Slingerbag thought of everything! This machine/roller bag with multiple storage areas is so easy to use.Everything is labeled on the bag and intuitive for use. And it’s light! Easily put in car with handles that are conveniently located. Awed by design every time I use it.

A whole host of issues

I ordered pressureless tennis balls but received pressurized ones instead. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that they don’t actually have pressureless balls in stock (no wonder they sent the wrong type; sneaky move).
Here is the email informing me that they don’t have the balls in stock:
“Thank you for reaching out. I’m very sorry to hear that the incorrect item was delivered — I completely understand how frustrating this must be.
While I understand that we're currently unable to ship the correct item, I’d like to investigate this further for you.” This doesn’t sound like the item was in stock ready to ship immediately.

During my phone call with one of their agents, they offered a return but expected me to cover the return shipping costs, which I naturally declined, as the error was theirs.

Then, an IT issue delayed the issuance of a return label. While it was eventually resolved, the whole experience left me with serious doubts about the company’s operational stability and supply chain reliability.

I already own their machine, but given the recurring supply issues and frequent changes in ownership, I wouldn’t choose their product if I were buying today.

It appears there was a misunderstanding regarding the return instructions. The email you referenced in your review was sent in direct response to your phone call, during which you explained that you couldn’t accept a redelivery due to living outside the U.S. and your wife preparing to leave shortly. We're very sorry for the inconvenience this situation caused.

To be clear — and as confirmed in the recording of that call — at no point were you asked to pay for the return shipping. The incorrect item was sent in error, and we covered the return shipping cost by providing a prepaid label and issued a full refund upon return.

We’re genuinely sorry that this mistake led to frustration and that it came across as anything less than a good-faith effort to resolve the issue. This was not a “sneaky move,” but rather an unfortunate error at the warehouse level. When we offered to ship the correct item at no cost, the delivery could not be completed due to the limited timeframe you mentioned regarding your wife's departure from the U.S. which prevented her ability to bring the item back to you.

Regarding your comment about ownership — Slinger Bag has remained under the same ownership and leadership since its launch in 2020. While the legal entities have evolved over time, the ownership and vision have remained consistent.

We truly regret the stress this caused you. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

I bought the pressureless balls

I bought the pressureless balls and compared them to others that can be bought on Amazon (Gamma balls). The Slinger Bag balls work much better in the Slinger machine. The Gamma balls seem to be just slightly larger and do not fit well in the slinger.

Terrible service after paying $109…

I paid you $109 or so for a replacement switch panel with circuit board. The first shipment had been packed in a plastic envelope and arrived badly damaged. After I provided several photos of the damaged shipment and asked for another to be sent, it took over a week for you to respond, and now as i follow the tracking number, i see that it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow...in OHIO. I am in Amarillo TEXAS. What is going on?

Customer service does not understand how the thing works

The supplied charger did not charge the unit. I tried to communicate with service and all I got was incorrect advice from people who did not understand the physics of lithium batteries, charging strategies (varying voltages based on degree of depletion, etc).

I was able to recharge the unit by supplying a voltage at the correct levels on a schedule appropriate to the degree of charge using a DC source that was able to supply the necessary voltages at the appropriate time in the full charging cycle. Despite our communications and my explanations to you that tjis showed the charger and not the unit was the problem you refused to send a replacement. block. I wound up buying one at an inflated price from you and it remains to be seen if that will perform per the documented charging procedure. Bad experience and's you need to learn some basic engineering in order to support your product.

As to the slinger itself, it works. Once you figure out how to charge it. It’s your customer support that falls short.

This is THE best tennis ball machine…

This is THE best tennis ball machine for a budget under $1000. You get so much with the Slinger Bag for the price. Our deal included a free case of tennis balls and the ad-on left-to-right rotator for the machine. I purchased two other machines and once I got the Sliger Bag, I was never looking back. It's easy to use, easy to operate, the battery lasts a long time. I love it and my daughter loves it. Slinger Bag customers for life here!

68 year old gives Slinger a Thumbs Up!

The Slinger is just the tennis ball machine I needed. It allows me to get a good workout without having to find a partner. It is very portable. I am a 68 year old 4-4.5 player and find it easy to get into my SUV. The only thing I would recommend is to make the opening for the balls to be a little larger so a regular size hopper of balls can be poured into the opening without spilling. Or, create a Slinger hopper that can carry about 80 balls that is easier to pour into the Slinger. Overall, Thumbs Up!

The front panel of the launcher’s hopper is secured with a Velcro lining, which can be opened to allow the panel to lay flat—this might make it easier for you to return the balls to the hopper. The return policy is a little tricky

The return policy is a little tricky. They will subtract a fee ($100-150) for just opening the package. I don’t think that that is right. They were timely with their responses. However, I have yet to get (most of) my money back after returning the slinger bag.

Great product, remote battery dead out of package

Slinger Bag is best bang for your buck.

After doing my research, I settled on a Slinger Bag to practice my tennis skills. I love that it is a all in one item. Additionally, I added the oscillator piece. Every piece is great quality and is well made.

It makes it easy to travel between home and the courts. I did have a defect in the racket storage but customer service was exceptional and resolved my issue very fast.

I highly recommend this product.
