact I’m leaving such a long and detailed review should show how disappointing an experience this has been. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Good Service
Pleased with my purchase of a Franke rollamat. Although had to wait for it to come back into stock due to Covid19, I received a call to advise there was a delay and I called a week later to check the status of my order, which they were able to advise me on. Arrived a few days later.
Great sink
Very easy transaction, sink looks perfect not had it installed yet but it looks a good sturdy sink can't wait to see it in situ with my new worktops. Quick delivery and well packaged. Would recommend to friends and family.
Supply problem meant I had to cancel!
Unfortunately due to my ordered sink being out of stock I would have had to wait 2 weeks which I didn’t want to do. Cancellation was no problem and refund given at once.

Late being delivered due to current situation but no problem. Didn't get the plumbing kit with the sink and was later informed that came by Royal Mail. Sadly no indication on the order that was happening

The customer service was great when the order was taken on the phone. After having ordered a tap and sink and a waste&overflow kit we are still waiting for the overflow kit 4 weeks after the order was put through which was supposed to be delivered after 7days.
Where's my stuff
I bought a couple of NoCalc replacement cartridges. One month later they hadn't arrived and I chased them up. No response or explanation but the cartridges arrived two days later.
I'm happy that the issue was resolved but the customer care side could do with some improvement.

7 day warranty!!!
I purchased 2 copper sink wastes 8/7/19, order ID #837675119 from sinks.co.uk. Initially we were very pleased. However the strainer/plug part has become badly faded/discoloured. I emailed Sinks with photos and received an email stating "Unfortunately because this item has been installed and you have had this for over 7 working days this is now out of warranty with us" and we should take it up with "1810". A 2nd email was replied to in a similar manner. I have no idea who 1810 are? Our contract is with Sinks, the responsibility for the quality of the goods under the Sale of goods and Services Act lies with Sinks. I will be taking this further.
Disappointing
I never even got my product! Ordered a sink that showed as “in stock”. A day later I got a call to tell me it’s out of stock and they can get it to me within 10 days. All right, it’s at the limit but I can wait! Well, 10 days are gone and still no sign of my sink! Apparently the supplier hasn’t sent it so now it’s going to be another 10 days. I now have to reschedule the kitchen fitter for whenever I’ll have a sink to fit. Had to cancel and now hope the refund won’t take as long as the sink. And the sink still shows as “in stock” online.
Dreadful
Bought a Perrin and Row hot water tap for almost £1,000 and the head was very scratched. Clearly had been opened and used previously. Raised it with Sinks.co.uk at the end of April(!), constantly chased (called/emailed), and only now at the end of June after numerous chasers have they finally said it can be returned albeit they won't replace the tap until they have more stock (and no idea when that will be). Utter joke of a company and the customer service is truly appalling. Has held up our kitchen project substantially and wasted hours of time. Avoid.
