This service use to be good

This service use to be good. But has completely gone downhill. Make an order, the order never shows up, but the app says its delivered and I contact customer support. And the Customer support has gone from pleasant and really helpful to absolutely useless in the past few months. they make me wait forever to get an answer, then give me no answer, and are just robotic and rude. They use to give you 5$ credit for your trouble, now "tuff" ya we screwed up and delivered food to the wrong place order again and leave me alone is their attitude. I completely detest contacting the10re Customer service. Stopped using it. the never apologized for the trouble, and didnt care to make it up to me . they don't care about the customer anymore.

IF YOU LIKE YOUR HOT FOOD COLD...

This service (if you can even call it that) has been nothing but disappointing. I ordered lunch for my husband and I from a fast food place that is literally 10 minutes from us and I usually just drive and get it myself but we had a busy day today and wanted it delivered so we could get some stuff done and the delivery person took 35 minutes to get to us! By the time our food made it to us all the food was cold and the drinks warm because the (insert insult here) driver put our food and drinks IN THE SAME THERMABAG! Then she took off like a bat out of hell before I could check the food. This is the very reason why I don’t tip before my food gets to me. I contacted customer support and after I waited 10 minutes for them to respond I requested a full refund including the tip I gave (the only time I tipped in advance because I was in a cheery mood) and they said they have between 25-58 minutes to deliver our food....what in the actual f%k?! Then they proceeded to tell me that they can only refund me to delivery fee and tip which was $3 since delivery was free....needless to say I will never use this service again and immediately deleted their app.

Skip your entire meal, not just the dishes.

Being stuck at work, or not being able to go pick up the food myself, I've given Skip The Dishes more than a fair number of chances to see if they just had one bad day, but unfortunately not. Skip the Dishes has managed to deliver utter disappointment every single time i've used them. Even during non-peak hours on a normal sunny day with perfect driving conditions my order has been not delivered for more than 2 hours with no way to get in touch with the driver.

Their customer support runs on a script not really concerned about the individual order but instead always pushing a few dollars worth of "skip credits" as compensation when they have a much bigger problem at hand. I'll be surprised if they're still in business by 2020.

I ordered last night my first order

I ordered last night my first order, overall great experience. I ordered a small order of wings and a gourmet pizza with many toppings on their current promo code. Good food and good service in approximately 30 minutes from order time to delivery.

Dishonest service robbing customers

Very very unsatisfied. I ordered a salmon hosomaki and kamikaze maki from Sushi Crystal and in the menu it says 5-6 pieces for each but they served me 1 piece for each! The price was $3.50 and their menu is fooling the customer making the customer believe that you pay $3.50 for 5-6 pieces but you are paying it for 1 piece only. So I paid $7 for only 2 sushi pieces it is HIGH THEFT!! I spoke to the manager of the restaurant and he rudely told me that this is what I ordered. I contacted skip the dishes and they told me the same thing. Their app is very misleading and the customer service is very bad. They will intentionally mislead the users to rob their money. Will never order from skip the dishes again... it is dishonest to the clients.

Used Skip The Dishes and got Hacked!!

Used Skip The Dishes (STD, ;) ) this weekend on my wife's credit card. Then on Monday we got a STD charge for the original charge on her credit card, PLUS an extra charge for $127.00 on hers PLUS $112.00 on my credit card, which is not linked to the same account, but of course, shares the same address!
We called STD to get a refund, but they are stonewalling and said it was our credit card. What a pile of hooey! We have had no other fraudulent activity on our card. Logical to think our STD account got hacked! My message to STD: Take responsibility for the mistakes instead of passing the buck! You obviously have security issues. My message to you, dear reader: avoid STD at all costs!

NO TIP NO SERVICE

I've been using these guys since they first started the last year they have been completely useless. everytime I order food it takes 2 hours to be delivered. I tried experiementing when I was suspected that they deliberately do this when not tipped. when I tip the delivery shows up on time or a little late. when I don't the app magically says "we are experiencing record highs for service". sure you are. so I don't tip today and yet again it's says the record high thing and takes 2.5 hours to be delivered and right before the delivery skip has the audacity to send me a text with a link directing me to a website that says "guide to tipping". I also found out from people that work there that the drivers do see whether you tipped or not and have permission to not take the order if they feel it doesn't pay enough money. If Skip ever see's this: this is why I don't tip, would you tip your server at a restaurant before you were serviced? no. I'm not tipping you for delivering missing items and being late. also I'm pretty sure you are wasting the restaurants money and time making them remake orders you refuse to pick up on time. If your drivers weren't arrogant and lazy, I would tip them at the door for a job well done.

Been a customer for many years

I've been using them since they were Just-Eat, their service is very good, if i've ever had issues, they fix it or give me a credit, and often return the tip as well if the items are missing. People need to understand that they are not responsible for getting the orders right, they simply facilitate the order with their system, if there is a screw up with it, it's 99.9% the restaurants fault for not following the order or the special instructions. I have to say when the restaurants screw up it's annoying, but you can't blame skip. At least they give me a fair refund and a small extra credit of $5 for the hassle.

Avoid skipthedishes at all costs

Courrier only picks up and delivers half of our order. After speaking with Brian in customer service he confirms they will send another courrier to pick up and deliver the missing items. I then receive a call from the restaurant owner stating that the same courrier, while picking up another order, was instructed to not pick up the remainder of my order.

I contact CS again and speak with Artem to ask what is happening and they offer to refund the undelivered items which I refuse and ask for a full a refund and to speak with a supervisor also stating that I will not use their service again. CS tells me I will be contacted in 24-48h. To not have to wait another 45 minutes for the remainder of my order I drive to the restaurant to pick it up myself.

A few hours hours later I receive an email stating that I have received a partial refund in Skip Credits which can only be used in their store. I am disputing all charges as I refuse to pay for such poor service.

They ignore their customers request for a refund and after being told I would not use their service again they refund me in store only credits.

Avoid skipthedishes at all costs.

Good experience every time

Good experience every time. Sometimes the wait time is long, but that can be the restaurants fault. Also the skip the dishes 'live' customer service chat is never active. very annoying.

An order from Ontario went thru without…

An order from Ontario went thru without my verification. It turned out, someone hacked my details. Skip did not even have any verification steps to know if the order was legit. They charged my card for $71. Obviously, the hacker had my details and Skip should have had kept a better security system in place to prevent such situations. There was also lack of empathy from the customer service.

Never Again

Used skip the dishes for the first time and we ended up with two additional fraudulent charges from them. This would indicate to me that there is a breach in their security. Where not my business but I do know that we will not use again. User beware.

My boyfriend and I used skipthedishes…

My boyfriend and I used skipthedishes all the time since June 2018 up until today Mar 13/2019. Everything was okay until the last couple of months or so. Today is the third time that the order didn't show up. We will never be ordering from there ever again. We are still waiting for supervisor to give us a call but we are so frustrated because there was never an explanation as to what happened to the courier. Also, I requested for the courier to call us because he had been circling the block, but we never received a call and my boyfriend was waiting downstairs the whole time after we got the notification stating that the courier was close.

Awful experience!!

Awful experience!!! Took over 4 hours to receive the complete order! Even McDonald’s phoned us to apologize because they couldn’t get ahold of the driver or the company to rectify the situation! And then when we phoned customer service the lady basically said she couldn’t do anything and hung up the phone on us!! Would never order from again, you don’t treat paying customers like that. Boycott this company and save your hard earned money.

Adequate at best, unrelaible at worst.

3 our of 4 times the system works just fine. You pay for your food and delivery, you get your food and delivery. Problem is the unreliability 1/4 times. Currently the only food delivery app in available in my area, this is the second time I'm swearing off the application - this time definitely for good. The first time I quit the app I had a notification that my food was ready for pick up, while the app cycled through 4 idle drivers over about 40 minutes. Cancelled the order - who wants 40 minute old fast food...? Gave it a few months and caved in and started using the app again a few months later.

Latest incident that made me want to quit the app again was having an item forgotten in my order - a coffee that was the main motivation behind my entire order. Just getting the items that did make it was a fiasco in itself, the driver completely ignored my crucial delivery notes. After intercepting him I got a ``how was I supposed to know!?'' comment, to which I replied ``by reading the delivery notes''. Then their chat service had me on queue for about 50 minutes. No delivery refund given, after all that trouble, just the $2 for my coffee. Definitely not coming back again after this fiasco.

Drivers perspective

Driver here. Worst company I have ever worked for. No reply from head office in chat while working. Luckily, I can figure stuff out pretty well on my own. Missing addresses, wrong phone numbers and such. 100% positive customer reviews. Doesn’t mean anything to head office. Their only concern is that 30% cut they take from the restaurant and screwing the drivers with ridiculously low transit pays. Oh, and if you are expecting someone to drive a burger to your house in bad weather, maybe add a good tip. A driver has the ability to refuse a delivery if they are not making any money. That will add a lot of time. I will not do a delivery for under $7 including tip.
That being said, driver support is terrible and their computer logistics routing software is terrible. I was in line at a restaurant ordering food for myself when they got a skip order. I ate my food in the parking lot expecting to get that order assigned to me. Low and behold, another driver shows up to pick up the delivery. After 30 minutes, at a burger joint. The order was ready in 6 minutes and waited for another driver even though I was right there waiting for it. It is ridiculous how many times this stuff happens.
