John the salesman was very helpful with all our requirements

I am writing this review on behalf of my 80 year old mother who ordered a sofa, foot-stall and a chair back in September for Christmas delivery, communication has been extremely poor from Sofology and finally last week my mom was told her sofa wasn’t arriving before Christmas and it maybe sometime in January but no definite date given!
Only the chair and foot-stall were delivered and the foot-stall had faulty hinges and once opened wouldn’t shut!! Some new hinges were posted out to my mom yet no one could repair the foot-stall until mid January, after spending just over £3k I find this really isn’t good enough and has upset my mom immensely! I appreciate that some delivery issues can’t be avoided however the communication was poor and really some sort of compensation should be offered for such a poor service to not even get someone out to fix the foot stall for her before mid January!!

Vicky made our sofa buying experience amazing. She welcomed us and sat us down and went through our dimension sizes we needed which were very specific until she found sofas to fit our room. She would not be beaten and in the end she found us two sofas that fitted our needs. She went through everything with us and was very patient with us because we had our two kids with us too... Excellent representation of the company and we can't wait for our new sofas now! Thanks a lot Vicky and sofology

Very efficient and friendly service

I visited both the Wednesbury (Junction 9) and the Stoke-on-Trent stores. It’s rare that I’d go to the effort of writing a review, but the service I received was so excellent in both stores, I felt compelled to do so. Sam in Stoke-on-Trent and Alisha in Wednesbury were incredibly helpful and willing to go out of their way to help. They both explained, very well, the benefits and disadvantages of each sofa and took the time to answer every question I had.

I’ve yet to receive the sofas, but I have total faith my expectations will be met.

Our initial experience in the showroom was excellent. However this has now completely changed - our sofa was delivered damaged and marked. Disappointing, but we were circumspect, these things happen - thinking they will just replace it … but no! A technician was sent to clean and repair it. He couldn’t get all of the marks out of the arm rest, so another arm cover was ordered. Another technician visit to fit the new arm cover and replace the ripped undercover … not only did this one make it worse (more damage and scuff marks to the sofa, new undercover haphazardly stapled over the ripped one with at least one sharp edge from a staple left protruding) he also managed to leave dirty marks on our hall carpet from his boots. A £10 goodwill gesture for the carpet marks has been offered and rejected, and we await a response for our request for a replacement or refund for our sofa. So here we are months after delivery, an awful experience and still without a sofa “we love”!

An excellent sales person, should have the unique skill, of reading the customers who come into the store and being able to speak to them on all levels. This is what we experienced from Vicky today. She was extremely knowledgeable, did the whole sales pitch as she should, but had the ability to pick up on our personalities and tap into that. It made sofa shopping a more pleasurable experience on a Sunday. Thank you.

We had some help from a lovely women called vicky at festival park, stoke on trent branch.
Very knowledgeable but also made the whole experience very enjoyable and light hearted.

Great customer service! Very informative and well guided- we don’t feel rushed to make a decision. We would definitely recommend sofology, great quality sofas, staff take pride in what they do.

We had a great experience, were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, asked about our intended items, and advised thoroughly on how to navigate the shop, by Sam, the lovely lady who then finalised our purchase and agreement. Sam also helped us find an alternative to what we initially chose, as those sofas were out of stock. We couldn't have had a better experience, I would give 6 stars if I could :)

5 STARS! Sam was great from start to finish. Process was quick and easy. Would highly recommend!
