I needed a small travel cpap device fairly quickly due to the limited luggage capacity for a trip to New Zealand and Australia after Christmas. I was given great guidance and advise about a mini-CPAP. The sleep doctor was patient and very helpful/informative. I highly recommend the Sleep Doctor guidance and products. CPAP user for three years due to AFIB.

My first mouthpiece wasn’t that comfortable. This most recent one was instantly so. I slept a full 7 hrs with it the first night; waking up a bit more rested than usual. My sleep apnea was barely on the chart, but my snoring was apparently off the chart! My wife said I didn’t snore at all with it in. Snoring often indicates sleep apnea, and that’s a silent killer. I’m a retired doc for what that’s worth. Just do it!

His Customer Service team is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! I have NEVER GOTTEN SUCH GREAT HELP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, and they are all so kind, such nice people, as well. He’s the man to go to that will help you heal any kind of sleep issues you are having. Before I signed up. Just 10 minutes ago, i saw almost all of Dr. Breus’ UTube videos. I am determined to follow all of his excellent suggestions, and get healed myself! Can’t wait to get started!

I ordered my home sleep study and within a few days had my results and met with their team to review the results and determine the best equipment to meet my needs.
On the procurement side it was great working with Ally on my new CPAP machine. She was very knowledgeable and ensured that I got the best price.

I just got the device. So far, I called customer service for a question. After waiting for 15 minutes a voice message came on stating they will call me back. Then it was another 40 minutes for someone to call me back. The customer service representative tone was rude and inpatient. He didn’t seem interested in answering my questions. He should get another job. Next day, ready to set up. I had difficulty setting up. Cassandra, customer rep, was very helpful. She tried for awhile to set up. Problem: device was registered to someone else and sent to another customer. I had someone else’s device. A representative called and stated that sometimes device gets sent to wrong person. She will be sending me a new one. I did get the sleep test and consultation went well. In summary : All of their customer service reps were helpful and nice except one, wait times could be improved, and rechecking scanning before sending out.

They gave me a machine that was too strong. I’ve asked them several times to exchange it, but they refuse. They gave me two masks that never created a suction around my face, and I was unable to use them because of the flimsy material. They are now refusing to refund my money and telling me that I have to have a store credit even though I’ve never used the machine more than one hour.

The at home sleep study test came quickly in the mail after my initial evaluation video appt. I was able to complete it at my convenience. The instructions were very easy to understand. The results were evaluated quickly too. My video appt with provider to explain results was easy to schedule and I didn't have to wait longer than a few days for appt. Much more convenient and comfortable than trying to get into a sleep lab for an overnight test. They also gave the option to buy directly from them a CPAP machine and supplies, or an option to go thru a vendor that accepts insurance and the prescription from the Sleep Doctor site. This company just makes treating Sleep apnea and sleep disturbances so much easier easier!

I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea about five years ago. I needed a sleep (re)test to qualify for a new oral appliance. I was working with a doctor at a health system, but she and the entire clinic were unresponsive.
Instead, I worked with Sleep Doctor to get an at-home sleep test, analysis of the test results and subsequent prescription for a new oral appliance.
Overall, it was a much easier and more-efficient process than dealing with my local doctor and clinic.
I was extremely pleased with Sleep Doctor.

This is a sales organization, not a healthcare provider. They will ship the at-home test quickly, and show a prescription out, but anything past that and you are on your own. My PCP, insurance company, and medical provider all indicated they had issues with the prescription validity. Sleep Doctor's customer support said (and I quote): "Your home sleep study prescription from Sleep Doctor is valid for one year. If you need a renewal after that period, a new prescription will be required." Customer support then told me the prescription is good forever and any problems were due to (clears throat) my doctor, my medical equipment provider, my insurance company, *and their own chatbot.* Use at your own risk.

Update: Aaron wrote a nice comment here but I emailed him right away and also didn’t hear back after five days. So that’s another empty promise for public reviews which aligns with what I experienced with this company. Will update if something happens.
Biggest spammers ever: they terrorize you with texts, emails, even calls every single day before, during and after your purchase. Never experienced it in this scale. Their unsubscribe link doesn’t work, which is illegal; their customer service ignores all requests around that and just doesn’t answer, a privacy officer contact doesn’t exist (they only mention contact@ as a contact). This company will drive you crazy.
Also, sleep tests regularly don’t work, because they’re unable to send you the correct PIN for the watchpat device. Just order somewhere else and avoid SLEEPNESS nights because of this stress.

But again, the people were great.

I did two studies with them. The second one was a week ago. There was no confirmation that they had been received. I called twice but I can't even get them to give me a consultation appointment. They said I would be receiving an email, but I never did. I'm not calling again. I just filed a Visa dispute. In 2025 this is how customer "service" works.

The Sleep Test was so much easier to set up than expected. I have no intuitive ability with anything technical - but the test consisted of a pulseoximeter and a watch with super easy instructions. The Respiratory Therapist that went over the results of my study was named Riley and he understood the results inside and out. More importantly - he said he would be available afterwords by email and he was! I sent questions on two occasions and he answered them pomptly. The machine that was presrcibed was sold in their store. Again it was super easy. And using that Bipap machine has changed my life - more energy, better mood, improved physical and cognitive functioning by a factor of 10!

After several emailed questions and replies, I decided to purchase the device. At the start of the process a popup appeared asking if I'd like a special deal on 2-day shipping? Sure! Clicked that but after payment, no such deal was apparent. Instead, I was advised device ships in 2-5 business days.
Also during the process I filled in a health info sheet and clicked the link to book a video consult which I understood is required. But then I was told it wasn't required in certain states. Great! So I went ahead w/ all permissions, forms, etc. I paid by check via PayPal. Stupid. I should have paid with a credit card because I get a bunch of confirmation emails that say they won't ship UNTIL I COMPLETE A VIDEO EXAM W/THEIR SLEEP DOCTOR! But they said I didn't need one... Sick of Sleep Doctor's games, I responded by saying CANCEL MY ORDER and told them why. Also left a voicemail. Then I get an email with a Zendesk link that tells me I probably can't cancel. Did this solve my problem? I clicked Thumbs Down. Then I get an email from people who are supposedly out of the office til morning that they're glad the matter is SOLVED. What?! Nothing was solved! I didn't click anything that said it is solved. Actually, their ZenDesk link said I'm probably stuck with paying for a service that has been fraught with lies from the beginning. Nothing is as it seems or as they say it is; nothing is straightforward; count on obfuscation all the way. Disgusting.
Addendum: Someone called to confirm cancellation so thanks for that. However, I'm getting an avalanche of sleepdoctor promo emails AND when I click the "unsubscribe" link I get a ublock Origin tracker warning about the unsubscribe link.
This sketchy company reeks of obfuscation and scammy opportunism.
Update: I got a breezy "hiya not our style..." response from Sleep Doctor. Unfortunately, I'm still getting their marketing emails. At this point, I guess I should complain to my ISP - despite my best efforts to block emails from Sleep Doctor, their relentless (breezy!) marketing emails (25% off!) are still getting through. Go away!
