Chris and Justine have been more than helpful from my first email contact. Chris has the knowledge and experience that gave me the confidence to hand him the business. Sourcing ASHP's at the moment is difficult yet Chris & Justine kept me up to date with the latest delivery schedule.

Chris helped me understand the chemical process and has provided with whatsapp support when needed.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Smalley Hot Tub Services.

I ordered a hot tub insulated jacket unfortunately there was a mix up with my order and I received the wrong size. Justine very quickly sorted collection and replacement keeping me updated on the progress all the time. Excellent customer service! 👏

Diabolical company. Have blocked myself and my partner.
Under consumers act section 15 have not provided a service with due care and skill.
Paid £2949 for a heat pump and install. Leaking poorly fitted pipes, broken our tub panel, various issues. Refuse to take responsibility for all of the issues and damages caused. Causing my wife and I an incredible amount of stress. Now going through small claims court to recover the full costs, damages and compensation. NOT WHAT I EXPECT FROM A SMALL COMPANY!
Have reported them to BISHTA whom they are members. I am sure they will be pleased to know their members are providing poor workmanship and business ethics. I hope they hold you accountable for this horrendous job. Photos will be shared on social media so others don’t have to feel what we do!

After waiting 7 weeks for a air source heat pump to be fitted by Chris Smalley.
He poorly fitted the air source heat pump end of November which has resulted in breaking our circulation pump, destroying our hot tub panel and cracking a union and the framework which secures the panel to the side of our tub. We have now had a n independent report of the works and not only has chris smalley installed it BACK TO FRONT he has cut off our original heat element which is now not able to be used!
The air source heat pump pipe work leaked water in various places, the union he broke also meant an air leak into the system.
The pipe work is appalling, he used bits and pieces of different pipes, sizes and sorts without using the correct fittings, bodged them together with putty.
The air source pump itself was not fitted to anti vibration feet as it should, he chose to screw this to a bit of ply that the pump came from on the shipping pallet and lay directly onto the mud.
I have since been in touch with both Justine & Chris who are being nothing more than awkward. I have requested a reasonable refund of £1500 to fix my tub and have the pipe work refit (we paid a total of £2949)
The consumer rights act 2015 demands any service should be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
NO CARE OR SKILL has gone into the fitting of our air source heat pump.
I have reason to believe we are their first air source fitting after Chris falsely claimed he had fitted 12. I would advise others looking to have an air source heat pump fitted to seek a reliable company who have pictures of their previous work available to see and have experience and the skills necessary to fit one correctly!

I have since spoken with a reputable company who fit air source heat pumps and from the get go has requested more information about our tub in the first instance than Chris ever has!
Chris ordered our pump via email, picked a date - showed up and had no clue, just whacked together what he could how he could. Without the correct tools or materials resulting in the poor outcome and damage to our property we are left with!
I have pictures of works which I will be sharing online as I am left incredibly disappointed and quite frankly disgusted that this company thinks it’s acceptable.

I’m without a resolution and with no hot tub running this Christmas as we had anticipated with our family!!
I have reported to trading standards and BISHTA.
£2949 of our money and no working hot tub is NOT OKAY.

EDIT; do not believe the response here, it is a lie. We have now disputed via our credit card as advised by citizens advice. They have blocked us both on social media and are now ignoring our emails!!!!

Your response is not satisfactory and is quite clearly FOR SHOW. You reported our review which HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED. It is clear for anyone to see the work you have carried out in our home is not acceptable and as far as I am concerned you have conned us out of £2949. You should be ashamed of yourselves and I will be taking this as far as I can. Nobody should have to feel what I am having to go through with your terrible company.

Always available for newbies questions, listens and comes with sensible advice. A true small family business which doesn't try to rip you off.
If you want to spend money on a hot tub or swimming spa do it here!

Messaged on Monday afternoon regards a leak on our tub . Within minutes booked in for the next day. Chris arrived and diagnosed the problem and fixed . Hot tub up and running in an hour. Fantastic service and company .. make sure you call for any problems. Have great advice on heating and chemical solutions . Will use them all the time for chemicals now .. thanks again .. a life saver 😀

First time I have used Smalley Hot Tub Services and I will definitely use them again. Booked in for the winter service and shut down on our hot tub. Chris was super helpful and did a great job.
