Beware of Government Help
I had no problem and l made good part time money.The only thing is when someone order it takes 8min to get their and 15min to costumer $6 not worth the gas. If you are on unemployment now and working good but if you are getting the $2000 from government beware you will have to pay it back if you work also I had to stop today delivery. I like working with skip but I can't have both.

Horrible! I made 3 orders tonight through the skip the dishes app, and 2 of my 3 orders didn't show up but the courier said they were delivered. After 4 hrs of dealing with customer service i have to wait 5 days to get my over 100 dollars back and i did not get any of my food they gave me a small credit to there site which is useless to me beacuse I will never be using this service again. The couriers basically robbed me. The last couier i could see on his gps on the app that he was sitting across the highway from my location. Like wth?! So displease with the service recieved I will not be using this app again nor will anyone I know, not worth the stress and time and money wasted. I ended up ordering from ricardo pizza who delivered my pizza properly. I do not understand how a company can get away with this unprofessionl behavior, if i did this behaviour at my work I'd be fired.
Bad Attitude
Driver did not have my apt number just the house number. I ran out front to meet him. He had already dropped the package off at my nabours door step. Which is fine. It was my mistake. But to b rude to me and say how the hell is he supposed to know there's an apt around the side. Next time put the proper info down. He lectured me for a good 5 mins. Won't b using skip again.

I placed an order their system timed out they still took money from my account and when I spoke to their customer service rep they couldn't find said order because it was never placed they just took my money and I was advised to just contact my bank so they can sort it out. Unbelievable

Ordered my food and they changed my address, they told me that my food was delivered like 40km away from where they supposed to deliver my order. Got charged but never received the food.
I thought I was on a prank show
I’ve used skip a lot over the last year and thought all the complaints were exaggerated....Until yesterday. I got an alert on the app saying the driver would be here soon. Then around 5 minutes later i received an email saying my order was cancelled. I went on the chat and they told me they attempted delivery so I wouldn’t get reimbursed. I told them I was waiting and nobody turned up. Also because there was a lot of snow falling I could clearly see there was no wheel marks in my street so no vehicle had driven up there for a while. The lies didn’t stop. They said I had received calls and a text message (I got nothing) then they said I had the wrong number on the app so that was my fault. Once I confirmed my number they then said my address was wrong, then it was the driver was turned away. After I questioned that they then said the driver rang my doorbell and started the 5 minute timer before driving off. It genuinely felt like I was on a prank show.
They still refuse to give me my money back. So I’ll never use this company again. Not that they’ll care. All the reviews say exactly the same stuff but plenty of people are still using them.

O stars. Been waiting over an hour for food that they say has been delivered. They left the food at the main entrance of the apartmentment building and left. That's what they are saying. My husband was downstairs waiting for them. No one showed up. When I finally got to speak to someone after texting back and forth for quite some time with no response other than there is nothing we can do it's already paid for their answer was the same. No offer of refund nothing. Worst experience ever with any delivery. I will be sure to spread the word about these douche bags. Believe me I am not done by a long shot. F#&k you skippy.

Where do I start. First I ordered a simple Tim Hortons order for my daughter and then 5 mins later I get a notice that my order was cancelled. Funny tho when I finally reached customer service after a few days of trying they tell me my order was delivered but no one was around to receive it. The flippin' order was paid in full why wouldn't someone collect it. CAUSE IT WAS CANCELLED WE WERE INFORMED!!! So they (the delivery people) got to enjoy my order at my expense. No refund for me. Frig skip the dishes!! I'm starting to use Uber from this day forward!! Frigging rip off artists!!!!!!😠😠😠😠😠
Did not receive my order
I never received my order. I was looking at the tracker and next thing you know it says the order has been delivered when nobody has even driven past my street. Honestly, the competition is miles better and cheaper as well. If you are a restaurant and you are deciding on which service to go with I beg you to go with either Uber Eats or Doordash.
Also, it's probably the slowest of the group between Uber Eats and Doordash. My order without delay took over 2 hours.

I ordered a meal for $50, driver never showed up, then he took the meal home!!! Went to the restaurant myself in case he brings back my dinner after no delivery, the Manager told me "Skip the dishes" drivers pick up meals, not deliver and just take them home. I believe in Montreal its a proper scam, some people sign up, do a few rounds, collect the drivers fees and disappear with the food. never a refund! When I complained about them to our porter at our apartment building, it turns out 6 other people from the same building had the exact same experience!!!!!

Wish I could give it no stars as I feel 1 star does not do how poor a service this is. Orders always take forever to arrive the app blames it on the business being busier than usual when it is in fact due to the fact they have no drivers. They look for you to tip on the app even before the driver arrives. A tip should not be required maybe they do not understand a tip is for service provided. The lack of service is not always the drivers fault but the Skip app but really why would you tip for cold and late food. They do this because they pay the drivers little or nothing obviously since they never seem to be able to keep drivers as it is always someone different and rarely do you see a repeat driver. As for customer service it sucks and is possibly the worst ever. Do yourself a favor and use one of the other services or even stick to businesses that have their own delivery service. Worst experience ever !! Thanks for taking my money and providing me with the most horrible service ever !!

If I could give Skip the Dishes a 0 star rating, I would. They are beyond horrible.
I have had several instances where my order was mysteriously "cancelled". When I called customer service, they said it was because I didn't answer my cell phone. My phone was on vibrate and I was waiting in the building lobby watching for the delivery person. No one ever tried to come into the building (it's a very accessible office building which is right on the side of the road with very clearly visible signage and parking on the street. I asked them for a refund since I didn't get my food and they refused. I was BEYOND angry and will never order from them again.
Do yourself a favour - if you actually want to eat the food that your order, DON'T order from Skip The Dishes. They don't care about their customers AT ALL.

Would have put a negative star but not option offered. I placed my first delivery order with SkipTheDishes all excited watched the little car move along and arrive at my Condo Building after 45 minutes.. Got a call said hi and buzzed driver in. Waited A few minutes, thinking it is taking him along time to come up. Then noticed order cancelled. First chat guy said they tried to contact me but unavailable so driver left and no refund available. WHAT... I was waiting by my door with the phone in my hand. 2nd and 3rd Chat guy said the exact same thing.
Went down to concierge and viewed security video and no driver even entered the building. As far as I am concerned the driver stole my food and delivery and tip.
Will try to cancel Credit Card and put in complaint with BetterBusiness Bureau tomorrow.

There have been three additional orders charged with no order placed. Had to cancel my card. My order history validates this yet nothing is being done. Will never use or recommend skip the dishes.

Order often. Then started having issues. Forget getting help from skip. Their answer is simply we will look into it. Maybe you get a refund or partial refund but your still out of luck.
Today was working a 12 hour shift. Knew i didnt have a ton of lunch time. So pre ordered on skip. Made sure to fill in the comment field for the driver to make sure he got to the right entrance as the building has two.
Driver arrives at wrong entrance. Sits and does nothing. Doesnt call me to ask yo where are you. Doesnt check other entrance. I can see him on cameras just sitting there.
I contact skip helpdesk. Tell them driver is on wrong side call him let him know.
20 mins of we will look into it later. Driver has left. My lunch is over. The helpdesk has finally finished investigating this complicated matter you know instead of calling the driver.
Good job skip the only delivery service where you can always count on them having no idea where they drivers are, qho they are or what to do.
I have had many bad experiences…
I have had many bad experiences recently thinking that things might changed for this company, but over the last year or so, the service has really gone down hill. The projected time frame is completely incorrect. From a 24 minute projected time frame became an 1.5 hour to delivery. I reached out to customer support to track and to cancel my order and refund my money but their response if any were at a mute. I have different accounts for food delivery services such as ubers eats and they are amazing. The only reason why I decided to go with skip once again was due to the restaurant selection. I honestly didn't want want to do a review to tarnish a business this way but they really got to go or compete in a better and respectful way to consumers. Even notifing the clientele or just simply refund their money when the order is taking so long without any responses. I have a screenshot that I have saved with our correspondence. Hopefully I can attach it somehow through my phone if not anyone can just simple ask me. It's pretty disappointing when you pay for a service and the customer service respect to clients are too a minimal. Shame on you skipthedishes.ca, and I will no longer use your app. (based out of Richmond, BC, Canada)

Just because I was a few seconds late they cancelled my order and wouldn't give me my money back or even give me skip credits. They basically stole $48.29 from me.
Skip tried to steal my money
PSA: If Skip tries to steal your money on an undelivered order, threaten to report the charge as fraudulent to your bank, they'll refund you REAL quick. And if not, well just report it as fraud which it is, you'll get your money back and I imagine the banks don't look too kindly on such practices.
I have also been a victim of fraud via someone hacking into my account on the other side of the country and ordering food. Caught it in time with the banks but the inconvenience this cost me... Skip did not even offer a $5 gift card for this.

I placed an order, my first order ever with skip the dishes. I was standing in front of my living room window, with my tablet in my hand looking at the GPS, waiting for this driver to arrive. The GPS said the driver was out front so I kept looking for him. Then I got a pop-up on my tablet saying my order is cancelled.
Now after speaking with 3 SkipTheDishes reps, I am forced to call my credit card company to dispute the claim because they will not refund my order. This is basically theft. I'll never order again, nor with I recommend, and I am now on a personal mission to write and bash this company anywhere and everywhere I can.
Don't mess with a person's food when they're hungry. Garbage service, garbage company.
