Great Service

AVOID!!!

I have to agree with “Hannah” who wrote a review last year about her awful customer service received from this dreadful company. Funnily enough, from an allergic reaction I also had from a product.

I second Hannah’s review,
“Awful customer service. Patronising, dismissive and giving unhelpful advice to carry on using a product that I had a reaction to just because they don’t accept returns”

This is the same attitude and experience I received from STELLA, the so called “customer service representative” who firstly shoved the ingredient list in an email and advised I saw a dermatologist regarding my reaction. She then went on to say:

“I do understand your frustration but I guess the way I look at it is, would a supermarket give me my money back if I bought a cake that contained nuts, and I had a reaction if I had a nut allergy. In this case, I think the shop would say the cake was as described, and different customers 'react' in different ways to it?”

Sorry but I find this so damn right rude!! I’ve never been spoken to like this before from a customer service department and I will be taking this further. Disgusting.

Having reviewed our customer service representative's response to this customer, I do not agree that the tone was rude, and she was correct in her enforcement of our company policy.

Our terms and conditions (which are typical in the cosmetics retail industry) clearly state that we are unable to issue refunds unless the product is unused or faulty. If a customer experiences an allergic reaction to something in the product's ingredients – which are clearly listed on the product's information page – this is beyond our control as a retailer.

Our representative's example of a supermarket not being liable for a customer having an allergic to reaction to food purchased from its store was a helpful way of illustrating the logic behind our policy.

Furthermore, our representative's suggestion that the customer seek professional dermatological advice was both responsible and appropriate.

Quick and easy

Didn’t know this website before so felt like I’d take a gamble and order a couple of skincare products. Turns out it all went great and the parcel came in a few days later, well packaged and love the niche products !
