Sofi is a awesome company I had a great experience I needed a personal loan to consolidate a high interest loan and they solved my problem. Loan application was easy and funds was delivered next day .I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I wanted to know if I could post my monthly payment n the first of the rather than wait for the autopay to make the deduction on the 12th. The customer service rep advised me that even if I made a payment ahead of autopay it would still be deducted on the scheduled date. He advised me to call back after the 12th and request a payment date change. He was very professional and courteous during our entire conversation.

I applied for a personal loan with Sofi on 2/14/26. by 2/26/26 I had received no communication from them whatsoever. I started a chat on their website and was connected with customer service who had someone call me. They told me my employer had sent my income documents from a gmail account rather than a registered business domain. Fine. Some communication on that would be nice. I also applied with a co-borrower, perfect credit, and mine is considered "Good". They called my employer, verified income, and then denied the loan. When inquiring as to why, it was because there was a document missing. I asked if I could provide it to them, they told me "no", that I needed to start the process over. I explained how I patiently waited two weeks for them to contact me and they refused. Upon looking into another loan provider, I found a better interest rate that I had overlooked previously so I guess it worked out in my favor. But I would steer clear of SoFi, they have no true customer support. And you can find a better deal elsewhere.

there is a big communication problem. when I was a apply heloc, always scheduled to call someone name is Mark but never reach the representatives even scheduled couple of times.
online application is not true. totally waste of time..

Absolutely the worst experience I have had getting a loan. loan was approved but to get to my bank was impossible! I think they do this to make you open a sofi checking. I would not recommed going with this company!!!

They are average bank but God forbid that you have to dispute a transaction their process is horrible in our case we have 2 accounts and they both got hit at the same time 1 with BOA and the other with SOFI. BOA gave us the money back in 3 days and SOFI took forever to credit us the money . BOA cancel our cards send us new ones and allow us to get digital cards none of this happened with SOFI. No Customer services number but some stupid chat with an agent that also takes 15 to a minute to reply. so for that i am closing my account.

The SoFi website was easy to navigate. The entire process, filing out forms, providing documentation etc. was painless and I quickly finished and was approved in a very short amount of time. The rate was excellent, much lower than the credit cards I have.

I do not recommend SOFI. They are known to pull a hard credit check. Drop your credit score and decline your loan. Do not risk using them. Do not risk using SOFI. Go with LendingClub, Prosper, or Best Egg. You WILL be approved and it’s quick and easy. They also will not ruin your high credit score and decline your loan. Take care!
