I recently bought a Slinger Bag tennis…
I recently bought a Slinger Bag tennis ball machine after practicing alone for a long time, and it has been a game-changer. The ability to adjust the ball speed and feed rate has greatly improved my training sessions. However, one downside is that I wish it could shoot balls at a higher angle to better practice lobs. Unfortunately, the current angle adjustment doesn’t go high enough for that.

Poor customer service
My year old Pickleball machine quit working on 1/22. I contacted Slinger and we diagnosed the problem and they agreed to send me a brand new machine as a replacement. I received a box of pickleballs on 2/6 instead of a new machine, and received an apology from Slinger and a promise that the replacement machine was on the way. I contact them almost every day, either by email or phone, and they still have not sent the replacement machine and blame it on the warehouse.
Updated 2/23/2025 - I received a new machine on Friday, 2/21/2025. The old one will be returned using a prepaid label provided by Slinger.

Unfortunately, the incorrect item—a box of pickleballs—was sent instead of your replacement launcher. As soon as we were made aware of the error, we contacted the warehouse to arrange for the correct item to be shipped. On February 7th, they informed us that the correct item had been shipped under the same tracking number.
We understand your frustration, and we want to clarify that we have responded to every email and phone call you've sent. This situation was not due to poor customer service but rather an unfortunate picking error at the warehouse level. While we wish mistakes like this didn’t happen, we have done everything possible to correct it for you.
To further resolve the situation, we have placed another shipment for your replacement launcher and emailed you the tracking information. Additionally, we informed you that you could keep the 60 pickleballs you received in error as a token of our apology for both the warehouse mistake and the delivery delay.
We appreciate your patience and sincerely regret the inconvenience this has caused. We are committed to ensuring you receive your replacement as soon as possible.

I do enjoy my bag but have had issues…
I do enjoy my bag but have had issues with it. I’m a casual player so I don’t use it often and have had to change the battery once and currently the oscillator doesn’t rotate. I’ve only used the oscillator maybe 10 times since I’ve owned it. The ball tube only picks up full size tennis balls and many of the pressureless practice balls are slightly small which means I’m still bending to pick up balls. So yes I like the bag but I have and have had my challenges with it and the accessories.

Best tennis ball machine ever
I have been using the Slinger for about a year now. I love this machine because it allows me to practice a variety of shots on my own, including forehands, backhands, and volleys.
Among machines in a similar price range, I find this one to be the best in terms of durability, sturdiness, and portability. Of course, there are more expensive options, but many of them are not as good.
Everything about this machine is a plus, except for one drawback—all balls are delivered with topspin, and there is no option to change this. Aside from that, it has only advantages.
I’ve been using this machine so well that even when it wears out, I would buy it again. I’ve also recommended it to many people, but it’s often sold out. If you’re thinking about getting one, I’d suggest purchasing it quickly before it runs out of stock!

Look for other ball machines before buying this one.
Based on the hype information I received, I purchased the Slinger Bag with all the accessories, including the oscillator.
At best it is an minimal option if you don't have a hitting partner or a back board.
The top spin takes a lot to get used to since the revolutions are much faster than normal play. The oscillator is a waste as it works about 50% of the time.
The battery lasted about 2.5 years before it stopped charging. Although the bag has a 3 year warranty, the battery only has a one year warranty. The battery cost over $100 with tax and shipping. The battery should have a 3 year warranty and a way to replace the cells and not the entire compartment.

I like Slinger Tennis Bag the reason why Slinger is a compact ball machine, it can be unloaded and loaded easy in my car, and it also can be transported from my car to a tennis courts with tennis balls ( 80 ~100 balls).
