Timely delivery

Timely delivery, everything arrived without issues. Great design easy to follow instructions. Since Slinger would not ship to where I live , Puerto Rico , had to bring it by plane from North Carolina. To avoid hassle with TSA , I took out the lithium battery and brought it in my backpack with the terminals taped and in a ziplock bag. The Slinger bag I plastic wrapped it and arrived perfectly. Taking it out to the court soon to try it although I had already tried someone else’s who unfortunately had no idea where to place the machine and what settings to use. Everything is explained clearly in the instructions, so always read and take the time to test it

Worked great for a while

Worked great for a while. The battery failed over a year ago and there are still no replacements. The battery is wired directly into a circuit board so it’s not possible to get an aftermarket replacement. Its now just a very heavy ball hopper. So far a big waste of money and more money if I’m ever able to buy a new battery.

We love our new Slinger bag it…

We love our new Slinger bag and use it often (4hrs + per week). We do have a couple suggestions:

1. The descriptions of the buttons are confusing. Instead of “feed” perhaps interval length?

2. Using the included carabiner to keep the control panel cover open requires a hard stretch, so we added a second small carabiner and it is much easier to keep the cover open.

Overall we are so happy with our purchase. The bag is easy to wheel to our tennis courts and stays charged for as long as we want to use it (we have not tried to use it for more than 90 min). We have people of widely different abilities in our household and all find it great for stroke refinement. It is easy to adjust the speed and height of the ball. The higher speed has a lot of topspin but the lower speed sends a flat ball.

The term “feed” was chosen because it relates to the speed of the feeder plate’s rotation, which determines how quickly balls are 'fed' to the launching chute. We designed the carabiner to be tight to ensure that it stays securely in place and doesn’t accidentally cover the launching chute or have slack to get caught in any wind and move the machine. We understand that this can make it a bit challenging to use, and we appreciate your creativity in adding a second carabiner to improve the experience for yourself.

Bad battery/ supply issues

My battery died in my unit about 6 months after I bought it. I inquired about batteries once a month for the better part of a year and was always told they would be in stock “next month.” After months of asking I finally requested to be notified when they were finally in stock again. I heard nothing until i checked one day and they were in stock again. No one notified me as promised. I missed the better part of a tennis season because I could not power my unit that was not even a year old. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Decent for the Price, but inconsistent

Fast shipping! The accessories that came with the bag (60x balls, Ball Tube) are subpar. The ball tube ended up breaking completely on the first day of use and I had to throw it out. The 60x balls are plastic/flimsy and do not simulate the feel of standard pickleballs like Franklin x40s and Selkirk Pro 1s. They also travel very differently from the launcher itself. They don’t go as far and tend to be short. I would’ve rather had the option to only purchase the slinger bag for less. Feels like the accessories were cheap additions included to mark up the price of the whole machine.

For the launcher itself, it works okay and does its intended purpose. The issues I’ve had with it is that it’s incredibly manual to adjust the launcher, you’ll have to lug around an additional accessory to oscillate the launcher from side-to-side, and there is inconsistency in the shots setup from the launcher. The inconsistency in shots have led to balls going straight into the net and getting hit in the face a couple times when practicing blocks at the net. Definitely wear eye protection. The battery lasts about three hours which is nice and it fits in the trunk of my Camry. Note that you won’t likely fit much of anything else in the trunk with it. Overall, it’s great for practicing shots with variability, but if you want consistency, I wouldn’t go with this bag. It’s slightly overpriced.

Remote not working correctly...

The remote works only if it is not more than 2ft. away from the launcher, never worked not even once at the opposite court. This is my second set purchase and the first one did not have this issue. Please help.
