Company of scammers

Company of scammers. They will arbitrarily disallow you from ordering, edit orders to see if you're making false refund requests, and screw around with you in the support chat. Absolutely awful company and I will never do business with them again after some years, and I will tell everyone I know to not use skip. To hell with this company.

Door dash is better

Skip the dishes always takes soooo long to get to my house. It will say 25 mins then next time I look it's 60 mins. I have waiting 2 hours the last 3 times I ordered. It's really getting ridiculous. Not sure what happened they used to be good but now it's just Terrible. I even up my tip each time and that doesn't help. Door dash is waaay better my order was here in less than half hour.

Refused to give full refund and when…

Refused to give full refund and when they refunded the 27$ out of 50$ they stole an additional 19$ out of my account and say they refuse to help me even tho THEY Robbed me I am owed 69$ And they will only refund 27$ even tho 19$ doesn’t even belong to them

The bag was unsealed
1 burger was frozen
1 burger was missing
2 drinks were missing
The ceaser salade only had lettuce in it
And Someone pour a weird juice on both my fries

Toronto: DON'T.

Toronto: APPALLING. Extremely rude , lazy and inept. 2 OUT OF THREE ORDERS COMPLETELY EFFED UP.

The carriers are JOKES. They never tell us they are here, NEVER come up to the apartment, and leave ice cream on the lobby radiator!!!! Lazy bums.

WARNING: They cancel orders for NO REASON, and refund with CREDITS, only.

This is the worst company of any kind I have ever dealt with, ANYWHERE.

Never recieved my order or refund, limit on how many refunds you get?!

Never recieved my order because I forgot to type in the unit number of my condo. Soo I'm assuming the skip driver came couldnt find the house and dropped it off somewhere random orrrr just took it. I contacted support explaining what had happened asking if they could contact the driver to ask where it went and they told me "We appreciate your patience! According to our end, the order has been delivered to the given address so please check your surroundings." Went on to tell them they never delivered i already looked even checked next door nothing. Also i was never called or contacted by the driver so its literally their fault. And so im like can i at least get my money back cuz it was about 65 dollars and i get told:
"We understand that this situation is not ideal but It looks like SkipTheDishes regularly fell short of your expectations because you've gotten a lot of refund requests. We are unable to help you any further through this chat or provide any future credit to any of your accounts as a result of this action. We appreciate you using SkipTheDishes." Which is outrageous?!? Apparently there's a limit on how many refunds you get before they just decide it's your fault that they always leave items out of your order. This is the first time it's ever been straight up just not delivered though and they decided i wasnt believable because ive asked for small refunds of like 5 dollars here and there for when theyre missing like a chocolate bar or something from 7/11 but i didnt think that meant i wasnt getting refunded anymore?! I literally had like 6 conversations with the exact same messages like these ppl just type from a script and do nothing. I was finally like screw it they stole my money agaainn and im never using SkipTheDishes ever again with how often they screw up. Door dash at least sends you picture confirmation when they deliver. Lol i said "can you at least fire the skip driver for f****ing up" lol and they threatened to ban me for life from customer support for using profanity sooo 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Ruined meal, refused to give full refund

Ordered a pizza, driver dropped the pizza and it was a completely and disgusting disaster, totally inedible. Sent pictures to Skip and they would only give me a partial refund, refused to refund full amount even though the pizza is ALL I ordered and THEIR DRIVER dropped it and left it inedible.

Disgusting customer service and drivers who don’t give two sh*ts.

I am handicapped and my kids give me…

I am handicapped and my kids give me gift cards for several delivery companies. Skip the Dishes is one. I still had some money on my account so I used it to place an order this evening. I could see on the tracking app that the delivery guy was very close to my house, but he never came. When I contacted them they told me that I was not at the address I had given. I didn’t give them an address - I had an account and hadn’t moved so I assumed that, as always, it would be delivered to my door at my account address. They refused to refund me. I checked the account and they had changed it to a completely different address!!!! I’m sure they changed it while i was complaining to them so they could get out of giving me a refund. I finally got a measly $10. But what can I order with that!? I’m certainly not going to chance giving this corrupt company my credit card information!

Idiotic Driver

I put in writing where at my job site to deliver to. When the courier approached he called me and again, I told him exactly where to go. On the monitors I saw him come in, then turn around, and head to the other side of the building. I asked him where he was going as he was right there. He said there it was closed(?????). My co-worker had to run up and around to get my lunch from this idiotic driver. And my food was cold.

SkiptheDishes acct hacked at 1…

My SkiptheDishes acct was hacked at 1 AM July 16th and again at 12:27 AM July 17, 2022.

I have changed the password, deleted the credit card info, and notified the restaurant, my credit card co., Skip, and the police.

Whoever it was, they managed to order 5 Bacon Eggers from A&W for delivery to my house (which I never received) and then changed the address.

SkiptheDishes has made a full refund to my credit card and thankfully my account only showed a few of the digits, not the entire card # before I deleted it. However, I am still taking precautions and checking for any further charges to my card.

I suspect the driver was in on it, but that is for Skip and the police to investigate. Stay safe folks!

Sick of bad service.

I've gotten some lousy service from Skip before but I was always willing to give them another chance. Tonight, however, was the last straw. I waited well over the time limit for my food but it was never delivered. Eventually my neighbour brought it to my place and said that the driver had left it with him. According to my neighbour, when he tried to tell the Skip driver that he had the wrong address, the driver's response was "I don't give a ****." Skip has offered me a refund but after this I'm done with their poor customer service.

I placed an order through…

I placed an order through Skipthedishes, Skip Express and was sent a wrong item (M&M peanuts 200g instead of M&M peanut butter 230g) the free item was missing. Maybe they were out of the peanut butter M&Ms but they didn't reach out and let me know or ask if there was a suitable substitution.

I complained and was told, "SkipTheDishes has consistently unmet your expectations and you’ve had a large number of requests for refunds. Due to this activity, we aren’t able to offer any reimbursement to any of your accounts going forward."

As if it's my fault the restaurant or Skip Express messes up. Ridiculous. I have had some wrong orders- mostly when I order from McDonalds and at least once through Skip Express when they sent me turkey lunchables instead of the hungryman turkey dinners I ordered. And after they refunded their mix up, when I reordered the turkey dinners they didn't have the quantity I ordered in stock and told me they would refund me for the items they didn't have.

But somehow its my fault that some of the orders had issues... So am I supposed to be happy with that and just accept the restaurants messups? Ridiculous. I used to recommend SkipTheDishes to friends but will no longer be doing so.

Terrible service

Terrible service!
I ordered dinner at 7:58pm on Friday may 6, 2022. At 9:32pm I contacted customer service through the chat feature after 30 minutes of “please wait I will sort this out for you” delays I requested my order be canceled and my credit card refunded. After more “please wait we are contacting the courier” crap I again requested a refund and my order be canceled along with instructions to cancel my skip account. The rep ended the chat. I continued the conversation with a second rep and asked again for instructions to cancel my account and they responded with a new courier is on the way with my order that’s now 2 1/2 hours late. I responded with with No, my order was canceled and I want instructions to cancel my account. The chat was immediately ended by the second rep.

This Company is Nothing but Liars and Thieves

This company is nothing but liars and thieves. I ordered a dinner tonight that was not delivered. When I contacted their chat line to complain, they said it was delivered to a different address I supposedly gave them - total lie. My account info is 100% correct. When I asked them what address it was delivered to they refused to answer. I sent my complaint to their support e-mail address and received a response denying my claim with a copy of their T&C attached. This company is run by a group of low lifes.

Loved and supported for years, Now They are AWFUL

I used to love Skip the Dishes, however, through the last year, their service has gotten awful. I used to only have 1 maybe 2 issues a YEAR, now every 2 of 3 orders will have an issue. As a result, their customer service has also gotten worse. Chat agents will abruptly leave the chat when they don't want to talk to you. Or they will blatantly lie about the amount of a refund you will receive. I have been told I would be refunded the full price of an order, but I only received a partial refund. I have also received an order that was not mine and had to fight to get a full refund.

Last night was the last straw as I believe I was blocked from the support chat. I was told I would receive an extra $5 for waiting over 3.5 hours for my order. When I didn't receive the compensation I contacted chat support to see why I never received it. I was told very rudely that it wasn't their policy. This person then sent me an out-of-context copy of a message from the support agent I had talked to earlier, to try and prove they never told me they would give me a refund. I had a copy of this chat and sent them the line where they told me I would receive extra compensation. The agent then left the chat. I have not been able to get into contact with an agent since. I suspected I had been blocked from support and made a new account. On the new account, I reached an agent immediately without ever having made an order.
I don't give a crap about a $5 compensation. If I was told politely that it wasn't their policy and that it was a mistake by the other agent I would have let it go. But instead, they lied to me, trying to gaslight me into believing I was remembering the conversation wrong. Then to be blocked when I show them that I have proof.

I have not dealt with such unprofessional support, and will no longer be using their services.
