Really bad customer service:
I am really sad to be writing this bad review. We were booked for a delivery Tuesday 7th July, so got rid of all our furniture. We had a time slot and checked where the drivers were and they were half hour from our home. Time went by and we thought they were stuck in traffic but no one turned up and no telephone call. We then checked the tracker and it said they couldn’t deliver. We rang customer services and were told they couldn’t get their truck down our country lane and the shop had written the wrong number down for us, so they didn’t let us know. This is shocking to us because the lane is only 100yards long so they could have walked up and told us and also, the lane is accessible as we had a double decker removal lorry down there when we moved in, so clearly their drivers can’t drive.
We were now mortified as we’re both registered physically disabled with no where but bed to sit! Do Sofology care about this ….no. The customer service chap Kyle was quite rude and dismissive and also refused to pass us to a manager. We ended up ringing the store manager and he was shocked and disgusted. We had told the sales person that we lived down a country lane and she said this wasn’t a problem. He tried to organise a quick delivery to no avail. Two days have passed and we’ve had a call to say the earliest is Friday 17th (10 days without anything to sit on). This customer service chap was more empathetic but couldn’t help us further but was happy to pass to a manager but will take up to 72 hours to get back to us. We are both now left in agony with no where to sit, in a heat wave and let’s face it, 10 days without furniture is not acceptable. They did ring back and offer the 15th but we had a funeral but still that was 8 days without furniture. We’re now waiting for a manger to ring us which can take days.
When this happened with DFS some years ago, at least they got a temp sofa delivered the next day from a closer store.
Would I recommend Sofology ….definitely not….they have drivers that can’t drive and poor customer service and clearly do not value their customers. Stay away if you live in the countryside. Next step for us is to cancel and go elsewhere where we are appreciated.

We did feel we were given the wrong information of the sizes of the sofa we were buying. Then when we questioned it we were told it was a lot smaller. We have had to pay five hundred pounds more to get a larger one now.

Somewhere along the line they had the wrong house number. This seem to complicate things to no be able to deliver on said date. It wasn't easy to be able to pay the balance I was sent to different departments.The lady in the store was extremely helpful 10/10 for her

I would’ve bought from a rival company if she hadn’t been so friendly and knowledgeable, I just wish I could remember her name but it begins with L and she works at the Cheltenham branch. Now if you could swiftly make and deliver my 2 sofas then I’d give 10 stars if I could! Thank you very much!
