pretty fast and i was able to use the new one right when i got it

In general is a very nice website to purchase a refurbished phone, but they should update the prices more often.

Update nov/2021: sadly this company does not exist any more, but I got good deals back in time.

The phone I recieved was as advertised. No scratches or blemishes and was nicely packaged. The down side was that it was difficult to know what carrier type and what/where the phone could be used. The phone came out of the south Pacific (I'm in the USA), so the phone software had to be updated to work in the US and I had to choose a different network carrier then what the website claimed. Bottom line the information on the english website is greatly lacking adding to some guessing as to if the phone will work.

I’ve ordered one iphone 6s 128gb. Shipping as fast. But there was a problem with audio. Loudspeaker and phone audio device were not functioning proper. So I could not listen to phone calls, and neither to audio/ video contents because.
It was told to me I had 2 options:
- Go to a repair center, and fix them (smarter would refund me maximum 30€) I went, normal speaker for phone calls was fixed and ok, at 15€cost. The other one, they weren’t able to fix it, and substituting would cost around 30 €. This would make 45 € and I would be paying for a repair of a product I should have in my hands functionally.

- I’ve ship it back to smarter for a substitution. All went fast. I less than 2 weeks I had another phone.

- But also this time there were problems: the slot for the sim card was missing. So, to insert my sim card I had to went to a repair store and buy 1. (5€) THIS made that the phone was still not functioning and I had already spent extra 20€ in problems.

- I was In my right to make another reclaim, but to lose again time, I decided to spend the money by myself.

- Then phone worked. Only thing, on the first one, battery lasted ok. (on battery app it was written It was indicated that battery could achieve around 80% of its initial capacity

- On the second one its around 70% and I have to charge it AT LEAST twice a day. Once its fully charge, if I use it for one hour with facebook app / battery completely goes of in just one hour of use….



For this second and third problem I didn’t made a claim. Mainly because I was not in the mood to wait again another 2 weeks for another phone, and mostly because I was not sure the 3rd phone would be better or come without problems.
I’ve just decided to quit, and pay for myself for a new battery… so at the end I’ve paid on repairs, in the first two weeks, 60€. And the phone so was 60€ more expensive from the price I’ve paid to smarter.
I admit I was not very smart. But I wanted to try, for several reasons to buy a reconditioned phone. Tc g

It took a month to have a new one
Second phone has some defects ....

Great support, fast and reliable, great product

You sent me a Locked phone
I had to return it from Peru and get it replaced the shipping cost me about $350.00 and 2 months of aggravation
5 hours dealing with DHL and customs in Lima Peru .... I live 9 1/2 hr bus ride from Lima

It was difficult to reach a customer service person on the phone. I had to wait around 10 minutes more than once just to talk to someone.
The customer service hours were also unpredictable. Sometimes I would call and never get an answer even though the website said it was open for phone support.
The customer support person was knowledgeable but not friendly.

reliable, and good products, had an issue that was easily fixed

Sent me a empty box. And charged me for it. Had to get my credit card company involved to take care of the charge.

The price is hard to beat but poor quality and worse customer service has left me seeking replacements every few months.

Phone looked new and works perfect. Delivery was slow. Otherwise great deal in a good phone. I mma Ning or buy an Apple Watch next

I have had my phone since August 2019 and have had to send it back 4 times I'm so frustrated with this matter the phone works when it wants to most of the time it says no service i have taken it to several of my providers and they have said it's the phone i have tried to deal with this matter as long as possible at this point I am tried and want a refund

I am pleased with purchase and return service. I had trouble with first purchase, returned it with no problems and received phone that worked. No problems what so ever,

By far, Smarter is the best experience I have ever had when buying a pre-used iPhone. Everything from accurate descriptions and extremely professional packaging to the fast delivery. For future pre-used Apple devices I will choose no other than Smarter!
