These guys are jerks

These guys are jerks! Have problems sending emails to hotmail and gmail accounts- they bounce back saying Skymesh server has problems. Spoke to their filipino call centre (YUK!) and get rehersed snow job..."we understand your concerns....we are looking into it." Been doing so for over 3 months. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TURKEYS.

When monopolies get in the way of service

We live in a suburb of Perth WA but it’s in a small rural pocket - but still a Perth metropolitan suburb! But you can't get NBN or any other fast internet connect other than Starlink (and I hate Musk so don't want to support him polluting space with thousands of satellites) or a fixed wireless service. I thought I'd try Skymesh as they promised a fairly good service at a fair enough price. Placed the order a month ago and was told that the soonest that they could install anything was 5 March - OK I can live with that. Then the 4th March I get a text to say we can't install this on 6 March but could on 5 March in the afternoon please ring this number to confirm. I called to then be told sorry we don't actually have you booked in anywhere you should take this up with Skymesh. So around the loop we go and Skymesh cant get anyone at NBN to talk to them but promised to get back to me this week with an answer. The answer arrived today to say that the soonest they can do the install is 2 April - 2 months after the the initial order. I know that NBN Co has agreed service standards with all of its providers but no one seems to hold them to account for them - that's what happens when you have a monopoly on the market. NBN can do what they want with no comeback!

WORST ISP EVER

When asked them to put a new service on port 1 of my NBN NTD they instead cancelled my current NBN servers on port 2 which I never asked them to do, they never sent me a welcome Email what's so ever so had no details about what was happening or even my customer/account number. A day later my NBN service stopped working on port 2, then 5 minutes later I get an Email from that provider advising it had been cancelled. I'd realised Skymesh had then completely screwed up my order, tried to call the orders team at Skymesh, on hold for 1 hour, and then I was finally at the front of the queue, they hung up on me. Had to speak to the sales team who only take 20 seconds to answer to ensure they can rip off as many potential customers as possible and raised this with them, they never called back. Then spoke to tech support who blamed my BYO router (I'm an IT engineer so this is childs play) for half an hour was told it's all fine and activated and it's because I've misconfigured the router or the router has an issue (not the case, as it was working up until they cancelled the service). They said I need to wait 24 hours before they escalate the issue which I thought was insane. Of course still nothing the next day, spoke to them and tore into tech support who said they'd get a supervisor to contact me, which they did and they were in Australia at least, the thing was their level was what others consider first level tech support so he still wasn't across much. Said to leave it with him after telling me 1000 details about everything, and the next day in the afternoon (over 48 hours later) the service was online. I went with Skymesh to get onto their 100/20 Fixed Wireless NBN plan, and now am only get 10/10, I came from Exetel on a 75/10 plan which I was getting 70/10 out of them which I thought was good but an potential 10 up will be great for working from home. Anyhow I've signed up with MATE now which are the best NBN provider I've dealt with to date (took 7 minutes to activate the service on the port I asked for), the only thing that wasn't an issue was cancelling with these clowns, and I bet they will still try and charge my credit card even though they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee

Complete scammers and thief's

Complete scammers and thief's.
They took out double payment of $284. At first completely denied getting the two payments, than showed bank statements. Now they are saying I have to wait 10 days for a refund and to be patient. Was on the phone with them all day. Complete disgrace of a company

UTTER DISGRACE - SCAMMERS OPERATING AS AN AUSTRALIAN OWNED BUSINESS

Joined 5th November 2025 based on the fact Skymesh advertise they were Australian owned and sales woman Megan assured me they had Australian based tech-support.

By the 14th November 2025 we had NO
INTERNET SERVICE AT ALL AND NO ONE PICKING UP at the Skymesh Service Desk.

For nearly 4 days we were without the internet. No apology. No 24hr follow-up (as promised) after the restoration of service. If they had, they would know my internet service was NOT performing as advertised.

On Saturday the 13th of December 2025 the service ceases to stream TV (and films). The latency is so enormous the best it can do is play trailers or home made videos on YouTube.

DOWNLOAD SPEED ranges from 2.18Mbps up to 17.39Mbps. The higher readings are "ALWAYS" ON Ookla!?!!

I'm now 6 DAYS WITHOUT AN INTERNET SERVICE. I've phone Tech Support for HELP around 9 or 10 times. (I can't sit on the phone all day). I've also called the general service desk and the saleswoman who sold me the service. All promise to call back and NEVER DO!

So I tried sending a form and some emails asking for my refund because Skymesh is doing nothing to fix the problem and they advertise a money back guarantee if their service is unsatisfactory in the first 30 days.

NOW THEY ARE GHOSTING ME AND
I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN CAUGHT IN A SCAM THAT'S SET-UP TO CATCH AUSTRALIANS.

Yesterday I read reviews from other Aussies who cannot get a response from Skymesh and are sick of chasing them on the to get the Internet Service they have paid for.

P.S. I am yet to learn who the Australian owner is but they should be hung, drawn and quartered AS SHOULD THE GOVERNMENT'S COMMUNICATIONS OVERSIGHT "IF" an Irish Receptionist, an English Saleswoman and a couple of Phillipino ?Techs at a Call Centre "IN THE PHILIPPINES" are able to get away with operating as an Australian owned and operated business.

Maybe not

Hadn't realised this company had changed hands until I tried to request a hold be put on my account as my computer is out of action. This was not a problem in the past but apparently not an option anymore & I must cancel my service instead! But when put through to the cancellation Dept you are just left on hold until you give up & call back. My 2 earlier emails were not acknowledged. And 30 days notice must be given so we vill still deduct whether you can access or not. Felt like I was in a Monty Python skit although no-one was laughing.

We had a great skymesh experience right…

We had a great skymesh experience right up until cancellation.
Coverage was good, speeds were ok but had very few drops outs over the 3 years we had it.
I did find cancelling my service when we moved near on impossible. Multiple phone calls with no one to answer my calls. No email address on any invoice or the website to contact.
Wasn't a great experience at the end and was really disappointed.

Signed up with Skymesh

Signed up with Skymesh a couple of months ago. Setup was fine, the internet works well, and support has been helpful when I’ve needed it. No complaints so far.

Customer service and complaints…

Customer service and complaints management is so disappointing. We started with Skymesh flyers ago because we could get Australian support. They have outsourced to another country and the experience today was dismal. After attempting to reset a password and discuss decreasing our plan, 33 minutes and 5 identity checks where I was asked to spell my whole email address, then half way through the “customer service” person just read it out. Then was deliberately disconnected. Then after calling to complain, they said they couldn’t provide a reference number, said they would email. No email received 8 hrs later. See ya Skymesh, I’m done.

What a mess!!

What a mess!!! Just tried upgrade my plan to get unlimited and 100 speed. They told me it was active, then it was rejected, then it stayed very slow and unstable and no speed, then the speed over 2 days was maybe going to be ok they said, now I need to give them a 3x a day fixed Ethernet cable to desktop computer speed readings, so they might figure it out…
And getting charged $106 from my bank, invoiced $104,95, but can’t access my invoice to understand why a $84.95 plan is already charged too high and not delivered… they merged my old account with the new, and after 3 calls I now have a new account but can’t do anything in it… wasting hours of my time, no result, dysfunctional! And no resolution.

The technical aspect of Skymesh is…lack of customer service

The technical aspect of Skymesh is excellent but the customer service is non-existent . I have complained a number of times about the repeat messages I receive concerning NBN maintenence Here is just one example , between 19-20 June 2025 I received 35 emails concerning a possible NBN maintenance issue,I have complained before and nothing is done , I recently asked for Skymesh to reply to my complaint but no answer . I have rang and when I advised I had a customer complaint they just hang up . I am now looking for another provider who can service rural communities.....Anthony Lynch

Zero stars

Less than a one - I'm no longer a customer, haven't been for months and now they have sent me numerous. Seriously didn't think their customer service could get worse. I've returned all the invoices stating repeatedly that I am not a customer and today they took $10 (yes ten dollars) from my account! Dodgiest company ever - do not under any circumstances use their services. And if you have already left - be even more careful and check your account!!!

Frustratingly bad customer service

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My satellite NBN has not worked for over 3 weeks and I have been unable to get assistance. Call backs never happen, a cable that was to be sent never arrived, hold wait times in excess of 2 hours are the norm. I have given up and contacted the communications ombudsman.

BUYER BEWARE - No support service

Customer service is nonexistent. These past three weeks we have spent in excess of 30 hours on the 'phone waiting for a knowledgeable (???) person to talk to - only to be told 'no it's your computer, not our service'. At great expense to us (as we live 40km's out of town, we employed the services of a computer technician, and his findings were, guess what, yes it's a Skymesh fault between the dish and the box on the wall.
Waited another three hours and then once I became No.1 on the list I was hung up on by Skymesh.
We are paying nearly &100.00 per month for a service that is not being provided (streaming etc.) and come Monday I will be looking at my options with Fair Trade N.S.W.

Rubbish customer service. Two days on hold.

I have been a Skymesh customer for over 5 years and the customer service was great. All they do is resell NBN and some other telco products so they are a billing and customer service company which they now fail miserably at. They had an online system to report faults and also a call back. Now they have neither, only the call centre. 4 hours yesterday and 4 hours today on hold cut if at position 3 yesterday. See how it goes today. When you need to use you phone all day like me it makes life pretty hard when you have to use it on hold for a day or two. Skymesh is a joke. Don’t go there.

Absolute shockers.

Absolute shockers.
They apparently have 4 payment methods... all are only to be made via debit/credit card. So all incur a fee. There is no way to make a bpay or any other payment so EVERY bill paid incurs a fee added on to what they take out and this does NOT show on what you have paid them.
So for a standard bill of $104 they take $106 out of your account but still shows that you have paid $104. How is that legal???
Constant buffering.
Zero customer service.
I can't wait until we have Starlink set up so I can give this rip off company the flick.
Biggest mistake for anyone rural.
Skip the rubbish & ripoff and get Starlink from the start.
