Only gave a star because I have to
Only gave a star because I have to. Absolutely useless. Never answer the phone. Can’t connect as instructions are useless and not helpful if you don’t have the “standard” plug in and go NBN. Customer service is dreadful, and you are unlikely to get to speak to anyone.
4 years same old same old wait for…
4 years same old same old wait for minimum of 3 hours to speak to a tech, go through the same old same old, then call back to ask what is happening with the NBN guy or Telstra coming out to tell me time and time again the case was closed!! like seriously!! I work from home and need my landline which is usually the issue. I contract so I don't get paid or holidays etc, so usually minimum of 3 weeks of no pay or phone to get something resolved then within a few months same old same old....Starlink is looking good for this regional person
Stay away they provide no technical…
Stay away they provide no technical support or customer service of any kind and I always had issues with billing.
Avoid them unless you love waiting on the phone
Charged us two months and a modem. Never got connected. Spoke to a supervisor Hayden and he refused to cancel the subscription as it is against company policy. He made a meeting time for a technician the next day and they didn’t call. I spent many hours on the phone waiting. They don’t care. Completed resolution form and they tried to make me speak with a technician and offered one months credit. We declined and they gave a refund of one month. You can cancel you just have to ring and find the right place. Out of pocket over $200 and spent many many hours on the phone. An absolutely horrible experience.
They NEVER answer the phone
They never answer the phone, even for an urgent technical problem. Customer service is appalling. They spent well over 12 months doing upgrades, during which time I could not log into my account, see my billing or usage. Whenever I called or emailed them I never had a response. Then Skymesh billed me extra for paying by visa debit card, which they had on file. They do not offer a way to pay your bill for free, as you cannot pay at the post office and they don’t offer BPay like every other ‘Australian’ company. On hold for an hour currently and counting.. hopeless.
Stay clear SkyMesh
Stay well clear of SkyMess. They started charging me for internet that I didn't have. This is my second week with SkyMess and today and I have had no internet for 2 days. I have waited on the phone both days for over 2 hours and nothing. Trust me they are the worst. I told them to close my account.
Minus 10- not trustworthy Again this…
Minus 10- not trustworthy Again this company has acted fraudulently, shady business practices.
I have a letter stating the cancellation of the service and no charges. They wait and charge? Very misleading business practices- do not use this company- not only is it stressful to deal with unethical companies but the time to deal with these companies is appalling.
Terrible avoid
Terrible avoid
Took the money before connection of the internet and then spent hours on the phone what’s app no help at all
Terrible internet provider
Extremely slow internet, most expensive, terrible service and technical support, no communication for billing until bill reached over $1400, direct debit set up but to no avail. Constant no internet connection and too slow for anything stable, don't use this company. I'm now in debt for a service that has been poorly provided, seriously affecting my credit rating. Look elsewhere if u want consistent internet coverage and billing without issues
Don't even consider Skymesh
Don't even consider Skymesh, nothing good to say about them. Paying for virtually no service. Have had to going to Ombudsman twice due to them overcharging, now I'm with Starlink which is brilliant so far. Unfortunately even though I cancelled Skymesh are still trying to take money from me.
Pathetic service
For an Australian company, their service is pathetic, their Chinese made routers are crap, and why should loyal customers wait 30 to 50 minutes on the phone for Technical Support, only to choose to hang up, because they can't get any help and service. You can't get through on the phone, no one is available on the online chat, and the service on WhatsApp is slow, and clocks off at 5pm. Very unAustralian and unreliable. Go with any other company than this one!
dont bother
dont bother , customer service is non existent , always updating something when your trying to change plans, wireless just drops in and out whenever ....sent an email to them about the service 7 weeks later got a reply with instructions how to look for faults if i can find another reliable provider i will
just Generally Bad stay away
very slack customer service don't expect to be able to call after 6pm no one will answer now they are raising the price of my plan to keep me on the $79 I was on went back to $69 now I receive email saying prince increase back to $79 for a worse service tech support is hopeless and quite often very rude the service is not very good I cant even stream news programs consent buffering I feel like I'm back on dial-up very poor speed not the correct speed contracted but you cant do a thing about it
I made a major mistake singing up too this pathetic service they blame your hardware not they real problem they network is not good stay away please don't waste your money give it to Elon Musk and his starlink I skipper boats way out to sea and always have reliable internet anywhere
my employer smarter than me
I have had an absolute disaster with…
I have had an absolute disaster with skymesh.
Wifi calling will not connect. At the start my satellite was installed incorrectly as per technician that fixed.
The whole Time thus was my fault. I have now been on hold for 2.20 hours without talking to anyone. Customer service us non existant.
They are a very poor service provider.
Even after asking for a router they never sent one out. They cannot follow any customer needs.
Poom elsewhere people skymesh is nothing
SkyMesh is living in the dark ages...
To whom it may concern,
With a heavy heart and a mind ablaze with righteous indignation, I beseech your attention to the egregious technological missteps that have marred my experience with Skymesh Internet service. The essence of my discontent lies not merely in the realm of inconvenience, but in the profound betrayal of progress epitomized by your continued reliance on Geostationary Satellite Systems (GEO).
Allow me to elucidate upon the gravest sin of GEO technology: latency. Latency, that insidious specter haunting the digital realm, is the bane of online existence, and yet it festers unchecked within the confines of Skymesh's purview. GEO satellites, perched stoically at an unfathomable distance of approximately 35,786 kilometers above the equator, impose upon us an intolerable burden of delay.
Consider, if you will, the journey undertaken by a humble packet of data traversing this vast expanse of space. With each passing millisecond, it must endure the tortuous pilgrimage betwixt Earth and satellite, beset by the relentless march of time and the ineffable laws of physics. By the time it reaches its intended destination, it emerges bruised and battered, a mere shadow of its former self.
This woeful tale of latency is but a symptom of a deeper malaise: the inherent limitations of GEO architecture. GEO satellites, bound by the shackles of their stationary orbits, offer coverage akin to a flickering candle in the vast expanse of space. Remote regions languish in digital desolation, bereft of the connectivity they so desperately crave.
In contrast, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites beckon as beacons of hope amidst the darkness. Positioned at altitudes ranging from 160 to 2,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface, these celestial sentinels offer not only swifter transmission times but also expansive coverage that knows no bounds. Their dynamic orbits ensure constant motion, weaving a tapestry of connectivity that spans the globe.
It is within this context of technological prowess and promise that Skymesh's obstinate adherence to GEO technology appears all the more lamentable. The founders of geosynchronous equatorial orbit, in their shortsightedness, have bequeathed unto us a legacy of latency and limitation. It is time to cast off these shackles and embrace the liberating embrace of LEO satellites.
In conclusion, I implore you to heed this clarion call for change. Embrace innovation, embrace progress, and let not the specter of latency haunt our digital aspirations any longer. The time for action is now, lest we be consigned to the annals of technological irrelevance.
Yours in fervent anticipation,
A Concerned Customer
Absolutely useless..continually…
Absolutely useless..continually disconnected without even answering the call, a definite cancellation....internet always dropping out...on a daily basis...don't use this company...absolute ly incompetent fools
Unable to contact Skymesh.
Like many others I was making direct debit payments every month for Skymesh internet. However, after 6 months the direct debit stopped. I have since tried using their website to make further payments (I now owe a lot of money) and the website (mySkymesh.net.au) has not been working for months eventhough I get referred to this website continually. I have tried to ring Skymesh but I’m always disconnected after an hour of waiting. I’m at loss as to what I should do or even how to cancel my service.
Does not work, seems to be a scam
We have had Skymesh for 3 months now, it started
off working most of the time, thought night times very slow.
Now it hardly works at all, at any time, and not at all at nighttime.
We have been on hold for a phone call with them for over an hour, only to be hung up on.
Then we finally got through and it dropped on their end.
It is extremely frustrating trying to resolve anything with them.
I just want to cancel my service now and can’t even do that! Their online website has been “upgrading” for the whole time we have had an account.
I would not recommend to anyone!
As I read other reviews, it’s looking to be more and more like a scam company. There seems to be no way out of dealing with them.
Certainly is a Sky Mess
I have been with SkyMesh for years, without a hitch. They provided a good service and were easy to deal with but that has all gone out the window. The internet connection is fine but half their online services have not worked for several months, supposedly due to an upgrade, as mentioned in other posts below. Really? How long does it take to fix a faulty upgrade? My direct debit stopped working and I am unable to make a payment. SkyMess have not responded to my numerous emails over the past months and when calling, I have been placed hold for up to 50 minutes before giving up. I just want to pay my overdue bill but they won't contact me to tell me how. The time I have wasted on this can no longer be justified. They're extremely unprofessional and have now ruined their previously good name. Time to look elsewhere.
No functional fixed wireless service…
No functional fixed wireless service anymore. NBN states no outage in my area. Can’t raise an answer from skymesh using their telephone line.
