The test is very easy to do and your results are emailed to you within 3/4 days. The report clearly shows the foods you have a problem with, which are numbered from 1 to 5, 1 being a slight sensitiv... See more

Great experience.
Thorough analysis, regarding multiple food tolerances.
Original telephone consultancy with Sheila, plus a couple of follow up calls. Symptoms disappeared.
Much recommended.
The test was quick and efficient, the results came back very quickly, resolved diet issues I had
All I can say is they were very professional, and very prompt in sending out the equipment I needed , and also very quick with the results, and the phone consultation was very helpful to me ,
I feel much better after substituting the foods I was intolerant to out, no more bloating, less inflammation, more energy, the test was quick and easy to do, results came in just as I was having dinner and saw everything on my plate/drink was flagged as high, it was like a switch I realised how bad I felt made the substitutions the next day and the results were immediate.

Absolutely rubbish contradicting results they don’t respond to emails. Very basic and had better from cheaper companies. Save your money and don’t bother

I apparently tested positive for celiac disease a few years back, but wasn’t told until recently but this was not picked up in my test. I would have thought it would have been. 🤷♀️

They found i was intolerant to Dairy ie; cows milk and also fermented foods etc. I stopped these and used alternatives which reduced my congestion & joint pain a lot. I wish there was rapeseed oil also included in the test but they dont do that one. Yes would certainly recommend.

The blood taking was straightforward, but Sheila Boyd the nutritionalist was exceptional in her advice on what to eat to support giving up dairy, yeast, gluten, wheat etc... You couldn't get better, more knowledgeable advice, where Sheila quickly spoke to use the half hour free session as efficiently as possible. Have pen and paper with you as she offers you so much you won't be able to take it all in.

I took the smartblood test as a result of experiencing severe bloating, abdominal pain, fatigue and feeling generally awful. I had previously been diagnosed with an ulcer 18 months ago, and after seeing my GP and taking the test - this thankfully proved not to be the case.
I had been prescribed Lanzaprazole - but still continued to have symptoms so I decided to use smartblood to test for possible food allergies. The state the NHS is currently in, would have meant waiting months to get allergy tested!!
The test results showed I have several food allergies and I have now with the help of Sheila Boyde (Specialist Nutritionist) developed a diet which is just fantastic.
I now feel no more pain, no more bloating and feel mentally and physically back to how I should feel.
I cannot thank Smartblood enough for providing this service and a great big thanks to Sheila who is an absolute oracle of information and good advice!
I’m sorry to say I haven’t been at all satisfied with this organisation. According to the results from their very basic report I have issues with eggs and sesame oil. This is in stark contrast to a previous test I had which covered realms of substances including chemicals and specific ingredients. When I wrote to them to query their rudimentary findings they didn’t want to know.
Save your money and go elsewhere is my recommendation. Smart blood- not so smart. Avoid.
After years of getting nowhere with the NHS, smart blood have literally turned my families lives around. My son was misdiagnosed with IBS by the NHS and a treatment plan of ‘learn to live with it’ left me at my wits end. My son was left housebound, underweight and struggling with his mental health. The smart blood test revealed intolerances the NHS don’t test for and after removing these things from my sons’ diet he is now symptom free and getting on with his life.
Smart bloods’ understanding of allergies, intolerances and nutrition is exceptional and the service I received was very professional and caring. The tests are cheaper than market competitors and the service is very fast.
I have now tested my youngest son as well and after removing the intolerances the test identified, his eczema is under control for the first time in his life. Again, intolerances which aren’t tested for by the NHS were the problem. His eczema was constantly getting infected and steroids and antibiotics were not helping. 3 weeks after the smart blood test was done and his skin is clear.
I’m an so grateful for the service I received from smartblood and would urge anyone who is struggling with their health to take the blood test.
