This is a horrible scam company
This is a horrible scam company. They lie and don’t tell you up front that you have to pay all of the money for the ticket before your flight date.
They don’t even show you your payment plan until after you book and pay a deposit.
They tried taking 1k out of my account per week.
I’m filing a lawsuit against them. I’ll fight this till the end of the earth.
Do you buy from slicepay or alternative airlines. Very negligent companies with a poor business plan scamming customers.

First, regarding the airfare:
As your booking was made with a non-refundable ticket type, we are bound by the airline’s fare rules. These conditions - including refundability and flexibility were displayed during the booking flow on Alternative Airlines, and they determine what we’re able to recover on your behalf. Unfortunately, because of these airline-set restrictions, Alternative Airlines were not able to obtain a refund on the ticket.
Second, on the payment plan:
Slice is built on a lay-away model, meaning instalments are paid weekly or bi-weekly and completed before travel. This ensures your ticket is fully paid and confirmed well ahead of your flight. Throughout the checkout proces, we clearly show:
- The deposit amount
- The instalment schedule (Based on your choice of weekly or bi weekly instalments)
- The total cost
These details are provided before paying the deposit and confirming the booking so customers can make informed decisions.
We genuinely tried to resolve this with you directly and regret that you felt unsatisfied with the outcome. Our intention is never to cause stress or confusion, and we appreciate the opportunity to hear your perspective.
