I’ve been using Soil Ninja for a few years now and it’s always great quality soil and easy to find what you need. My plants flourish after every repot, I haven’t bothered with any other brands since switching to soil ninja. On a recent order, there was an issue with my package being damaged during the delivery and it had to be sent back. Amy in customer service was wonderful, a replacement delivery was sent out the next day once FedEx confirmed it was damaged and it arrived the day after. Soil Ninja is a brill company with great products and a great back up service despite it being outside of their control! I was very impressed with how it was handled and Amy is an asset to the soil ninja team. I will absolutely be placing another order soon.

I place my order. My moss poles were missing. I ordered 4x moss poles for £28. I contacted Soil Ninja. Amy from customer service is an absolute godsend. Fantastic customer service! She even threw in a free moss pole. When my missing order of moss poles arrived, I only received two instead of four, like I originally ordered. I also didn't receive the free moss pole. It seems to me that they don't have a correct system in place or know what they are doing. As a customer, you should feel valued, and I certainly don't. Very frustrating. Just remember, a million pounds spent on marketing will never beat word of mouth. My experience hasn't been brilliant, and unfortunately, as a new customer, I will not be using you again. Please try to learn from this. Don't spoil your company by rushing. Value your customers.

I know their main thing is small amounts of pre-mixed soils, but they are also an excellent place to buy small amounts of components like lava rock, zeolite, pumice graded by size, molar clay etc. that I would otherwise have to get in large amounts from bonsai shops and grade myself.

I have also bought a dried coir brick which seems to have lasted forever.

I’ve not had any problems with postage, and don’t think it’s unreasonable for the weight of the items I have bought, lava rock especially is pretty heavy.

Best soil I've ever used and their assistance is just perfect! One of the bags arrived ripped (carrier's fault) and Amy was not only very quick to solve the issue but very kind. Thank you, soon I'll be ordering again!

I use this website every time I need to top up but the shipping stops me from ordering more often. It's extortionate and for the price you pay, it's slow. It's something that really needs work as the rest of what Soil Ninja offers and provides is spot on.

I wouldn't mind paying £6 per delivery if it was next day, but it's too much of a sting for it to take two working days to dispatch and a further two to be delivered. It's also too much to ask for when someone is literally only wanting a small top up item.

The courier was useless and didn’t inform me my products were not going to be delivered. Emailed SN and they called me back pretty much straight away to tell me how they were going to fix it and apologised on behalf of the courier! Best service I have EVER received in my life. Plus their Semi Hydro is gold! Cheers SN!

Soil mixes are great and my plants love it! I've even seen some 'top' plant youtubers using soil ninja as well.

I had an issue with the delivery company and even though I acted extremely frustrated in the email they basically killed me with kindness and solved the issue for me, cannot recommend enough 10/10

Amazing company in every way! I just can't recommend Soil Ninja enough. I've made two big orders with them, including ready made mixes (which btw are super helpful especially for busy plant parents) and separate mediums to make my own blends. Everything comes is secure packaging that's easy to reseal and store unlike a lot of other companies where you have to cut/tear the bag. The quality of their products is so good, my 60+ plants absolutely love it and are thriving. But probably best of all is the customer service. I've emailed them twice to ask for advice and although they are under no obligation to help me, they've taken the time to get back to me and advise, even on the phone (special thanks to Amy for this!). The Soil Ninja team seem very knowledgeable, passionate and genuine about plants/plant care, which is exactly what you want when trying to do the best for your plant babies. I also regularly use their A-Z houseplant index to work out what soil is best for my new plants, which is so helpful. I absolutely recommend Soil Ninja to everyone, don't think twice!

I love my plants and want to provide them with the best, so it’s great to find the perfect soil cocktails that they will thrive in! It’s cool that you can order all the components to make your own mixes, too, but the ready mixed bags are just so convenient for busy plant parents, and the flexible quantities are a cherry on the top. The website is so easy to navigate and super informative. Also love the fact that, not only is the packaging aesthetically pleasing, it’s also recyclable! Love Soil Ninja! 💚

Best soil mix for Cacti available in the UK.
I love all the components too, so you can make the soil perfect for your Cactus needs.

Its very reasonably priced, since the quality is so good.
Very fast DPD Delivery.

I recommend it to everybody. A mix for any houseplant that you have.
I wont shop for soil anywhere else. I had a great Spring and Summer using this, lots of my Cacti flowered and gave fruit!

Definitely give it a try. Better than any soil on Amazon, B&Q or the likes.

Excellent company, I have used several times. I did have an issue with a smashed box with some items missing but it was dealt with swiftly, which is a real strength to any company.

If I could improve anything it would be their checkout, it would be good to have a basket that showed you how much more you need to spend for free shipping, as this is not shown on their website - not that I could see and I did search.

Excellent semi-hydro mix, I couldn’t recommend Soil Ninja enough. My Philodendron Gloriosum has been loving it for the past month. I really like that you can pick between a course or fine mix to cater for different types of plants.
The sphagnum moss is also great, my plants on moss poles are rooting very quickly.
Secure packaging which looks lovely to display, unlike many other soil brands. Very quick delivery. Will definitely be ordering again.

Excellent potting mix, best choice I ever made for my Monsteras!

Decided to give this potting mix a try after hearing great things. Took the plunge and treated myself to a Thai Constellation Monstera and wanted to give it the best chance at life so decided to invest in some Soil Ninja for it and my other Monsteras. What an excellent decision that was!

They are all absolutely thriving! The Thai Constellation has put out a new leaf already and has another new one coming on literally two days after unfurling! I am SO pleased I bought this potting mix. My standard Monstera Deliciosa has put out a new leaf aswell after three weeks in Soil Ninja and several months of no growth prior to repotting.

Going to save up for some more mixes and hopefully repot some of my other plants aswell, they deserve it!

Amazing stuff!

I purchased some specific soil for my succulents an my marantas along with some slow release fertiliser. I repotted all my plants a few months ago and all of them are already healthier than they’ve ever been. My prayer plant has put on a massive bloom of purple flowers, which I’ve never seen and is rare for these plants. As has one of my succulents, which I didn’t even know flowered and I’ve had it for years. I also tried it on a plant that was dying and sludgey and had lost all its leaves and now it has two new leaves! So impressed.

It is a very good sphagnum moss but I'm disappointed.

Sphugnum moss reminder: This is wild sphagnum moss, so do expect the occasional pine needle or hitchhikers in there, along with all the
beneficial microfauna!

Please check your plants if you are using this sphagnum moss. Not a fun experience to see it arriving with thrips and other bugs that are actively chewing on the moss. I’m glad i got magnifying glass.

What a fantastic service i received. It was the first time ordering. I just happened to come across soil ninja while i was looking for worm castings. I checked on here to make sure it was a trustworthy company and made an order. The prices were really cheap compared to Amazon that i usually use. The stuff i ordered came incredibly quick and arrived very well packaged.
I was really impressed with the fact their bags are sealable which makes it so much easier to store away.
The soils were of high quality and were perfect for my plants.
I'll definitely be using these again when i need more.

I've bought a couple soil mixes from Soil Ninja and they arrive perfectly every time, and are clearly high quality.

I've now placed my 3rd(?) order with components so I can experiment with mixing my own potting mixes!

I wouldn't order potting mixes from anyone else.
