First time at SnowDome, long queue to check in, so crowded to get ready and on the slope there were lessons all of the way up so it was virtually impossible to go anywhere above walking speed. Snow fe... See more

Ice skating only 28/12/22
We went ice skating last year in between Xmas and New Year, really good, festive and not overly busy. This year we’ve returned and we feel they’ve become greedy giving too many people different time slots for Ice skating, we are sure it was one group in - one group out last year on the hour which kept it less busy. We paid £9 for our penguins equalling £18, we needed to swap for polar bears because the childrens backs were hurting age 6 and 9 and non available. People actually also stole our penguins when we went to the toilet and we whitenessed people helping themselves to skating aids when not paid for which also happened last year, not ideal when we’ve paid £18. Will Probably try somewhere else next year, people also complaining that the snow dome experience was too quick and a waste of money, which we didn’t take part in thankfully. Would no longer recommend, such a shame when it was perfect last year.

Very disappointed- we went to winter wonderland this year with a 8 and 3 year old. When we went in we were met with snow and it was simply a circular system to follow that had very small slides and one ‘large slide’ which was very disappointing, in fact our children were quite bored. We were then called into the theatre, which was actually good. Following this we were lead to the animal
Area which is saw animals we could see anywhere, we were expecting animals in relation to the theme instead we got pigs and Guinea pigs. The Carasol was ok but there was no staff in the area to make a atmosphere. Santas home was just toys set up. The children don’t get to meet Santa as they see him on stage and there is no present. When leaving we were provided with a very small chocolate. The whole experience lasted 60 minutes, We drove 2 hours for this as we expected something different but were left extremely disappointed.

Really enjoyed our day out at the Snowdome. Fun for experienced and beginners. The lessons are excellent and highly recommended. Great day out had by all !
So disappointed in this..
So disappointed in this... Quite cross actually.
On the leaflet it says 'massive snow slide' and having seen pics on the website thought this would be great for the boys aged 6-8 that we had with us. In reality the snow slide was actually very small, more suited to 3-5 year olds, and then the additional slides round the edge were even smaller. We could see a bigger snow slide over a wall but was told this was not part of it...? We walked round the other side, took a couple of photos, threw a few handfuls of snow, not sure whether if there was anything else to see... and then were called into the theatre... Because there were so few staff we didn't realise at this point that this was literally the end of the snow experience. I found the little show pretty good, one girl who played the Cheshire Cat and a couple of other characters was fabulous. Then the animals were ok but you can see these anywhere (same for the carousel which was definitely intended for toddlers).
This 100% should be advertised as an event for under 5s. We travelled two hours for this event and had we known that the snow part (which we expected to be the biggest and best part given the location!) would be so small we would have spent our money on a regular snow fun session (or even two!) and saved ourselves a lot of money.

We went to the winter wonderland with outr 3 grandchildren under 4. Got our the car and with a large double buggy was met with very steep steps about 30 in total. No signs for ram . Asked a member of staff. Told it was round the back some where. A nice man helped my husband carry the buggy up the steps. When we went in we were told sorry no buggies ???? Fair enough but would not have booked if I had read it in the booking info. Once we were in it was like a bun fight. Our three year old grandson was pulling his brother on a sledge and got knocked over. Then our 18 month grandson was walking and a woman pushed in between myself and Max and knocked him over. She as pretty rude. The tannoy then invited us to go to the show. This was fine. The carasel and animals were good. We then went in to the restaurant Aspens. All the tables were filthy . I wiped it myself. Food was OK. Baby change was very good. Would I recommend yes but do not take children under 2 .We never did find the ramp. Another kind man helped carry the buggy down
AVOID, no regard for health and safety. Rude staff.
AVOID. No regard for health and safety. Rude staff. Very poor and dangerous equipment.
Arrived after an hour drive to be told there was no boots available for skiing in my size. Staff encouraged me to use boots that were not my size and were far too big. Dangerous advise, anyone who has skied knows you need tight fitting boots.
Even though they couldn't provide a service the manager was rude and refused to do anything. Refused to give me a refund initially until I reminded him this isn't allowed under consumer regs. Manager's advise was to sit and wait 4 hours for the afternoon session.
Very poor establishment and its clear staff are inexperienced / have no regard for health and safety.

Unfortunately some of their staff let them down.
Had good and bad experiences so it depends who you have to deal with.
Had a nasty experience Sunday with one guy on the ski rental area.
I arrived at the counter at the same time as a young boy and his father so let them go first, but I moved from level with them and put our 3 boots on the counter as obviously they are heavy to stand in line with. When it came to the next turn the guy purposefully ignored me and went to the person behind me. When I pointed out I was next he loudly stated 'you weren't waiting in a straight line - you just put your boots on the counter expecting to be served' which wasn't true at all, and refused to serve me. Luckily the guy behind me told him to serve me before him otherwise I would have probably been stood there all day.
There was no need to be so bloody minded, I had done nothing other than put our boots on the counter ready for him. If anything I thought I was helping him!
Crambed full pathetic avoid as they just want money now
40 people at the top deck try n to go down a slop covered in learners and small children there had to have been 80 in the dome or more on slope ,escalator and all queing to get up the slope and down what a wasted day all money no fun and the reason they will have another terrible accident again why do a deal for September and not restricted the slope numbers per hour
Milton Keynes so much better separated learners no people hanging about in the middle sections board specific area and ski
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience, removed from the slope after going down once by a ginger bloke and told to have some lessons, didn't say the lessons were an extra £50. expensive minute of skiing, wouldn't recommend!
Really great day out with family
Really great day out with family. Resteraunt watching the slope even felt a bit like the real thing!
BRETT WAS OUTSTANDING.
We had the 3 hour fast track SNOW BOARD LESSON. We were very lucky to have had Brett as our unstructor and i have to say his style of teaching was exceptional. Very knowledgable professional and his ability to explain what to do in simple language was outstanding.
Too many people!
A nice indoor facility, with pleasant staff. The big problem is they simply admit too many people. Now of course, January and February is their peak season - this is perfectly understandable but being over capacity is not. They don't have a separate slope for lessons which results in large groups of learners congregating at the side of the main and only slope (seemingly with 10+ people to an instructor which isn't great) and leaving those skiing or snowboarding from the top the narrowest of paths to the bottom. The sheer crowds in the car park, changing facilities and the slope means I would only advise visiting during the week at quiet times. A weekend morning or school holiday visit for example is a waste of time and money whether you are an experienced skier or a learner as you'll spend your time avoiding others and queuing rather than actually on the slope!
SnowDome Tamworth don’t care it is all about the money, your money not you enjoyment
We were early for my 4yo snow play but I forgot her mittens. By the time we had got them we were 5 minutes late. But instead of letting us in they made us go back to the main desk for wrist bands. Procedure. I got wrist bands but lost 15 mins of 30min
I went back to the main desk but the young assistant did not understand and was not sympathetic. I got upset the supervisor criticised me. Apparently, I was wrong for complaining my error. My fault.
Thre was no understanding from any one behind the desk. No, Oh well life’s complicated, how can we make it better. Everything said by staff made the matter worse.
Apparently I was not complaining correctly.
Well forgive me for being stupid but I’m not in event/people management. I’m just a customer who is not coming back because you upset me when you could have so easily made it better.
Beware - short on safety
I had a bad fall yesterday. Unfortunately the ski binding did not release and my leg was badly twisted so I am now virtually immobilised.
On the plus side the Dome is well organised and the staff are friendly and helpful particularly those who ‘rescued’ me from the slope.
Regrettably there are negatives:-
For its size the slope is overcrowded so remember to book off peak and not at weekends
Safety on the slope is compromised by letting snowboarders mix with skiers
In many places the surface of the snow is virtually solid ice which is what caught me out yesterday
Although staff members adjust your hired ski bindings to your hired skis most people like me do not check this. Had I done this I suspect I would not be immobilised like now
So remember to check your ski bindings!
Really not worth the money!
Really not worth the money!
Been here tonight with our 2 year old daughter, there really isn't alot todo she got bored very quickly.
Don't see why adults should pay full prices when it's for the children they should charge £5 entry.
Very disappointed with the play as I thought she got to meet santa at the end.
If you want to pay £50+ for abit of snow and a small 10-15 min play and 2 chocolates at the end then this is for you, other than that it's over priced tat!
Rip off Winter Wonderland AVOID!!!!
We have attended the Winter Wonderland which in my opinion was a complete waste of money and would advise anyone who aren't taking toddlers to avoid!! Adults pay over £20 for this experience also, there is nothing that an adult can actually have a go at with their child, the largest slope to tube down was about 3ft high so my 11 and 15 year old were mightily disappointed! This experience is over priced massively, there isn't even a santa with a present at the end, just a lady holding a basket with tiny little little chocolates in, what a joke! The only drink you could purchase was hot chocolate and that's it. I would not return and would strongly advise anybody else to avoid, use the expensive ticket price and go somewhere that's actually worth the money. Disappointed 😞
Cannot fault this place - customer service excellent
Cannot fault this place. We’ve visited for years (gym, spa, snow, swim, cafe - you name it) and recently had to change our booking as our little one was unwell. They were absolutely brilliant - no fuss - allowed us to change the date and we’re very understanding. Claire in particular a standout, very professional, kind and helpful. A credit to their business.
Great fun as always
Great fun as always. Masks etc on the slope is a bit of a drag but it’ll soon be all over. See you again soon guys.
Customer service terrible
Have emailed customer service 4 plus times for a cash refund for Santa experience. No refund just sending voucher replied j want cash still nothing. Customer services is terrible. Still no refund! They now have almost £200 belonging to me
Poor Customer Service
I paid £199 for the winter wonderland experience but upon cancellation have received 3 separate emails with different amounts on issued in credit notes! Tried to call and there was a message to say they had shut their phones off! Emailed to enquire why I am getting different amounts and the reply was basically email our refunds department which I did, the reply was not to contact them as they would arrange the refund in 15 working days! So it appears my refund will be issued in dribs and drabs! Poor customer service.
