Alan and Amanda own and run Smithbrook Picture Framing. Alan after studying carpentry and cabinet making at college in the 80s then trained as a picture framer at a high end Art Gallery in Guildford. Here he learnt to frame all types of medium and for some famous artists as well. In 1989 Alan was employed by Smithbrook Picture Framing and after a year moved to Walton On Thames to manage a high street framing and Art Gallery. Alan and Amanda are members of the Fine Art Trade Guild and has great skill in creating some amazing framing for your artwork. Amanda having retired from the NHS worked in a high end jewellery shop in Reigate where her love of jewellery gave her a platform for retail and offered great customer service. Amanda has an amazing eye for design and colour and has a natural flare for framing colours and design and will work with you and your framing ideas

Absolutely brilliant framing shop with friendly, expert approach
I went to Smithbrook Framing with a selection of items and they were brilliant! I brought to them some special newspaper articles to frame, some pictures that just needed some tlc and some that needed reframing. They assisted me with choosing the perfect frames, mounts and glass for each of my pictures and I’m thrilled how they have turned out. In particular the reframed pictures have been given a whole new lease of life. I will absolutely be using them again.

Absolutely fantastic service, quality and choice
I have been using this framer for three years since a major house refurbishment. In addition to re-framing they were also willing to just update existing pictures with new improved glass and better borders.
Funky frame for daughters Edinburgh print was very much liked on Christmas Day - thank you

We have had many pictures framed, mirrors added to antique frames and frames painted to enhance pictures. Every time the results are amazing. I would highly recommend Smithbrook Picture Framing Ltd the results never disappoint. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

An enormous selection of frames to choose from so advise from helpful sales person was really welcome.
A little on the pricey side but the service was excellent, the job was completed in eight days ,in the run up to Christmas this was impressive.

Excellent service as always! I have used Smithbrook Picture Framing many times over the years for prints and paintings but on this occasion it was to replace mirrored glass in a frame, the item came back fully restored and with much improved hanging hooks!
