Pros:

Great products. Contact buggy.

A little hard to contact but great once they were in touch.

Tried their online chat, email, Twitter and I got no replies for two days… then I switched to Instagram and suddenly they started replying via email too. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was some kind of bug.

Their products seem clever, high spec and good quality. Samples came fast and I’m excited for my blinds coming.

2 months in and we are very satisfied…

2 months in and we are very satisfied with the product. The whole process was great, from choosing the size, to the delivery and installation. I was looking for some smart blinds to expand my automations in my studio/atelier/office and because I’m already using EVE production, this was the perfect fit.
I’m currently using Homekit/Siri to control my setup and have different automation for different needs. When I’m having a meeting, for example, the blinds will automatically close because I have the window on my back. (this helps a lot) I achieved this by using the focus mode as a trigger. This same trigger also turns on a red lamp that is placed on the exterior of the room, so I don’t get interrupted. I also have an automation that opens the blinds in the morning before I arrive and closes the blinds at sunset when my interior lights go on. The cable to charge is very long, which makes everything easier, but until now I didn't have the need to charge it since the first charge.
I also like the fact that the wire can be used to activate the motor without using the assistant/phone. The materials and build quality are very good.

Great support!

Great support!! Helped me with some minor issues quick and professional. Even exchanged a motor for free after a little accident on my part!
Only thing is that they have “5 - 10 days delivery” on their homepage but it takes 5 - 6 weeks … and it seems they know beforehand I should only give them 4 stars for that - but they’ve been so nice with the motor that I need to go 5 stars!

The blinds are great

The blinds are great, but out of the 3 I bought, just 1 had a smooth installation. One worked after debugging (it was Saturday, so I researched for help on google) and the third is having strange noises, so the support team is on the case. Despite of not being 100% smooth, the customer support has been super attentive and helpful. I have no doubts all problems will be solved.

Excellent product and customer support

The product is top quality and customer support is super responsive. I contacted support before purchasing the blinds and after purchasing them, and in both occasion I received an instant response. I would easily recommend their product to family and friends.

Top product and customer service

If there would be more than 5 stars then I would give them to Smartblinds. Their service and product is amazing. They take the time to answer your questions when you call. They are calling you immediately back if you couldn't reach your contact person. They are answering fast to emails. I had many questions. That's why I had so much contact with them. ;-) They are incredible helpful and don't give up until the problem is solved. I had a minor problem when I wanted to order and they tried with me several solutions until it worked. The blinds are great. I am very satisfied with the quality and how easy it is to install them. I like the color and they came even earlier as indicated. If I'm not wrong then they came 1.5 weeks earlier. They were very well packed and arrived without any damage. If you are planning to buy blinds I highly recommend to do it with Smartblinds. They are every penny worth! A big Thank you to Maarten Kamphuis which was my main contact. Also thank you to the rest of the team which helped out if he wasn't available.
