Good morning
Just of late I started the painful task of trying to find someone I could trust, to arrange to have solar fitted to my new house in Bundy. yes it was painful until i found Green and gold ,through the long list . Shane there rep was straight forward and upfront with his service, very professional,and easy to under stand, I have signed up with them,and I am sure i will have a professional experience with there company .

Quoting system

You authorised and sent out a flier which was clearly misleading and dishonest. There is nowhere on the flier the words 1.5 Kw system only 3Kw 4Kw And 5Kw. with prices which were for a 1.5 Kw system. This is false and misleading advertising on a scale which has made me refer this to the relevant authority. The response from them has at least made me very very hopeful that your organisation shall be fined and shown for the shonky scamming people you are.

well they all make some form of contact with you and make appointments with you and never turn up so straight away you scrub them off the list as what will they be like if you give them the job

Thank you for sending out my request. The only problem was that I got eight replies. I think some had two companies shielded by one name. Only two reps came to the house but this would be reasonable as no quotes had been accepted. One rep had the old chestnut offer, only to end of month, order signed and deposit taken there and then. Luckily I had been warned against doing so. The second rep to call had better quality products that out shone the others on offer, was not pushy, had better engineering skill, had good price and after due concideration I signed on the dotted line.

We have moved from Sydney to Cairns & are renovating, & we needed to source Solar Panel companies. The recommendation were all reputable companies & contacted us within 24 hrs. All quotes were done over a few days & we are very pleased with the results.

I requested assistance to purchase 4 solar panels. One responce only who only installed.

Slow response time, then received too many calls at an inappropriate time, then not one company bothered to follow up and call back at my requested time... Thanks for forwarding my details to so many total muppets.

I thought I would be getting a couple of people to contacct me & give me a quote on what I wanted - Instead it was sent to about 10 suppliers - one all the way up the north coast and another in Melbourne. The all wanted to see me before they would give me an indicative price. I still don't have a quote BUT please don't forward to anymore people. I'll seek personnaly locally myself

speaking to a frend i will say , go to solar-panel-installers.com.au ,because you get all the attention from installers you looking for, with all the right quotations.

We emailed a request for Solar Panel Quotes and received about 5 responses. Three were from Canberra where we live and two others from Nsw and Victoria. We discussed details with the non ACT suppliers, but as they were not represented full time in Canberra, it seemed like it might be a problem if we needed their help in the future. So we asked the local suppliers to come and giver a quote. We received 3 quotes, not a lot of difference in the prices quoted, and have picked one of those to proceed with. The reason for our selection was based on the representatives preparedness to discuss his proposal in ordinary language, his honesty on where the panels and inverters were made, and the relative efficiency of each type, plus a clear understanding of what we could expect.

We had several companies call us about getting solar put on. Some of the companies that rang were a little pushy, but on the whole most the rest were really good with quotes and information.

We were sent a list of about a dozen firms our job was referred to. Three replied, one gave a rough quote over the phone, one made an appointment to look at the job and didn't turn up and the third, who sent someone out, still haven't got back to us with their quote.

The biggest gripe we have while our solar system was installed and discussion with
associates and freinds who have also had systems installed is with the panel installers !!
The crack and break tiles - remove them and silicon them together then place them under the new array which is mounted in such a way that the brocken tile is placed under the centre of the array - therefore it is not noticable until the experiences rain
the tile then leaks as the silicon job is atrocious and the cieling below is affected - badly in some cases where it must be replaced , trying to convince the company that
they are responsible is a nightmare so make sure future people considering the install of solar systems that you cover this in the contract when you sign up!!!!!!
