Joe in Technical department is THE best!

I Had an issue with a product i purchased. It was not obvious to me till it was too late that i had purchased the PC version and i have a MAC. Joe in technical support was so knowledgable and helpful. He used his knowledge and consulted with his colleagues to find me a solution. I cant thank him enough for what would have been a very stressful situation without his expertise. I was very pleased when he told me he would be my go-to person for future issues. I'm hoping there will be none. What a great service.. i'll definitely be using Software keep again. Thanks Joe.

Took a whole day to get the software

Took a whole day to get the software. I was sent activation links that did not work and was signposted to different places.
Eventually, I was connected to Emir who was excellent and guided me right through the process of downloading and installing.

Only giving 2 stars because of Emir's kindness and ability to help, otherwise, I would rate one star.

Don't be fooled by all the positive…

Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews!
I ordered Corel Draw from them. SO much to complain about:
1) The web page was very unclear, and had descriptions of Microsoft Server 2012 mixed in with the Corel Draw descriptions. I kind-of forgave them for that because it's the .eu website, not .co.uk.
2) I never got a download link, raised a support ticket, and was told it's a physical DVD in a box (in spite of the confirmation email saying it's a download), and would take 7-10 days to arrive
3) More than 2 weeks later, still nothing
4) New support ticket saying 'where's my stuff'?
5) Reply: Apologies, there were 'unforeseen issues with our logistics/shipping'. Here's your money back.
6) Only problem, due to the exchange rate, my refund was less than the original purchase price
7) I still don't have Core Draw!!!
I never even had a the choice to wait or get another product instead. Very shoddy service indeed, so I'd say give them a wide berth. Buy someplace else - there are lots of good vendors to choose from.

Fantastic support from Emir

Fantastic support from Emir. Stayed with me all the way and explained what was happening. Anyone should have high confidence in dealing with. Remote support was finally required and done very professionally.

Breach of privacy – very happy ending!

I had previously left a very positive review, followed by a very negative review, and I am finishing off on a middle-of-the-road review.

I will try to keep this brief and concise.

I had sought assistance from SoftwareKeep's chat support after some issues with my Microsoft software purchased the previous week. In the course of the interaction the issues proved complex enough that Edward requested remote access to my computer to resolve the issues, which I granted. Long story short, unbeknownst to me, he abused my trust and violated my privacy by fraudulently leaving a review on this site to praise himself, without my knowledge. I don't know what else he did while he had remote access to my PC – there is no way to tell if my personal files were accessed or copied, or if malicious software was installed. I doubt it, but it is scary to think what might have taken place.

Edward's mistake was asking me to leave a review. After I did so, I noticed that there were Two reviews associated to my account, and this is when I discovered that in addition to my own review, one had been left under my name, written by Edward while he had privileged access to my PC.

The long and the short of things is that SoftwareKeep were quick to act and incredibly supportive. I asked to speak to a Manager by phone, and within a couple of hours I had a very solemn, very supportive manager call me, shocked by what had happened, but taking my complaint incredibly seriously. He refunded me the purchase I had made, as a gesture of goodwill, he assured me he would investigate thoroughly and keep me posted, and he apologised sincerely.

I was later informed that Edward had been immediately dismissed and that the CEO of the company would be in touch directly.

The next morning, I had an email from Edward, sent from his personal email address, harassing me and trying to justify his actions. Notably, no apology for the serious breach which took place. I did not respond, but instead informed the kind manager who had dealt with me so compassionately.

Next the CEO, Ronnie, called me to apologise for the whole situation, to share his shock and disappointment of my experience, and to keep me informed of what he was doing to make things right. His legal team were getting involved to ensure I would suffer no further harassment from Edward, and he was undertaking a company-wide investigation into reviews on TrustPilot to ensure that this was an isolated incident involving one bad egg. Ronnie has been nothing short of a saint in how he has reassured me, explained everything to me, and striven to make things right and regain my trust in his company. I would describe him as a genuine down-to-earth character, and this has encouraged me. He has clearly worked hard to build a successful business and he sees this situation as a personal failure. He has gifted me with a very kind gesture of goodwill, and has also offered to make a donation to my favourite charity organisation – Mary's Meals – on my behalf, demonstrating his own moral fortitude.

While I am editing this review to improve the score from 1-star, I must leave it at 3-stars since I can't ignore the serious violation I experienced and what I have felt since. I am really pleased with the customer care I have experienced in the aftermath and I am pleased with how quickly Edward was dealt with and how the company is changing its processes going forwards. Thank you Ronnie for your professionalism and thoughtfulness.

I don't want one bad egg to spoil the whole omelette, but I do feel it important to be honest and to let other would-be customers know my full experience – and that this be noted on TrustPilot, the arbiter of repute.

I consider the matter settled.
