Pickleball Slinger

I bought the Pickleball slinger pack including the ball machine about one month ago. The machine is working great. However, the ball tube broke after only five uses. I called and they asked me to send them pictures and they immediately approved a warranty replacement and shipped it out immediately. I received it within three days. The service was excellent, and I would recommend Slinger as a reliable and trustworthy company who stands behind their products.

One ongoing problem with this company

The machine was fun and useful for about 2 years. The battery since died, and I’ve been waiting for a replacement for the last 2 years.
Since they over complicated their battery design, they are unable to provide replacements. Otherwise, they are just hoping people are dumb enough to buy another bag.
The worst part is they use the same battery in all their bags; and they have no problem selling new bags.

Please read before buying any Slinger…

Please read before buying any Slinger bag! Whilst the machine has potential the after sales set up is truly woeful. Especially in the UK. My machine is 3 years old and needs a new battery. Not available and no date to say when they will be available.

For the cost of the machine I am sure anyone would agree that this is unacceptable.

Not only can Slinger US not tell you when they become available, they also state that the uk supplier has ‘the option’ to purchase batteries, implying that they can choose not to. This issue has now been going on for 6 months- 1st reported cases in the US November 2024.

Slinger clearly have batteries to put in new bags but don’t care about existing customers.

At this time, we are still waiting to receive an update regarding the replenishment of battery stock. We completely understand how inconvenient this delay is and sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove batteries from our current launcher inventory, as these units are sold as complete sets. Replacement batteries were restocked in the USA in January 2025 and remained available until mid-March 2025 when they sold out. It’s possible there may have been some confusion, as they were not continuously out of stock since November 2024.

My drilling partner

I bought my slinger about a month ago and it has been nothing but great. It does the drills I've been looking for and with the 60 balls and the slinger ball picker included made my drilling even better. I highly recommend it and the cost is very affordable. I ordered a replacement battery

I ordered a replacement battery. When trouble-shooting the non-working battery, I learned that I did not properly care for the original battery (I left the battery plugged in 24/7). The unit works great again, but this was a costly mistake on my part. I feel that a sticker on the unit, where the recharge cord is plugged in might help inform and remind users of the care needed for the battery.

Impressive Slinger Bag for Pickleball

Fast shipping and the machine arrived well packaged with no issues by way of damage. I love the Slinger but there are some issues. The remote’s range is still weak, this after I adjusted the antenna as suggested. For instance if I need to turn off the launcher I need to be closer than net distance. Sometimes next to the unit. The timer function is also spotty. Mainly at the fastest feed. It will often pause throughout its cycle. Occasionally stopping altogether, this happens rarely however. The ball retriever broke early on, not the pickup function but the knobs that hold the two pieces in place. I duct taped them together thus I now carry it separately from the bag. Feel free to contact me if you wish. I use it five days a week or more.

It arrived quickly & in perfect condition. I hated that it was not in stock for almost a year, but that also told me it was a popular item & there must be a reason why it wasn't available. I had borrowed a friend's earlier & knew it was a terrific product, so I was willing to wait.
